Take in amazing mountain and lake views that extend for miles from the decks of this 4BR/3BA home! As part of the Rumbling Bald Resort on Lake Lure, enjoy a plethora of amenities to fill your days with excitement and relaxation. Play a round on the two golf courses, unwind at the wellness center spa, or take a dip in three pools. Other perks include a lakefront beach, private marina, lighted tennis courts, and community walking trails.

Glorious views of Youngs Mountain and Bald Mountain Lake await on the wraparound decks at home. Inside, vaulted ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace, and rustic-chic accents add allure. A downstairs suite with its own living area, kitchen, and bedroom offers added privacy.

LIVING AREA

A wood-burning fireplace with stone surround and vaulted ceilings create an inviting ambience in the main living area. Snuggle up on the sofa and watch shows on the flat-screen TV.

The living area in the downstairs suite includes a sofa, an armchair, and a flat-screen TV.

KITCHEN & DINING

Prepare dishes in the kitchen, appointed with an array of helpful gadgets. Sip coffee at the breakfast table for two.

Gather for meals around the dining table for four.

BED & BATH

This three-story home sleeps eleven guests in four bedrooms.

The primary bedroom has a queen bed. Step out to the deck to find a table for four. The en-suite bathroom has walk-in shower.

The second and third bedrooms each offer a queen bed. The adjacent bathroom has a tub/shower combination.

Located separately on the lower level, the downstairs suite features a queen bed. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. Also, there is a twin over twin bunk bed with twin size trundle and 3 Storage Stairs in the common space.

OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES

Kick back in armchairs on the wraparound deck and admire panoramic lake and mountain views. Dine alfresco at the table for four. The lower deck is a shady retreat furnished with a love seat.

Rumbling Bald Resort perks include two golf courses and three pools, as well as a wellness center with spa services and a fitness center. Spend days on the resort beach or launch your boat from the private marina. Enjoy on-site walking trails, lighted tennis courts, and mini-golf.

The heated pool is normally open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

EXTRA PERKS & MORE DETAILS

Complimentary Wi-Fi and a washer/dryer are provided. There is driveway parking for one or two cars (driveway is steep) and additional parking in front of the house ( best option).

For questions regarding boat slip rentals, boat launch, or the beach, call the Rumbling Bald Resort Cabana. Kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, and pontoon boats can be rented from various local companies from Memorial Week-Thanksgiving. A discounted rate may apply with your reservation.

Lake Lure notice: Pontoon boats and non-motorized vessels may be no longer than 28 feet. All other boats, such as ski boats, fishing boats, deck boats, etc., may be no longer than 21 feet

Wonderful Christmas Getaway

Our extended family of 9 (ranging in age from 8 weeks to 65 years) went to celebrate Christmas and had a wonderful time. The house's views were even better than the listing. There was plenty of space for everyone and it was very close to attractions like ziplining, Chimney Rock, and of course the Lake. The kitchen was well-appointed, and it was especially helpful that the property had a pack and play with a bassinet available so we didn't have to lug ours along. Some things to be aware of (didn't take away from our visit, but are good to know!) -The outdoor steps on the deck were very steep and outdoor lighting was a little dim. Definitely need to use care when going up or down after dark. -there is a gate on the deck steps but our smaller dog (35 lbs) was able to squeeze right through it, meaning he could just roam freely whenever he wanted without close supervision -the AC/heat was locked, so could not be self-adjusted. When we asked the host they said it could be controlled remotely by then if we requested, and when the connection did not work they reached out to ensure we could find the keys and adjust it if we needed to. We ended up leaving it alone, but the temperature differential throughout the house was pretty dramatic. If you must have a specific temperature to be comfortable, it's good to know. Overall, it was a fantastic property that suited our needs, and the deck with the views was an added bonus. We had a great time and would definitely stay again!

Amazing Mountain Home

This house was perfect for me and my family (3 senior citizens, 3 teenagers, 2 adults). It had spectacular views and plenty of sitting space for us all to gather. The kitchen had everything we needed to make Thanksgiving dinner. We spent time in Lame Lure, Chimney Rock, Black Mountain, Mount Mitchell, and even toured Biltmore House and enjoyed it all dressed up for Christmas. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Perfect birthday celebration

Stayed here to celebrate a 70th birthday with family. Nice clean house with beautiful views. Host replied immediately about an air conditioning issue. Would definitely stay here again! We all loved it!

great place!

The pictures on the property's info page showed the high altitude view of the mountains and Lake Lure. Those pictures grabbed - and in real life it was even better. Having access to resort below made it even better.The place is quiet and the air is clean. Almost intoxicating. We hated to leave and want to go back. Our thanks to Ernie (property manager) who was great to work with.
