While we’re sorry the property did not meet all of your expectations, we would like to provide some context and clarification for future guests. No issue with the dishwasher was reported to us at any point during the stay, so we were never given an opportunity to inspect or address it. The game room/sunroom is advertised and photographed with a pool table; a television in that room is not advertised or shown in our listing. Likewise, a fire pit is not listed or advertised as an amenity. Regarding the beds, the sleeping arrangements are also clearly described and pictured in the listing. The home has two king-size beds—one upstairs and one downstairs—as well as the additional sleeping arrangements shown and described in the listing, including the queen-size bunk bed. We’re therefore unsure why the king-size beds were considered insufficient, as guests receive the bed sizes and sleeping configuration advertised prior to booking. This is a mountain cabin, and the property has a gravel driveway, which is common for mountain accommodations. The home’s amenities, layout and views are represented in the listing photos and description. We also appreciate that, despite the number of smaller concerns mentioned in this review, there were no complaints regarding the cleanliness or condition of the home upon arrival. We are sorry to hear that the cleanliness was below our own standards and have spoken to the cleaning company and maintenance company to be sure to uphold quality standards of cleaning. We understand the importance of maintaining/cleaning a short term rental and at times we do check in with the manager of both companies so that things don’t get missed. We have sent a handyman to check the property monthly since the beginning of the year as to continually be sure that nothing is missed in regards to maintenance. We do feel that as a personal use cabin we are comfortable offering this property to our future guests and do expect better results.
