I (61f) and my husband (72m) really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is comfortable, charming, and in a fabulous location. Itâs just a block or so from the St Michel Metro station which puts it in the middle of Paris. Having visited Paris many times, I chose the Loft precisely because of its location in the 6th arrondisement/Monnaie. It was worth getting in shape for the stairs! There is a boulangerie across the street, and a Carrefour Express around the corner for groceries. Restaurants and cafes are everywhere. We cooked a little and took advantage of both the dishwasher and the washing machine because we stayed just about two weeks. Though it is very small, we were pleased to find a shower in addition to a bathtub. If you can handle the four flights of stairs, I highly recommend staying in this lovely place.
The location was absolutely incredible and the host and the person who greeted us were so friendly. It was so nice to find a perfect place at such a great price, with hosts who were very patient with us as tourists. We will happily stay here again if we ever come back, and recommend it to anyone we know traveling in the area.
Excellent on all counts. Perfect communication with muchcare given to our arrival and getting in. Beautiful, homey place with tons of character. Great location.
We cannot praise this apartment enough! It had a wonderful warm style and comfort to within and a perfect location to explore Paris and further afield. If we have the opportunity to come to Paris again, this will be the first listing we look for to book.
The apartment was centrally located near restaurants, metro and shops. A little loud at night, but that may have been because our windows were left open. The apartment itself was a great space in a quiet building.
The apartment in the Latin quarter had easy access to transportation, cafes and shops. Started each morning with a treat from the boulangerie across the street and a latte from Malango down the block. Thomas made us feel welcome and his communication was excellent.
This loft is gorgeous, and very comfortable with everything you could possibly need. The location is brilliant too, although the stairs are quite challenging after a long day walking! If you are sleeping downstairs, I suggest you bring an eye mask, otherwise itâs just perfect.

Rustic Comfort in Latin Quarter
The perfect location for a stay in Paris. Close to almost everything you want to see. Plus shops and restaurants galore. We had a wonderful time. If I were a picky person I would say the apartment feels like a rustic lived in home not a modern rental at all but that gives it charm and we were satisfied Also the stairs to the loft are slippery in socks!!
This apartment felt like a true Parisian experience! Right in the heart of everything, easy access to a major metro station, a great little bakery right across the street for your morning croissant and baguette. The space was comfortable for me and my two kids, well equipped and great internet. Be aware of the 83 stairs from the street up to the 4th floor apartmentâŠgreat for working off all the cheese and crepes. And a few more quirky windy stairs up to the sleeping loft - they were no issue for us, but just something to be aware of. We had a great time and would definitely stay there again.
Stayed here on my honeymoon. The apartment was fantastic, very comfortable, HUGE for Paris, and in an amazing location. A couple blocks from the Siene, right across from the Louvre, couldn't be more convenient. Loved in unit washing machine, made our long trip much easier. The host was communicative and easy to get in touch with. Loved the in unit washing machine. Thank you again for the perfect stay!
We had a lovely time at Marie Laureâs home. It was very comfortable, sunny, with unique and beautiful aesthetics. We would love to stay there again. Thank you!!
A great location close to many restaurants, a Metro station, and Notre Dame. Beautifully decorated loft apartment full of artistic details gives a romantic, starving artist old Parisian feel. I liked climbing the stairs (no elevator) because it felt like living in Paris, not just visiting for a short while. With a bakery just down the street and a grocery store around the corner, it was easy to eat at home. With a convenient Metro station, we toured all over old Paris, and in February the crowds were not overwhelming. The owner was very responsive/accommodating, and the apartment neighbors were friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire trip!
If you want to enjoy Paris like a local, then this apartment is your place! It was so much more comfortable and enjoyable than a hotel. We loved all the shops and cafes nearby in the neighborhood, as well as the easy walking and public transportation access to the rest of the city.
I can recommend this accommodation wholeheartedly. Spacious, quiet, full of character and comfortable. Great books on the shelves in English, French and Japanese.
I don't normally write reviews but will make an exception in this case. The location is exceptional! Quiet street in my favorite part of Paris. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. Feels like home. 4th floor with no elevator but that's normal for apartments in Paris, and I like the exercise. The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen had everything I needed to occasionally prepare a meal. Very close to metro, bus, RER and evening walks along the Seine. Easy to get to CDG airport by RER and to Montparnasse train station for other parts of France. Would be hard to go back to hotels after staying at this place. Will stay here again!
