Enjoy this beautiful 1bedroom, 1bathroom with waterfront views, and a sofa bed for additional guests. Our bedroom features a king bed and plenty of closet space. The full bathroom includes a spacious walk-in shower with an updated vanity.
The open concept living space, entails a kitchenette with a mini fridge, stovetop with 2 burners. The living room has seating for up to 6 guests next to a cozy fireplace, with additional seating in the dining nook. And don't forget to enjoy the walkout patio as the boats sail in and out of Round Lake.

The Edgewater Inn is located on north shore of Round Lake harbor and the Pine River channel with prime drawbridge views. Just a short walk to Charlevoix’s finest dining, beaches, shopping and galleries, the Edgewater Inn is an ideal location for a short getaway, extended vacation, or wedding celebration. One-bedroom/one-bath and two-bedroom/two-bath units offer all the amenities needed for a comfortable home-away-from-home stay.
Each condo is individually owned and uniquely decorated. Stay in a different room every time or find a favorite. With 47 unique rooms, numerous amenities and a friendly staff, the Edgewater Inn offers business or leisure travelers an enjoyable place to stay in the heart of beautiful downtown Charlevoix. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the building, as well as a guest laundry facility. The inside section of the pool is open year-round, while the outside section is closed off October to May.

We’ve been staying at the Edgewater for over thirty years. We love Charlevoix. First time staying in this room. Nicely decorated. The bed and furniture was comfortable. Room was on the lower level and close to the door to parking lot. We will try to book this room again for next year. Very quiet.

Best Waterfront views in downtown Charlevoix

The Edgewater Inn rental property uniquely offers the best waterfront views available in downtown Charlevoix. This particular end unit is on the first floor and has a larger living space than most of the other 1 bedroom units. There are several glass doors with breathtaking waterfront views. The unit has been updated and was very clean. While it felt private, we enjoyed watching the boats coming and going into Lake Michigan.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been staying at the Edgewater Inn for 35 years and look forward to it each year. The rates have gotten pretty pricey and due to this we are going to begin looking around the area for alternative lodging. You used to offer a 10% discount when staying 7 nights which you no longer offer. You should offer this as it also saves you money in turning over the condo cleaning wise less often. The majority of people we talk to only stay a night or two due to the cost. The manager and front staff were very kind and responsive to the concerns we had during our stay such as lack of hot water for showers. Think you should be able to opt out of housekeeping services at a slight discount. We prefer to clean up after ourselves and not have people coming into our rental each day. You also need to provide parking passes for renters cars when they check in. When we came back late at night, we were unable to find a parking space due to others not lodging at the Edgewater. Had to park on the grass on a slight hill.

The staff are very professional and friendly, especially Lana & Veronica.We had a clean comfortable condominium with relaxing views and amenities. We did, however, have an issue with the refrigerator not working well. We lost all our food in the freezer. I understand it will be fixed prior to our next visit in August. We also had lots of spiders in our condo, my husband killed nine that I know of. A quick insect spray or web cleaning might help. I realize this cannot totally be avoided. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, we booked two more stays this year.

This unit needs to be cleaned.Hardwood floors are dirty. Rugs in entry and kitchen need to be replaced. The carpet in the bedroom is needing to be replaced.Update the kitchen coffee cups and drink ware.The building should upgrade the paper products.

Only complaint was that we were notified two days before arrival that major exterior renovations were taking place during our stay. There were many construction crew working through out our stay, sometimes directly outside our doors and windows. While the construction crew was courteous and professional we felt like we should have been notified at the time of booking of the renovations. I likely would have chose different accommodation's and feel this is misleading. Having said that it is a nice property and location.

Perfect getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful!! This was a much needed weekend away! The condo was large and spacious and perfect for all of us girls! Walking in and getting the view of the lake is stunning, we were all blown away with the sunsets each night! Having a clean well equipped kitchen to cut costs on eating out is phenomenal, but we still enjoyed the short walk just over the bridge to town and the beach to eat, shop, rock hunt etc! Housekeeping will come and take care of your trash and give you clean towels if you put a sign on your door and the pool even has a sauna. After this experience it’s going to be hard for me to stay at a normal hotel again!
