Barndominium with lake view, bring your fishing poles and canoes/kayaks! Located on 18 acre property on Barton’s Creek of Old Hickory Lake. Peaceful setting, wildlife galore. 1 bedroom with King bed/1 bathroom, fully equipped kitchen. Balcony with amazing view and a fire pit as well as a porch with rocking chair and porch swing. 25 miles east of downtown Nashville!

Guests are welcome to enjoy the barn porch with a swing and rocking chair, the balcony, and walk down to the lake to fish, kayak/canoe, or just hang out!

We live on the property but the barndominum is completely separate and we will stay out of your way unless we are needed.

We are 15 minutes to the historic Lebanon town square where you can shop for antiques, shop at boutiques, enjoy delicious food at Town Square Social, coffee at Split Bean, and ice cream at Main Street Mercantile. We are also 15 minutes from the closest marina (Cherokee) with boat rentals and lake front dining.

You will need a car to get to the barndominium and around town.
Absolutely no parties! No smoking inside the barn.

We enjoyed staying there, great place to get away and relax and be close to the lake. I would definitely recommend coming back for a weekend getaway.

Beautiful property

Very responsive host. Beautiful farmhouse chic perfect for 2. Lovely setting on the lake. Lots of deer. Quiet area. Close enough to Nashville but perfect distance away from the traffic and chaos. Recommend eating at Cumberland Canteen and shopping downtown Square.

Lovely Stay In The Country

We had a wonderful stay at the Barndominium! If you want to get away from the busy city life to an adorable place in the country with a lot of space and a view of the water and some wildlife, but still have an easy drive into Nashville, this is perfect for you. Kellie has great communication and has thought of everything to make it feel like home. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable we have ever had on a trip! Thank you for a lovely time! We didn't want to leave!

The best place to stay in the area!

The barndominium was truly a refuge after long days of cooking BBQ at the KCBS World Invitational held at the Lebanon fairgrounds on Memorial Day weekend. It was such a relaxing atmosphere with wonderful views, and every comfort you could ask for. They even provided a mixer for us to use while we were there. The place was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. The couches made great spots for relaxing. There is a balcony with a gas fire pit and chairs. You have a great view of the boats out on the river and the wildlife (we saw deer everyday we were there). The hosts were very responsive to questions. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to everyone! Just a note: there are steps to climb to get to the "barndominium" as it is above the garage.

Spartan/ pre-op weekend getaway

We enjoyed the ride out to the property, it was secluded yet a short drive to downtown. The Barndominium was a perfect, just enough space for all of us. My husband spent most of the trip on the balcony. As much as we loved the property it could use a thorough cleaning, there was dog and human hair on the couches and bed that stuck to us when we got up. The bathroom had a musky feeling with old frayed towels. It kinda felt like the cleaning portion was rushed, like we were an unexpected guest to a family member. Again, we enjoyed the property it fit our needs for the weekend. We understood the owners living near the property in actuality, the owners house is a toddler’s baseball throw away.

EXACTLY what I was looking for

My friend and I were in town for a concert in Nashville. I wanted: - Somewhere outside of the city, but still an easy drive - Trees, wildlife, etc - Something simple, with character, and comfortable This place definitely checked all the boxes! The property and apartment look even better in person. I only have 2 minor comments to add. 1. Check in instructions could have been a bit more thorough and a little more clear. We did make it to the property and inside without asking for help after some trial and error 😆(we did reach out about alternate routes earlier in the evening because there was an accident blocking the road, and Kellie responded quickly and found us a way!)

Wonderful quiet getaway!!

Everything was as advertised! Excellent place, excellent location, excellent hosts!! Kellie was very accommodating and replied quickly to any questions we had. Bed was extremely comfortable! Slept no problem the first night and I usually don’t when I’m somewhere different. The only thing we might suggest would be to add a microwave. Definitely not a deal breaker though. Thank you so much!!
