Multiple family stay at the Retreats

We stayed close to a week in retreat four and my brother and his wife and family stayed in retreat one, easy walking distance and both homes are adequate to share a large meal with the family members. The accommodations were outstanding but we would probably have to reconsider staying this time of year as the beaches were extraordinarily rocky and difficult to maneuver especially for some of our older family members.

Amazing stay!

I have never been so impressed with a lake cabin! We arrived to an absolute spotless cabin. The lake access was superb! The amenities top notch! We had other family members stay in two other retreats on the same street, but our house was where we all met for dinner and lake activities. It was a beautiful memorable trip! Would highly recommend!

Relaxing family lake fun

Retreat 4 is the best location we've stayed in to-date. The house is immaculate, very spacious and fully equipped with everything any family or group needs for a great lake vacation. We had a group of 8 and felt comfortable in all the nice bedrooms, great A/C, deck views were amazing. Our kids could walk down to the water very easily and utilize the kayaks provided. We could watch from the deck while BBQ'ing. We will be back for sure.

Lovely lakeside retreat.

We had such an excellent stay. The perfect cozy cabin with outstanding lake views! Easy check in and check out. So clean and well appointed everything we needed to make Thanksgiving memories. So much incredible birdwatching as well. You will not be disappointed. We will be back for sure.

Great spacious cabin

Has everything you need and more. Great place for larger groups and separate families. Never a dull moment! Getting to lake was a bit rough up and down otherwise great

The home was rustic and perfect for a family with older children.

The owners were very attentive and checked in with us to make sure the stay was going well. The description of the home in the ad was exactly what we experienced. We had a great time.

Great property!

This property served my whole family, including the dogs, really well. We didn't have one complaint. The property manager (Lori) was super helpful and responded quickly.

Peaceful Lakeside Vacation

We enjoyed the lakefront location and the separation from adjacent neighbors that this house provides. The beds were comfortable and there was adequate seating for a large group both inside and on the lovely deck. The a/c kept us cool and the house seemed to have every little thing we needed to cook several meals. We look forward to returning in the future.

Great Family Retreat

Plenty of space inside as well as outdoor seating. The large enclosed patio was an added bonus with our small grandchildren. We took our four grown kids and two grandkids and had plenty of comfortable space and plenty of activities to entertain us: a game room with extra fridge (very nice touch) as well as lots of lake activities provided. The updated kitchen had all of the essentials needed to cook all of our meals for the weekend. The cabin is steps to the lake but be sure to bring lake shoes as the shore is a little rocky. We can't wait to visit again!

Amazing vacation!!

My husband and I brought our 6 Grandchildren (8-15) to this cabin. It was perfect!! We had the downstairs mancave and the upstairs she shed. Plenty of room for all of us. Game room was a big hit as well as the outdoor deck and propane fireplace.

Family vacation

Beautiful lake location. Loved watching the evening sunset from the deck. Lots of room to spread out. Lovely quiet neighborhood. I don't recommend trying to get down to the water if your senior or carrying a child. Great retreat are so close to boat rentals. Thank you so much!

Perfect Cabin

Loved our time at Shasta! Cabin was awesome. Kitchen was well stocked, bedrooms had lots of sleeping accommodations (very comfortable beds), and the home felt very clean. AC worked great-a nice break from the high temps outside! Water levels were so low that it was quite a hike down to the lake-hopefully we’ll be able to return another time when the water is higher. Would definitely recommend this lovely cabin as a great alternative to a houseboat!

Amazing retreat

Long overdue review. We have stayed at retreat #4 this time and again were so happy with our stay. Lori is an amazing host and made sure that everything was perfect for our stay. Very attetive host. We are a family of 7 with 2 large dogs and a special needs son. Everyone had plenty of space and had a wonderful time. You won't be disappointed, we always have an amazing time. Thank you, we can't wait to return!

4th of July family reunion

We just finished a wonderful stay at Shasta Lakeshore Retreats. Lori and Dave were very accommodating with any questions or requests we had. Houses were all very comfortable for our group. One home was a little further than we liked but no fault of the resorts. We just didn't look at the map well enough prior to booking but something to keep in mind if you are getting multiple homes for your group. We will most certainly book again!
