Ceci est un merveilleux studio de l'efficacité qui est attaché par un mur à belle maison de plage et le jardin. Il est séparé et privé. Il est un merveilleux rendez-vous loin surtout pour les deux, mais accueille les enfants sur un matelas d'air. Il est très grand et dispose d'un coin salon ainsi. Il dispose d'une entrée privée de la zone de stationnement. Il dispose d'un micro-ondes, petit réfrigérateur, four grille-pain et la capacité de faire de petits repas. Il est dans le même emplacement que VRBO # 119479 et peut être loué en combinaison ou séparément. Cela ne veut pas un lieu de fête. Ceci est un quartier calme et nous voulons que cela continue. Le bruit est pas acceptable à toute heure. Il est un merveilleux endroit où séjourner pour une plage sortir mais certainement pas un lieu de fête.

Cozy and close to the beach!

Open floor plan apartment with plenty of windows for great sun exposure. A balcony and a very private deck space were wonderful! Everything needed in the kitchen and a roomy bathroom shower. Easy access to washer and dryer plus storage for our bikes. Your own parking space-a rarity in Hermosa! But best of all 1 1/2 easy blocks to the Strand!

Our stay here was great! Would definitely recommend. Great location, bed, shower and owner. Can walk everywhere. Plenty of restaurants, bars, shops to visit. Too many to even to list. You will enjoy!

Perfect Get-away

Our daughter's high school softball team traveled to Torrance, CA to play in a tournament, so my husband and I decided to treat ourselves to a beach get-away at the same time. And it certainly was a treat! We spent 3 nights in the quiet studio just a 2-minute walk from The Strand and the beach! The house is quiet, clean and has plenty of natural light. We enjoyed the fireplace, and the huge walk-in shower/bathroom. We never turned the TV on because we didn't want to break the beautiful silence! We enjoyed patio eating at Martha's, and Bottled Inn, we frequented The Green Store, as well as other restaurants, shops, and Hermosa Beach Pier--all within walking distance. We took advantage of the bikes that are available, riding down to Redondo Beach (and beyond) several times. We also enjoyed just sitting in Jackie's beautiful backyard soaking up the sun and relaxing. We rented a car because we needed to get around to the different softball fields, so having a parking space was a bonus too. However, it is a short drive from LAX, and if your goal is to relax, you might not even need a car. Jackie is friendly and helpful, and I highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to get away! I am already trying to figure out when I can return.

CLOSE TO THE BEACH!!

Sweet, roomy, very clean studio apartment with private entrance very close to Hermosa Beach, a convenience store and restaurants. It is a short block to the beach and the "STRAND" which is the beach walk and bike path. There is a lovely little sitting area just outside the apartment. The little kitchen area was well stocked with dishes. The bathroom was huge with a separate toilet room, had two sinks with lots of counter space which was helpful for rinsing dishes as well as getting ready in the mornings, very large walk in shower and a separate tub. We ate breakfast at Brothers Burritos (popular place and for good reason) and Martha's which was great and right near the beach, great coffee and pastry at Java Man, and had a lovely Italian dinner Buona Vita Italiano, where the staff and service was super friendly and the food was excellent. We enjoyed walking the Strand and the Piers at Hermosa Beach, and hope to return. This place is super convenient to the beach, only one short block and a few extra steps away. We did not need/rent a car, as we were happy to stay in this lovely area. Jackie was very responsive. We definitely recommend this place for a relaxing beach getaway.

Perfect Location and Studio

My husband and I stayed here and it was the perfect studio and location. The studio has everything. Very clean, comfy bed(a huge plus), large bathroom, well equipped mini kitchen, and a nice outside sitting area to soak up the sun. Jackie provides a parking space which is a big plus. Fantastic location! A block away is Martha's restaurant and just a bit further is the beach. We enjoyed walks to Hermosa Beach Pier, Pier Avenue, Manhattan Beach Pier and the Comedy Club. Enjoyed it all!

love this place!!

I've stayed in the studio more than once. It's clean, cozy and convenient. The tub is huge, the bathroom is immense and bed is enormous. The fireplace is romantic and I never want to leave this studio. I ride the bikes that are provided everywhere, I don't even rent a car. The green market is a block away and restaurants are close by-I love everything about this location and space. 5 plus stars!!!!

Perfect Place to Stay in Hermosa Beach

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights. Location was perfect! Just a short walk to the Strand and restaurants. The patio was perfect for having coffee in the morning. You had your own parking spot, wonderful walk-in-shower, and a mini kitchen, washer and dryer, bikes and beach chairs. Close to a convenience store and a great breakfast spot. Jackie was very helpful. We highly recommend this property and will being staying there again on our next visit.

The perfect place to enjoy all that the South Bay offers. MY wife and I have stayed here on numerous trips to see family and we love it. Jackie has provided just about everything needed to have a perfect stay. Your own parking spot. A mini kitchen. Great bath with walk-in shower Laundry Beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes Two minutes to beach.....WALKING! Two minutes to Marthas restaraunt. Two minutes to the handy convenience store. In short, just a wonderful place to be.

