Along with a lovely, high end condominium community, Sunset Kahili offers a sparkling clean pool and very highly maintained property. You will find that this beautifully decorated 1 bdrm/1 bath condo is open, spacious, and bright.  Breezy trade-winds flow through the unit to keep you cool, and a portable Air Conditioning Unit has been added for your comfort. You will appreciate the extreme attention that has been paid to every detail. You can relax while you dine in style on the large ocean view lanai, and laze away the hours while whale and dolphin watching.

We love staying here when we come to Kauai. The condo is clean and the management team is so friendly and responsive. It’s great having a fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer and reserved parking spot. The view from the patio is so beautiful. We had breakfast out in the patio every morning. We will be coming back next year! Thank you!

Truly Paradise

When I opened the door to our condo, I felt all my tensions wash away. There was a 180' vista of the ocean, beach & Mountains w/ rainbows. I saw a whale & sea turtles, all from the Lanai. Every room had a view and the spaciousness & decor just added to Aloha feeling. We loved it here & will return for sure!

Great location & views

Location & views were fantastic-we even spied some humpback whales just off the shore. The unit was updated nicely. Others staying that we came across were friendly. As others have mentioned, no AC—with the windows open and fans on, I was comfortable but my husband had trouble sleeping in the warmer temps. Overall, I would stay here again.

This was a wonderful condo. It had everything. The sunsets every night we’re such a gift. I saw two green flashes here which is a memory for sure. Shopping and restaurants are minutes away. If I would suggest one thing it would be a pair of binoculars so I could see the whales better.

Overall our stay was nice. The location is great for the beaches and nearby shopping etc etc. The only issue that wasn’t completely clear was the cooling of the condo. The listing does indicate there is AC. However, the unit is located in the bedroom, and only sufficient for cooling the bedroom, if the windows and doors are kept shut. It cannot cool the entire condo. The cross-breeze through the condo was great most of the time, but if you are someone who prefers to have a cool place to relax, you may want to book something with central AC if at all possible. Otherwise the condo stays quite warm, even into the evening, despite having all windows/doors open to allow for the breeze. That being said, I realize very few places have central AC, but it is something that seemed fair to let people know so they are not taken off guardOtherwise, it is furnished comfortably, the kitchen had everything we needed and it was nice having such a close drive to the beaches and old Kƍloa town. Also, the unit has all the beach chairs, umbrellas and even snorkeling gear you could possibly need for a nice Hawaiian vacation. Overall we had a positive stay

Wonderful stay in a wonderful unit

We have stayed in many different units at this condo, and this is by far the best appointed. Everything you could ask for in terms of amenities and supplies, with an overabundance of beach stuff, including extra chairs umbrellas and tons of snorkeling gear . Great communication from managing aging, who took the trouble to check in the day after we arrived to make sure everything was okay. This unit also has an air conditioner, which is rare in this building. We didn't need to use it, but during the summer months it's a great thing to have. Wonderful renovation, the addition of a door from the living area to the bathroom is a major asset, especially if someone is staying on the couch

Quiet and relaxing

The only complaints we have are the rules around quiet time (8 p.m.). We also would have hoped for at least one cleaning since we were there for two weeks. The chemicals in the pool gave us both a rash. Otherwise, newly remodeled and picture perfect view! We went at the perfect time where sea turtles and monk seals were hanging on the beach. Very cool. The falls, canyon and backcountry zip lining were amazing!!!

We spent a week here and have nothing but good things to say about the unit and Sunset Kahili in general. The location could not be more perfect - walkable to Poipu Beach, and just a short distance to Koloa. The unit was plenty of space for 3 adults with large suitcases. We especially appreciated the in-unit laundry, dedicated parking spot, beach supplies, and community pool. We made great use of the lanai, esp. on evenings where we ordered dinner for takeout from local favorites like Da Crack, Chalupas (try the blackened ono tacos!!), or Living Foods. What an amazing view in an amazing location!! Mahalo nui loa for your hospitality- we would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

Exactly what we needed

I really want to write a bad review because I want this place to myself! My wife and I loved it! Exactly what we needed. It was quiet, relaxing with no screaming kids at the pool. (Love kids just needed some chill time). This place is geared more toward older couples with the best sunset on the Island! We booked next years trip before we even left. The home was great, comfortable and the property manager couldnt have been better or more responsive. Not much room for improvement. A5 star all the way!! See ya next year!

Property manager sent arrival instructions to junk mailbox, so we expecting an on-site manager to give us key. We were lucky to speak to someone who helped resend the key code. However had we arrived an hour later than we did, we would have been sleeping in the car. Other phone calls and emails about departure were unanswered. The view from balcony at sunset is wonderful.

Nice View, Beautiful Apartment, watch out for Dennis the complex manager.

Tina and her property managing company were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The apartment is beautiful, clean and freshly remodeled. The one bedroom is only separated with a sliding door covered thinly, and does not provide a quite space if the TV is on in n the other room. The views are gorgeous from the apartment and is only a short walk to poipu beach to watch turtles come to shore at dusk. Watch out for the manager of the actual property at Kahili Sunset (Dennis), He is very aggressive if any of the rules posted are violated in any way. Even if your sitting on the lanai having coffee at 7:30am and talking. He is very good at yelling and scaring a family.

Love the place and location, it was amazing!!

The place itself was beautiful even better than the pictures. The location was spectacular you could walk to so many things and the sunsets were breathtaking. Dream vacations was also kind and very responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with one catch. The place is very strict on noise. We got a complaint because we were talking on the balcony at 7:30am and were asked to not come outside till 9am even though the rules are 8am-10pm. It was our first day we were weren’t aware of the quiet hours. Our friends in another condo got a complaint at 8:30pm even though they were inside their condo playing a board game. Once we figured out to keep our doors shut and not go out early we had no more complaints. I would still come back because it was manageable and worth it.
