Maybe the experience was so poor due to our unique circumstance. We were staying in Monaco for a week, but decided to do a 1-day overnight trip to Paris. We has a handicap senior and 2 children under 10. We traveled by train, so we didn't have a car. We explained this to the host. It was dark and cold and it took forever to find the box to get the key. Instructions were poor. The bathroom had mold. The towels were stained, small and thin. There were no face towels. There was no adequate linen for the children to sleep on the futon. It didnt even cover the bed. We had to use our scarves to cover their feet. There was open, old bread left in the kitchen. We were told we would be charged if we used too much electricity. How would we know what is too much? It was stressful to access the property, especially at night in a sketchy neighborhood. Nothing within walking to grab food...especially late.