Perfect location with Privacy and Convenience

My kids and I spent 2 weeks at this property while my daughter played in several beach volleyball tournaments. The location was perfect! We enjoyed everything; breakfasts on the beautiful patio, using the bikes Jackie provides to explore Hermosa and Manhattan beaches, the short walks to the beach to watch the sunsets, and being so close to the competitive volleyball courts that we could head inside for a refreshing break if needed. We felt very safe and very welcomed at this property and would HIGHLY recommend it!

Great location with all the amenities you could want

This property was incredible! Great location, comfy king size bed, beautiful bathroom with bath and walk-in shower, bikes, beach chairs, and beach umbrellas. The studio was extremely clean and Jackie was very responsive and accommodating. Overall, it was an amazing stay and I will definitely be coming back to visit whenever I can.

Perfect location

This property was amazing! My daughter, niece and myself stayed for 3 nights. We were visiting to play in the Volleyball Junior Olympics and absolutely loved this location. We were only one block from the beach which was so convenient for us to walk. The property was extremely clean with a super comfortable bed and beautiful large bathroom. It was well stocked with all the comforts of home as well as having access to bikes, beach chairs, beach towels and umbrellas! We would highly recommend this location and are planning on coming back next year!

The best place to stay at Hermosa Beach

My husband and I spent 8 nights in this wonderful apartment, and loved every minute of it. First of all - the location is fantastic, just two blocks from beautiful Hermosa Beach. The studio itself is just lovely. Just a great space with a wonderfully comfortable bed, a huge bathroom with two sinks, a bath, and a big shower. The little kitchenette is perfect if you want to make your own breakfast or lunch. The parking space and use of the washer/dryer and bikes are just added bonuses on what is truly a great place to stay. Jackie - thank you so much for all your help and flexibility during our stay. It was wonderful to meet you and we can't wait to return.

Perfect Hideaway

A perfect place to spend some quiet, relaxing time. When the larger cottage is unavailable my wife and I have stayed in this one room hideaway and have been very pleased with it. A big comfortable bed, large T V, microwave and coffee maker make it a great place to kick back and relax after a busy day. The large bathroom just makes it that much better.

Tight crib

This studio was unreal. Huge master bedroom with fireplace and huge flat screen. The bathroom ridic! Stand up glass shower and adjacent tub -clean-bright-beautiful. The best part was I needed no car, I was a block from the beach and newly refurbished Green market for any incidentals I needed. Also, I was close to my favorite breakfast joint ! I cruised the strand every morning on the cruisers supplied and plenty of beach chairs etc. all in all, I've been coming to Hermosa for 30 years to visit family and this latest time was the best! Perfect for one-two people. Enjoy .

Quiet,convenient and relaxing

My husband and I loved this studio.Big,bright bathroom,comfy bed and v clean.All beach gear and bikes available to borrow from friendly,helpful host Jackie. Nice garden with bistro table to enjoy breakfast,wine or quiet evening meal. Great breakfast place and Italian restaurant around the corner.Beach and The Strand just minutes walk away. Did not to rent a car.Taxi from aero,buses or bikes.Easy. Will definitely return.

Perfect place!

Staying in this SPACIOUS studio apartment, so close to the beach, was the perfect place for my daughter's and my getaway! It had everything we needed (the two sinks in the spacious bathroom were a huge plus for us), and the setting and surroundings were lovely! We stayed for five nights--a wonderful "home" for us--we were able to walk everywhere--and had easy access to highways when we wanted to explore further by car (e.g., Getty Museum, Santa Monica...) The rental also includes parking for a car, washer and dryer if needed, and bikes for use. Jackie, the owner, is very accessible (respects your privacy, but is there if you need her), helpful, and very easy to work with. I highly recommend. We will be back. P.S. (Take another look at the posted pictures of this studio and its environs--when we arrived, my daughter kept saying, "The pictures don't do it justice!")

True Beach Hideaway

This cozy and spotless studio was wonderful. It was decorated to perfection with a king sized bed, huge bathroom with all the lovely soaps and towels, a little kitchenette and a wonderful view from the doorway of bouganvillea blooming all around. After a long plane ride, we arrived ready for dinner and ate across the street at an super Italian restaurant. Breakfast at Martha's, also across the street, was a morning treat. It's just so private, quiet and relaxing, the owner thought of everything to make it such a splendid getaway.

