Located exactly one mile from Silver Lake Sand Dunes entrance and a half mile to the ORV Welcome Center. *Please note trailering or towing is required to ORV access area for non-licensed vehicles. Large paved circular drive and gravel parking areas to accommodate trucks, trailers and all of your toys. Just a short walking distance to deeded access on Upper Silver Lake for swimming and a sandy beach. Boat launch access available upon request.

Recently updated, fully furnished home and bunk house sleeps 10 between the two.

In the main house, the master bedroom includes 1 queen bed, and upstairs in the loft you will find 2 full size beds with extra room for an air mattress. Also included is a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave and Keurig coffee pot, pots/pans, plates, cups and silverware. Also included is a dining room, living room, full bathroom, washer/dryer, charcoal grill, outdoor seating for 6, WIFI, smart TV and Sonos sound system.

The bunk house, separate from the main house, has one small bedroom with bunk beds. The top bunk is a twin bed with a full/double size bed below. This very cozy bunk house also has a full bathroom. The bunk house is located across the yard, approximately 40 feet from the main house, next to the garage and has a separate entrance with a keyed lock.

Amenities include A/C and heat via central air in cabin and wall unit A/C and space heater in bunk house.

*If you don't want to bring your own, sanitized bedding can be found in each bedroom.
*1 roll of paper towel and toilet paper are supplied to get you started!
*Bathroom linens provided.
*Laundry soap and fabric softener provided.
*camp chairs, charcoal and fire wood are not provided.

Annual Family get together at Silver Lake

Our Family enjoys a long weekend for our annual get together at Silver Lake. My wife and I stay in the cottage and our family stays at Sierra Sands. We get together at the cottage for meals and to just hang out. The cottage is clean and is well equipped for us.

Great location

This house was just perfect for a trip to the dunes, closely located, and with ample parking for large trailers. It was perfect for our family of four and had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

Family Vacation 2023

We go to Silver lake every year to celebrate our sons birthday. It was a beautiful and clean property. It was easy to get a hold of the owner with any issues and quick response. We were very happy with the accommodations. We would stay there again.

Family time

We had a wonderful time. Pleasantly surprised with all the kitchen items, first time that I didn't need to use things that I brought with us. Enjoyed the comfort, cleanliness, and the outdoor space. The neighbors were very friendly and the neighborhood was close to many activities that we enjoyed! Will definitely be back!!!

Just what we wanted

This is just what we were looking for. We’ve stayed in Silver Lakes for years but in the hotel. I really wanted a place we could cook and be more at home. The location was great. The neighborhood was quiet. The bunk house was a perfect place to shove our teens! Check in was easy. The property was clean and had all we needed. Would stay here again.

Annual Family Trip to Silver Lake

We have a large family that gets together for a long weekend at Silver Lake. We have been coming to the area for over 16 years. We enjoy walking the dunes, Mac Dune rides, and Crag Cruisers. Our family stays at Serra Sands Family Lodge and my wife and I rent a cottage were we stay. We use the cottage for meals and a place to hang out. This property fits our needs very well. It is clean, bright. Our family is getting older and it seems everyone brings there car. There is ample good parking area for all of us. We have rented other properties and this one is head and shoulders above the others.

Convenient, clean, & perfect neighborhood

From check in to check out we enjoyed our stay. Updated and clean cabin so close to everything for a great price! Adorable neighborhood and great outdoor layout for recreation after the dunes. Plenty of parking for our two trailers and 3 vehicles - and with a turn-around! I have two “could be improved” items but they are barely notable. 1. The bunkhouse is very tight. We couldn’t have anyone sleep on the top bunk due to the fan and there’s almost no room to walk around the bed in there, it’s mainly a bathroom with a bed in it. It worked for the teens to have their own space though! 2. The AC Nest thermostat is set to only work when it sees movement, so it would take hours for the house two regulate. Not sure if that setting can be changed, but having a Nest one is nice in itself 🙂 Thank you again! Your cousins are great and your cabin is beautiful!

Dune Fun!

My family’s stay at Four Pines was wonderful! The cabin is updated, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything needed. The cabin is in a great location and neighborhood. My daughter and her friend (both 15yrs old) stayed in the bunkhouse. My husband liked the paved circle drive with ample space for our truck, side-by-side, 4-wheeler and trailer. This cabin is a great pick for family fun! Pack toiletries for both bathrooms (shampoo, condition, soap).

We had a great time!

Quiet neighborhood! Great and fast communication with property manager. Close to town with out all the comotion. Nice neighborhood area to walk and let the kids ride their bikes in. Beach area is nice. Cottagw is adorable. And very well kept! Easy to relax into and make yourself at home!

Loved staying here made great memories with the family. Steak knives and instructions about the place for coming and going would have been nice just so we felt we did everything correctly but great location and fit our family well.

Great location

This is a great rental house and awesome location. Less than a 10 minute drive to all the local attractions. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials needed to cook for a family of eight for the whole week. Only negative things I have to say is that the check in process was a little confusing as the keys were not in the lockbox that was specified in the instructions. I had to call the property manager and figure out where an additional set of keys were. Also, we did not have the correct Wi-Fi network and password name for the first two days and had to clarify that with the property manager as well. Overall really great stay!

Great place - close to dunes, Silver Lake, and Lake Michigan

We had a great stay at this property! The house is well stocked and offers even more than the listing states. Beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. We enjoyed sitting out front on the deck in the mornings and relaxing on the comfy sofa at night. FYI - wifi log-in info is in the drawer by the cooktop. It took us awhile to find it. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location

Great neighborhood in a cozy setting. It was clean and was able to accommodate our group of family and friends including our neice and nephew which are 2 and under years of age. Had a good amount of parking for our toys and trailers and easy access to the dunes.
