The house was very nice, spacious, in a very nice location, it had everything we needed, including beach umbrellas, beach chairs, reef shoes, and snorkeling and surfing equipment. The host responded immediately. The only negative was that this area of Princeville had almost nonexistent cell connection and Wi-Fi was not strong enough on the second floor of the house.

I’m glad you enjoyed our secret tips about the beaches and trailheads. Having them in the binder, makes them quickly accessible without having to find them on the Vrbo app. We recommend people take pictures of the recommendations in the binder so that they have them with them in case they are off-line, which can be the case in the More remote parts of the North Shore. We loved our vacation in Kauai! This house was so perfect for our family of 10. Scott was great at communicating in a timely manner. There are lots of extras with the house that our kids and grandkids enjoyed....beach chairs, beach towels, surf boards, bikes, wagon, beach umbrella, snorkel equipment, and beach toys. It was well stocked. The kitchen is very well stocked and we were able to make some meals there. There is a very nice grill as well. If we ever return to Kauai, we would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The house was gorgeous and had a lot of nice amenities! Fit 8 people comfortably. We loved using the grill to cook fish and did enjoy lots of the beach gear in the garage. I would recommend this house and neighborhood to any!

Great location and beautiful family house!

Big and beautiful house in a great neighborhood! We loved walking the path on the golf course and being near Hanalei. It was also very nice to have beach items and towels! Our only complaint is that the king size bed creaked very badly and there were a couple issues with the bedroom doors.

With enough privacy to allow you the intimacy you desire. Kauai is unlike anywhere on the planet. You will find a peace, beauty and joy on this Garden Isle at the Heavenly Arch "Kapiolani" House. Our family and friends loves this home!!!

In the North Shore of Kauai, things are quieter, greener, cooler and prettier. Many secluded and often deserted beaches to explore off short trails everywhere including world famous Ke'e' Beach and Hanalei Bay.

"Ho'omaha" (Rested) Scott, your contact and host for this tropical adventure in relaxation, rejuvenation and recreation is a retired Recreation Director. He has lived abroad 11 years, been fortunate enough to see a fair bit of this marvelous world and roughly speaks five languages (English, Swedish, Portuguese, Spanish and Danish.)

Please ask me how I can make this trip more enjoyable. I will be happy to share many tips and secrets that most visitors are completely unaware of. I will be happy to share, if you promise not to give them away to just anyone.

Some quick information about the house and the area: Whether you are a first time visitor or are coming back to Paradise for yet another trip, you will always find new things to explore.:

Princeville is grand, manicured, lush and quiet situated on the ocean bluffs with jaw dropping mountain and ocean views. Great bike/walk paths are fun to explore with play grounds close by, tennis courts and world class golf next door.

Our local commercial center with a gas station, a large supermarket, hardware store, library, community center, many good restaurants and shops is not far.

Our unique unparalleled, unspoiled natural beauty is like a time machine of quieter, gentler days. No hustle and bustle of Maui or Oahu. Even the southern and eastern parts of Kauai have more people in their crowded beaches and hotels.

River & rainbows, surfing, kayaking and SUPs. hiking and biking, swimming, splashing, family beaches with lifeguards. Precarious cliffs with views of blues from both the sky and water. Sunrises, Sunsets, tropical drinks, shave ice and cold beers.

Grill outdoors, conjure up a gourmet meal in the chef's kitchen indoors or go out to the many restaurants in next door Hanalei Bay or right here in Princeville.

Go fishing, go underwater, take pictures, do not touch the wildlife, but be amazed by them. On land, in the air, in the water; fauna and flora flourish here on the Garden Isle.