Serene gem

I just spent 3 nights at Jackie's beautiful one bedroom and it was a perfect getaway. One block from the beach so close enough to go back and forth, but far enough to be quiet. The flower surrounded patio was delightful for morning coffee and the spotless, well appointed room was so inviting and comfortable. The King size comfortable bed and the big screen TV above the beautiful fireplace was perfect for relaxing. Jackie was a wonderful hosesst and paid attention to every detail. Next time, I will use the bikes! I will definitely stay here every time I come to visit my Sons. The location was close enough to walk right along the strand to the Hermosa pier, Martha's fabulous breakfast and shops. One certainly does not need a car if they plan on staying in the area. I didn't have a car, but my Son did, so he could park in the designated parking space when he came to visit. I highly recommend Jackie's beautiful getaway! Christy Voss

A Homecoming

My Husband grew up in the South Bay area,in fact he is a North Torrance High Grad,Class of 1973. In his high school days he hung out at 24th street which is a couple blocks away from this property,so he knew the exact location. We were celebrating our 1st year of Marriage and his Birthday too. We appreciated the parking it was a "HUGE" plus as we rarely used the car,we rode our bikes most of the time.When we walked through the garden to get to our room we were impressed, the bathroom was the best,so big,we each had our own sinks,the shower was built for two,yes we saved alot of water,(WINK). Coming from Arizona the A/C was never used, we enjoyed the cool ocean breeze and slept with the skyklight and screen door open.The bed was huge,and very comfy,the skyline was so big,we could see the full moon,the studio had all your you could need,Jackie thought of "EVERYTHING". We had breakfast at Martha's almost everyday which was really good,the restaurant was very friendly and we got to know a few of the locals during our stay. My Husband and I walked the strand a couple of nights, all the way to the Hermosa Beach Pier,it was a Full Moon during our stay,which made it even better. When we got back from our walks,it was like returning to a serene haven of trees, flowers our quiet place,My Husband's Son/Daugther in-law and Grandsons came on Saturday, Sept.1st to celerbrate his Birthday,they were very welcomed by Jackie,they too were very impressed with the unit, she also had all the stuff you need to play on the beach,there is a "VERY" good chance we will be coming back,AGAIN and AGAIN

quiet place

Very cute little place. Start with the good: excellent proximity to the beach, fantastic restaurant (Martha's) a block away, and very quiet neighborhood. The bathroom is amazing, even though there was a sign saying "no baths after 9pm" (for whatever ridiculous reason - the water shortage isn't different at different times of day). End with the not-so-good: the patio is very small - big enough to sit for a cocktail if you're not moving in any direction, but the hard part was the inside temperature of the studio. While California was a beautiful 70 degrees the whole time we were there, the studio was 85 degrees inside unless the door was open - and you can't use the air conditioning until evening, when it's too little too late. If it's warm, you'll need to just leave the glass door open and hope you don't get robbed, because it's too hot - the studio has no windows, plus it has two skylights that just concentrate heat inside. Couples are set - if you have more than two people, stay at the other property upstairs.

Please read our other reviews that tell the real story of this wonderful beach studio. There are so many perks to our location as noted in the above review but our large, hot-tub size bathtub does cause the plumbing to rumble which is disturbing to other guests late at night so we ask that the bath tub be used before 9pm. Showers are fine, anytime. We do have an air conditioner. Here at the beach most homes do not have air conditioning as there is really no need for it. There are about 5 days a year that it is nice to have one so we have it there for just such a time. We have had guests who take advantage of that and leave it on day and night. We ask you to turn it off when not in the room, which is common sense for most people but not for everyone. There are several windows to the outdoors onto a beautiful garden and an entire backyard garden that is available for use. The skylight has a remote control that opens the blinds and opens the skylight as well. It is not my intention to ruin anyone's vacation but most of my rules come from the few guests who are not considerate of our home. Whether it is using the tub late or leaving the air conditioner on or leaving children here unattended (at all hours of the day and night), these things are not acceptable and inconsiderate. None of the other reviewers have had these problems and most people are lovely guests. The studio is a really lovely place to stay.

Outstanding Experience, Excellent Rental, Highly Recommend

I stayed at this unit for a few days and didn't want to leave. The location is perfect for popping to the beach and it is centered between the pier and a favorite hangout of mine, the North End Bar. Everything you'll need is there and the unit is clean and well-appointed. Jackie was a pleasure to work with and she runs a tight ship. Thank you for hosting me for a few days.

Excellent Get-A-Way

We visit family in southern Calfornia about 3 times each year. They live in the Hermosa/Manhattan Beach area. After staying at the beach hotels/motels on other visits, we decided to try a VRBO rental. We were pleasantly surprised! This studio was the perfect size for a couple. This studio was all my husband and I needed to enjoy our California vacation/visit. The room had everything we needed from big comfy bed to huge bathroom, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, charcoal grill and ceiling fan for cooling. The only thing we needed to supply was ourselves, clothes, and toiletries. This studio is a short walk to the ocean where the sunsets were beautiful. It's also a short walk on the strand which is a paved oceanside walking path to either Manhattan or Hermosa Beach Piers for shopping, dining, and bike renting. There's an off street parking space included with your stay. Why would you want or need to drive anywhere? The parking space was wonderful for visitors.
