This beautiful getaway with newly restored fireplace is set on an acre of land on Townline Drive, equidistant from the villages of Ephraim and Sister Bay, and right in the heart of Door County. Find shopping, restaurants, galleries, and a spa within steps of Nordic Hearth Cottage. By car, our central location on the peninsula puts our guests only minutes away from beaches, wineries, trolley tours, dozens of outdoor activities, and the breathtaking scenery that Door County has to offer!
Full of natural light and whimsical Scandinavian touches, this cozy cottage combines old world charm with all the comforts of home. Towels and bed linens are provided, and the newly remodeled bathroom is stocked with bar soap, toilet paper, and a hair dryer. Each of the bedrooms has a dresser and spacious closet, so unpack and make yourself at home! The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare and serve home-cooked meals, and the open dining concept makes the space perfect for family gatherings. Stock up on groceries from the Piggly Wiggly just two miles from the cottage in Sister Bay, and help yourself to the tea and coffee we’ve already provided!
Nordic Hearth is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy some time away from it all. Get comfy in the living room and browse satellite TV channels, stream your favorite shows from your mobile device, or spend quiet time in the sunroom, (enjoy fantastic views of the sunrise/sunset!!), get lost in a book; or take in the beautiful surroundings as you lounge on the deck. The property’s large yard is the perfect place to make the most of Door County summer nights and stargaze away from city lights. Or, if you visit us in the winter, spend your evenings cozied up by the wood-burning stone fireplace- newly renovated. We also provide books, DVDs, and board games for rainy days.
