Located in prestigious Kiahuna Golf Village in Poipu, Kiahuna Paradise is only a 5 min. drive to some of the world's most beautiful beaches and golf courses. This property is located within a beautiful and private residential area where you will have access to all of what Poipu has to offer.

Kiahuna Paradise is an elegant, custom-built, 2,164 sq. foot home featuring large rooms throughout. You will enjoy brand new air conditioning, a 65" LG OLED TV, a full futon couch, and modern touches throughout to make your stay as memorable as possible.

The owners have left this home in mint condition so you can enjoy this beautiful custom-built 3 bedrooms 3 bath home with privacy and comfort. Ideal floor plan encourages outdoor living with an expansive lanai, sun baked swimming pool, private backyard, brand new BBQ grill, and much more. With its large single story floor plan, this home is the ideal setting for your vacation!

You will be able to enjoy home cooked meals at this location as it is well equipped and offers everything you would need. It includes modern kitchen appliances such as; blender, toaster oven, two microwaves, air fryer, coffee maker, full kitchen, and ample cookware. It has a recently installed LG double oven to make home cooked meals for you and your friends & family.

Solar pool heating has been upgraded and includes three different types of solar; solar water heating, 28 photovoltaic panels, also 8 panels for the swimming pool for an excellent heated pool experience that many families enjoy.

Free mainland long distance/fax/wireless Internet. This property has a printer if you intend on working while you stay there and require printing services.

Well maintained and presented home. Easy access to activities in the Poipu area. Heated in ground pool was a bonus at the end of the day and having AC available.Pool was especially appreciated by my 8-year-old grandsons.

Great Location

This home is in a beautiful neighborhood near Poipu Beach. We enjoyed the open layout of the home with views from most of the living space to the gorgeous pool and backyard! The home is a great location near shopping, the beach and the town of Koloa.We have stayed here 3 times and look forward to coming back again.

Amazing Kauai Property

We absolutely loved our stay here! To come home after a day of hiking or beach and have the beautiful backyard and private pool was a dream. The house was very clean and had a great kitchen for cooking. We cooked every night. The host was wonderful with his communication and very hospitable. I would highly recommend this for a family or group of friends!

Fantastic month

What a wonderful home to stay in for a month! The location, the backyard and the comfort of this house were all exactly what we wanted and had hoped for. We had everything we needed for fun and relaxation. Michael is the best host; he was exceptionally accommodating even with earlier Covid issues. We are so thankful we found this place.

The pool was great. There are slippers in the garage to use to walk around the deck. Tradewinds were not blowing, so the AC came in handy. House was clean and plenty of space.

Great place to relax and enjoy Kauai

We had a great time. The home was clean, comfortable, well equipped. The kids loved being able to go into the pool after a long day at the beach. The outdoor shower was a big bonus for all. Adults loved it too! We did a lot of cooking of meals and we had everything we needed to do that. It was just a short drive to the beaches we wanted to use. Grandkids did some beginning surfing with Dad's help. We all loved it.

The pool was our favorite part of the home , we enjoyed hanging in the pool w drinks and bbq ! The house offers many pool and sand toys w ice chest and chairs ... made for a perfect stay!

Let down

The property and neighborhood was nice but all communications with the property manage were brash and rude. She yelled at me as soon as I answered the phone both times. We needed a house with a working washing machine and when we told the property manager that it was broken, they sent a handyman to "fix it" which was draining it and unplugging the machine, so I had to hike in sweaty dirty clothes because it was not fixed during our stay. I voiced the need for the washing machine to be in working condition to the manger and nothing was done to remedy the fact that the machine was broken.

Kiahuna Paradise met all the needs of our 5 adult, 3 children family gathering.

Kiahuna Paradise was accurately pictured and described on the vrbo web site. The large living/dining room space made it comfortable for all 8 of us to hang out, watch tv, and dine together at the table. The kitchen was small, but stocked with appliances, utensils, tableware enough to accommodate eating multiple meals. The gas bar-b-que was used nightly. The highlight of the house was the private backyard and pool which we all enjoyed, including the local chickens. The friendly gardener came and left the yard trimmed and racked, offering us mangos from his yard which were delicious. The bedrooms were spacious enough to accommodate both sets of parents with the children on the floor using the extra bedding provided. Beach & pool toys were available in the garage. For our multi-generational family, this was a great place to stay.

The house was very clean, the rooms are very spacious, and the beds are really comfortable. Air conditioning works great. Netflix on the TV...yes! There were sand toys available and plenty of towels. We really appreciated the communication beforehand, and also the ease of checking into and out of the property. The only recommendation I would have for the property is to perhaps make the rock area around the pool a bit smoother... it's really rough on the feet! But other than that, it was just great and we'd come back in a heart beat. Thank you!

