The cabin was clean. The kitchen was well equipped and the location was convenient. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. We stay in cabins often in December for our anniversary and every other cabin weâve stayed in had Christmas decorations up. It was a little disappointing that there werenât any. I was surprised at the previous reviews as my experience wasnât as good. The cabin had such a strong odor of pine sol or whatever it was they cleaned with on top of a dirty vacuum or dog smell, even though itâs suppose to be no pets. It was cold so we couldnât open windows to air it out. It gave me a headache. The communication wasnât great. I messaged the host 3 times and my questions werenât answered and the 3rd message was regarding check in instructions and the response was I hope youâre enjoying your stay. (we werenât even there yet). They were automated responses. The tub upstairs barely had warm water and it drained so slow when taking a shower you stood in ankle high water. The downstairs has space heaters because it pretty cold down there but if you plug them in on the same circuit youâll blow the breaker. The front bedroom window was unlocked and open at the top because it couldnât be shut or locked properly when we arrived.
