Your Mountain Journey begins here! A genuine log cabin nestled on a secluded wooded cul-de-sac in the Nicoha Community is conveniently located just minutes from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The beautifully landscaped front yard will capture your heart upon arrival and with nearly an acre of forest surrounding you will enjoy the peace and tranquility of the wrap around porch all year round.

Your Space
The inviting double door entry takes you into the living room on the main floor where the stacked stone fireplace and soaring ceiling provide a cozy place to enjoy some conversation, a movie on the big screen TV, or just settle down with your favorite book. Through the living room enter the dining room and fully equipped kitchen with access to the wrap around porch. Several seating areas on the property include swings, benches and of course rocking chairs.
To the right of the main entry is the spacious master suite that boasts a King size bed, jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower and TV. Also downstairs two sofa sleepers (one twin, one queen), and in the loft a bunk bed with full-size mattresses, full bathroom and TV provide ample sleeping arrangements for up to 7 guests.

Monday through Saturday 8 AM to 6 PM via messenger only. No phone calls or texts.

Your Neighborhood
There are only three cabins in the secluded, wooded, cul-de-sac and only two other cabins on Skyhawk Ln. If you’re seeking peace and quiet you’ve found it at Mountain Journey.

Family stay!

We had a great time! Place was very clean, host was responsive, laid out the rules of checking in and checking out, good location! Water pressure was very good considering its well water. Cool stuff to do. Kids loved the pool table and hot tub. Wife loved the jacuzzi in the master bedroom.

This cabin is everything and more! My fiance and I had one of the most memorable trips yet, this cabin had a lot to do with it! It’s extremely clean and pictures match the reality. It’s secluded but close enough to everything making the trip that much better! 10/10 would stay again!

Cozy Cabin Retreat

Mountain Journey was a cute and cozy cabin perfect, for our family getaway. The cabin was clean and well cared for, and had everything we needed, allowing us to have a stress free time. Nice amenities. The hot tub and arcade were big hits with everyone. I would definitely book another stay at this location.

Amazing Cabin

My family and I took a quick trip on our way to North Carolina. Decided to book last minute for a 3 night stay. My only wish is that we could have stayed longer. The cabin was exactly as pictured. Very cozy and perfect for a single family. The location is amazing, close to everything worth visiting in the area. Our favorite attraction was the Terry Evanswood magic show! It’s a short drive from the cabin. The secluded feel was absolutely ideal. The cabin was extremely clean as if no one had been there before us. Truly a 5 star experience. Thank you Arlene!

Absolutely Perfect!!!

Our family had the best vacation at this Cabin! Away from all of the noise but not too far from everything we wanted to go do. The owners were above & beyond helpful with anything at all. We will definitely be staying here again!

Ideal Location - would book again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mountain Journey. The location was absolutely perfect - so close to everything! The cabin was clean and on a beautiful property. Arlene communicated well and seemed to care that we have an ideal experience. Check-in was simple. Overall, we would definitely book this VRBO again!

Wonderful stay

We had the most wonderful stay at Mountain Journey. The host was very quick to respond and to welcome us to their property. It is very welcoming! And it is nestled in the mountains and close to so many things to do. As a military family it was a nice get away for us to be together but have space. Highly recommend!

Loved this cabin! Great for a get away whether it’s just a couple or with children.

This cabin has all the amenities and is close to town. Beautiful cabin with everything you need if you want to stay in too. Check in/out was easy. I would recommend 100 percent, and plan to return.

Wonderful cabin and area

This adorable cabin did not disappoint! It was everything the pictures showed and more. Checking in and out was simple. It was very clean and inviting. We enjoyed every aspect of the cabin and quiet neighborhood. The wildlife visitors added excitement to porch sitting. The pool table and hot tub were fun additives to the overall charm of this cabin.

Great Stay in a beautiful spot!

The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for a long weekend stay. Our 3 boys loved the upstairs bunk room with the pool table and arcade. The wrap around porch was very nice and fun with the swings and corn hole. The cabin was conveniently located to all of the Pigeon Forge attractions and Great Smoky Mountain National Park while also feeling off the beaten path and in the mountains.

Great trip

We loved staying at Mountain Journey. The cabin is lovely. Everything is nice and clean. There are lots of fun games on the property for the entire family. The hot tub is nice. The location is great! You feel like you’re secluded in the mountains, but you’re 15 minutes from anywhere in Pigeon Forge.
