Unwind in this 3-story mountain cabin overlooking the iconic golf hole featured in Dirty Dancing! Set in Rumbling Bald Resort, it’s perfect for families and groups—sleeps 14 comfortably (16 with cots)—and includes 14 full resort passes.

Sleeping Arrangements:

Main Level: Primary bedroom with 2 queen beds + en-suite full bath, with additional full bath off kitchen

Upper Level: 2 bedrooms (each with a queen + twin) and 1 full shared bath, plus a private loft with king bed

Lower Level: Bedroom with 1 queen + 1 double, 2 single cots, and 1 full bath

Bathrooms:

4 full baths total: 1 on each floor for guest convenience, 2 on main

Great retreat

We had 16 ladies for a church retreat and had a wonderful time. The view was beautiful. The amenities offered fun for all. The sleeping arrangements were just right. The air conditioning quit working one afternoon but the owner had an HVAC tech on site within hours and it was working in time for a great evening devotional and good night's sleep. The owner and property manger were always quick to reply. I highly recommend this house.

Dancing Falls Lodge - Mountain Oasis

10/10 ⭐️ Booking, communication, check in / check out process was seemless. The host instantly responded when contacted. The property is as pictured, in an absolutely beautiful location, a perfect spot for our family gathering and very nicely appointed with all you need. The resort includes great amenities and our grandkids loved the beach area. You can rent a pontoon boat at the Rumbling Bald marina which was such a great experience. Highly recommend! Thanks Tom we had the best time.

Great family time!

This house met all of our needs! From having 2 refrigerators in the kitchen which was a HUGE help and then even having a 3rd one in the garage was the icing on the cake! Traveling with a large group means alot of food! The sun room rite off of the kitchen made a perfect spot for the kids to eat and play games and we could close the door when they were loud!! The adults enjoyed games and cards every night around the kitchen table!! The kitchen provided all the necessary tools to cook! Which we cooked at least 2 meals a day at the the house! We only had 1 minor complaint we wish they would have left more bath towels for us! We would absolutely recommend this house!!

Maintenance issues

Arriving at 4:20 pm,inside thermostat read 80 degrees. Prop mgr was aware & I was advised that AC tech would be out on Sun.Strong urine odor on 2nd floor from prev renter, which they had spot cleaned, but the odor was very strong all week.AC tech fixed AC & also found droppings in attic. Not sure if pest co came out. My guests did hear noise in attic at night. Also ice maker was broken.

Beautiful house

Our family gathered at Dancing Falls for a week and had a wonderful time. I was a bit disappointed that the waterfall mentioned in the name and description of the property is so far down the mountain side that we couldn't get anywhere near it! Our kids are big nature explorers, and they were hoping to get their feet wet. That said, we made very good use of the pool and the beach. That was a real lifesaver during this hot, sticky week!

Lovely way to ring in the new year

The house was wonderful with lots of space for all of us. We went on walks each day and the area was so enjoyable to explore. The house was still decorated for the holidays which was such a nice surprise. Would definitely stay there again.

A little bit of paradise here at Lake Lure

November 1-5, 2023 This was a very clean, spacious, well stocked cabin with amazing views. The trees were beautiful & still had most of their leaves. We enjoyed sitting on the deck listening to the waterfall, late night conversions by the fire pit, playing games & taking advantage of the outdoor amenities; corn hole, giant chess board, checkers, basketball & Jenga. A nice playground for the kids & beach area! So much to do right on the property! We seen a bear waking past our cabin and then again the next day at a neighbors cabin & walking near the road (early evening) on our way back from the beach area. We got excellent photos & videos of this. Highlight of the trip!! Four days was NOT long enough for us! Would love to come back in early summer. My favorite cabin so far!

Fantastic for big families!!

It was perfect for my 60th birthday celebration with my 4 children & grandchildren!! Loved the gorgeous property, location, view, history of Dirty Dancing movie & really neat decor. We all would love to come back sometime.

Time of our life!

We used this property as our annual family ladies trip. There were 9 of us present and there was plenty of space for rest, relaxation, and cooking some good food! We ranged in age from 21 to 81 and there was something available for all of us. The only issue we had was locating a light switch (we missed the dimmers!) And the keys to the hot tub (they were right in front of our eyes 🤣). Laurie answered our concerns quickly and checked in on us. We will definitely return to this property!!

Extended family getaway

We stayed here to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday and had a fantastic time! The house was perfect to accommodate 4 families and all ages found entertainment within the house. The amenities in Rumbling Bald were enjoyed by everyone.

Annual Cabin Trip

Laurie's house is phenomenal! A group of us came to stay for a few nights (10 adults) and we had more than enough space. The rooms were great and no one felt like they were getting the short end of the stick. We were supplied with more than enough towels and washcloths as well. Communication was great and Laurie was very responsive and hospitable. We loved the space on the decks and the fire pit allowed us to enjoy it as it was pretty cold during our stay. Not to mention theres an amazing view of the water - it was so peaceful and serene. We loved the game rooms as well as we enjoyed the puzzles, checkers, and pool table! We've taken this trip for 6 years now and this house was our favorite without a doubt. Even better, since it's located in a resort, there's a spa 2 minutes away we visited for massages and facials (it was life changing). There are also many other amenities you can use through the resort as well (putt putt, an indoor pool, boat rentals, etc.). I highly recommend this cabin for groups looking for a nice place to enjoy nice views and a great time with family or friends. We hope to come back again!

Wonderful place for a gathering!

My siblings and our spouses once again booked Dancing Falls to celebrate our mother’s birthday (now deceased), and to enjoy each other. This cabin is so homey and fits our needs. The hot tub, the fire pit, the game room for the guys to have their “man cave” to watch football, the view, sitting out on the deck and listening to the babbling water run over the rocks —-it’s all just so great! Laurie, the host was so accommodating and prompt with her replies to any questions you might have. You will not be disappointed !

Wonderful Week In The Mountains

We have wanted to take our three children and their families to the Mountains for a week of fun and relaxation. We chose Dancing Falls and are so glad . It did not disappoint! The home was perfect for our family. There was something for everyone. The home was spacious and fully stocked. It was everything and more than described. There were things to do for the kids at the resort as well. The owners went above and beyond to accommodate us. .We were an hour away from Asheville, NC and all it had to offer. I highly recommend staying here. I’m hoping we can return in the near future!

Annual Cousin’s trip

We rented this cabin for our annual cousin’s trip and it was awesome! Super clean, great fire pit on the deck and the kitchen was perfect for gathering together and hanging out. The hosts were extremely accommodating as well letting us know the cabin was ready hours in advance which was exciting to get the vacation started early! It really was a great place to stay… and I’m pretty picky! Haha
