When the river opens up, our playground starts, with your choice of craft, boat, canoe, kayak or paddle board. This is an amazing oasis with solitude in the middle of a magnificent neighborhood! It's not unusual for manatees, dolphin, snook, tarpon, mangrove snappers and countless other species to swim right along your dock! Bald Eagles perch nearby, keeping an eye out for an easy fish lunch.

Once your boat is up to speed, Sanibel Island beckons just 20 minutes away or 30 min by car. There, you can enjoy beautiful beaches, the Sanibel lighthouse and some of the best shelling in the world. Get there early and you'll find the shells that have become exposed from the previous tide, truly amazing finds. Bring the beach chairs, cooler and umbrella that we have waiting for you to set up a relaxing day at the beach! Ding Darling National Wildlife Preserve is there for exploring nature. On the "near side" of Sanibel, Ding Darling has an amazing display of waterfowl and biodiversity. Keep traveling north and you'll find more adventures awaiting on Captiva Island and beyond!

There are many things to do in our area. Great restaurants include Cuban, Peruvian, Indian cuisines, and of course local seafood at many places. The nightlife in South Cape Coral is fantastic with live music and dancing, a rum distillery to tour and breweries. Sports enthusiasts can go to the Boston Red Socks and Minnesota Twins spring training baseball only 20 minutes away. Golf Digest reports that there are 88 golf courses in a 15 mile radius of the home. Take a charter fishing trip off shore or fish in-shore for tarpon, snook, redfish, sharks and other species. Local catches include a 612 pound Swordfish and an eight foot, 700 pound grouper. For those who like to shop, the Miromar Outlet mall is 15 miles away with over 140 stores catering to every style. For a wild day trip, take the high speed catamaran to Key West. There are ten fruit farms for you to pick oranges, mangoes, and other tropical fruits.
