Highland Hideaway is a thoughtfully appointed home in the Rumbling Bald Resort in Lake Lure. As our guest at Highland Hideaway, you will have access to the resort amenities - enjoy the community beach, pool, mini golf, and spa (additional cost may apply for certain amenities and the resort rules must be observed by all guests). **Please note that the town of Lake Lure has sent out a press release that the lake will not be open for public use in 2025 to help speed up the clean up efforts from hurricane Helene. That means that the beach at Rumbling Bald may not be open to the public as well. All other Rumbling Bald resort amenities are open and excitedly awaiting our guests to enjoy them.**

The home opens up to a spacious living room with lots of natural light. The dining room is open to the living room and is tastefully decorated to provide all the comforts of home so you can enjoy a relaxing vacation. A well equipped kitchen provides all of the basics necessary to prepare meals for your family. The refrigerator/freezer features 'craft ice' for drink aficionados. A propane gas grill just off the breakfast nook on the spacious deck is available to guests who enjoy grilling. The primary bedroom is located on the main level and has an en-suite with a walk-in shower and a tub. Two more bedrooms on the main level share the hall bath with a shower/tub combo.
The lower level offers a fantastic family and game space with a pool table that can be easily converted to ping pong for some friendly competition. Another bedroom is located in the lower level with access to a full bath with a large tiled shower and a dry sauna. The large flat screen TV is great for watching movies and sports. A nice deck outside of the family/game room is great for listening to the birds and watching wildlife. You may even see a black bear (Please don't feed the bears!). The wooded view of Lake Lure and the mountains add to the serenity of this beautiful property. There is a FROG (finished room above the garage) bonus space that has been converted to sleeping quarters with two queen size beds.
