The property is located just off the road of State RT 50 in a quiet setting that offers plenty of relaxation for you and your guests.

Pine Lake Retreat sits on a 6 acre lake and is the perfect destination for you in Albany Ohio! You and your guests will be amazed with the lake view this vacation home offers from its multi-level large back decks. Relax and stargaze around a firepit, or watch an amazing sunrise. The 6-acre Lake offers some great fishing, canoeing or kayaking, and some much-needed rest and relaxation. Plenty of nature in the nature preserve from deer, fox, ducks and geese. Take a 45 minute drive from your vacation rental to visit Old Man’s Cave, Cedar Falls, Ash Cave, Rock House, Conkle’s Hollow, or Rock Bridge located in Hocking Hills State Park. No matter the season, you and your guests won’t be disappointed when visiting all the beauty Hocking Hills offers!

Pine Lake retreat is located 7 miles from Athens and Ohio University. Perfect for families wanting to spend time with their students studying at OU. The nearby State Park offers over thousands of acres to explore by hiking, off-highway vehicle riding, mountain biking, or horseback riding. Guests will want to visit Athens and Ohio University or Nelsonville’s Historic Square Arts District, Stuart’s Opera House, Hocking Valley Scenic Railway, or the Nelsonville Music Festival that is held every year at Hocking College. If guests venture 1 mile to Lake Snowden you can enjoy the waterpark with family and friends. Lake Hope State Park located in Zaleski State Forest. Guests can enjoy some fine dining at Lake Hope Lodge or a day of picnicking and swimming with family and friends.

We really enjoyed our stay! The kids loved the lake and had fun taking the canoe out. The guys enjoyed the fishing and the girls enjoyed staying cool inside. There were plenty of TV's and it was nice having a washing machine. The grounds were so pretty and we enjoyed our walks. It would have been to nice to have a large dining room table so we could all eat together and play games. Though it did have 2 dining tables so that was nice.

Our overall experience was good but the pictures on the website didn’t match the house, the outdoor hot tub wasn’t there, the deck looks a lot different in the pictures with tables and swings that don’t exist

Place was so relaxing. Our teens had a blast in the canoe and paddle boats. Everyone caught fish.

It was a relaxing getaway. Perfect for relaxation. Boating, fishing, grilling out on the deck overlooking the lake. It was great.

It is a great house! The outdoor space is phenomenal. We spent all of our time outside besides while it was raining. The only thing that I would say I had an issue with was the pond not being swimable. For the amount of money you pay it would be nice to swim in a clean pond/lake. The hot tub area also smelled like mold. But other than that it was very peaceful and a nice getaway for 3 nights to enjoy with my family!! I would definitely go back!