great place, great location in Poipu / Koloa

This is a wonderful place. Its spacious, well equipped with kitchen stuff, beach stuff, and TVs. We stayed for 11 days with our 11 month old grandson so the pool was terrific. The house has excellent air-conditioning and is located in a quiet neighborhood. We had a lot of meals on the pool deck. We took early morning walks to listen to bird life. The White Rumped Sharma has incredible songs. The place is located near all the great Poipu beaches- a 5-15 minute drive depending on the beach. ( Check out Maha Ulepu) There are restaurants nearby and great ice cream and the town of Koloa has grocery stores and great places to eat. The only notable downside is that the pool deck is covered with small pebbles that are glued to an underneath surface. Its not comfortable to walk on and we read this in prior reviews. So we brought pool shoes and flip flops and that solved the problem. The home owner, Mike, was very responsive to our questions-- always available. I would return to this house without hesitation.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is ideal. Perfect spot in Poipu, easy to explore multiple locations, close to multiple grocers, restaurants, koloa. Safe neighborhood and easy in/out. The Athletic Club access is a great perk as they have awesome facilities for those who need a gym. The house itself has a good layout. None of the bathrooms are ensuite, but there is one for each room. One bathroom is opposite side of the house near garage and laundry, but we were only two families. the laundry machines were excellent. If you're looking for any kind of luxury, look elsewhere. While the house was clean, furnishings and everything else are old, and worn. It does have everything you will need, but in the kitchen for example, kind of haphazardly organized, sometimes multiple or duplicates of the same thing. In a way, it doesn't feel like a rental. The pool was great. The heat wasn't turned on when we arrived, so by time staff came and did so (very responsively) it took another day to heat up, but was clean and very nice. As others have commented, the surface around the pool has worn down its surfacing, so the rocks are uncomfortable to walk on, but they do have sandals to use. The rest of the yard and landscaping are nice and peaceful with good privacy. Overall, compared to other listings in the area, pricing is fair for what you get, even if it seems high. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Overall a pleasant stay

I contacted property management numerous times regarding hot water or lack there of. It would be either scalding or not any at all. The Saturday after arrival we contacted management and a maintenance man came to the house saying it was a timer issue but we would have hot water because at that point we had none. Then we went to no hot water. Contacted them again. We were not at the home but know the maintenance manager had returned. It was initially scalding and then went to again....cold. The next day I contacted management and she came to the house immediately which was appreciated and then went on to s text she read from her phone via the maintenance manager how it is a large house and it will take a while. Start the faucets in the main bath where we were stating before everyone else showers. While she was there it was hot in our bathroom. That was around 2pm. Only I showered and then we again were left without hot water. It was hit or miss the entire week but we realized they were never going to fix it. Two friends showered elsewhere and myself and 2 others had to plan when to shower at different times so we could at least have lukewarm water and not ice cold. We were offered an early check in but when we arrived the cleaning staff was there and we startled them. We then were offered a later check out which we appreciated but that too was not communicated to the cleaning staff brought their kids to swim and we again surprised them.

Falls Short

My family stayed there January 4th-7th, 2023. Five adults and one teenager. The positives were that the house is very spacious and is in an ideal location. It is fully equipped with everything you need. When this house was built most likely in in the late 80’s early 90’s it was definitely state of the art. However, not much has been done to the house since it was built. Outside of the appliances, most things are very outdated such as the bathrooms, cabinets, curtains, carpets, lighting, and furniture. Our stay was less than ideal. We had no hot water the first two days. The manager said it was because the solar water heater was not producing enough heat because it had been overcast for several days. This is probably not a feature you’d want to have on a vacation rental. Also, because of the overcast the pool was not heated. The garage door also didn’t work. The air conditioning in the master bedroom did not work, we were lucky that the nights were fairly cool. Also, there is no remote to turn on the TV in the master bedroom. It would be very strained to fit eight adults in the home, because there is no pull out bed like they advertise, but there is a futon in one of the bedrooms the folds into a double. Overall, I would have given 1-star, but the manager did send maintenance out for the hot water and garage door, hence the 2-star review. We won’t be back.

Dated but convenient

First the pros! The home is a phenominal floor plan with bedrooms down one wing and all the living areas opposite. We were with our two daughters, their husbands, and two grand babies. The bedrooms were really large all with air conditioning units that worked exceptionally well. The beds were all very comfortable but to be honest, the foam overlays were almost too squishy. The mattresses were very comfortable on their own. The kitchen was well stocked, and the laundry location and garage were wonderful to have. Now the cons. The pool was absolutely freezing!! I had even inquired beforehand. We paid so much more for a house with a pool for specifically the babies to use and they were miserable. We ended up going to Walmart and buying and blowing up a pool and filling it with warm water every day. There were several previous comments made about the surface being rough around the pool and it really is. We were told it had been fixed but not even close. There was a neighbor behind this house that acts like Big Brother. She reports each and every violation. We welcomed our kids from a late flight inside our home at 12:30am but without realizing it we had not closed one window and we were reminded at 8 the next morning about the noise restrictions. We had no music going, just quiet conversation while we got the 12 month ready for bed. On New Years we set off a small string of firecrackers at 9:10 pm in the yard (because many if the other neighbors were doing the same thing until much later) that lasted 3 minutes and 4 seconds because we have it recorded. By 9 am we received yet another call about our behaviour. We respect that this is a residential neighbourhood and people are working and that there are rules for a reason but in both of the scenarios it was ridiculous!!! One other thing that we had to address was that the H2O tank had been set to only provide hot water for a small window each morning. We had to shower in ice cold showers for the first 3.days until we changed the setting. To pay as much as we paid, to have hot water restricted is unacceptable. We went out and bought two high end beach chairs and beach toys as there were only 4 ratty old chairs that were rusty and uncomfortable of which one broke the first day. At the very least I think an inventory of 6 Tommy Bahama chairs a few straw beach matts and some pool toys would and should be a standard that owner & Garden Island Rentals should make sure that each family has.

excellent VRBO - great location & fun

We stayed here with 2 families with kids ranging from 7-17. They layout of the house, pool, size, bedding, bathrooms, etc. worked really well for our group. We had everything we needed. The finishes in the house are a little dated, but everything was clean. The location works really well and we felt very safe. I would stay here again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of four had a great stay. The house location was great to access restaurants and beaches. The house was as advertised and we really enjoyed the pool.
