Neptune beach house

This completely remodeled 4-bedroom, 2 bath home is just four houses from the Stone Steps beach access in the charming Encinitas neighborhood of Leucadia. You will find everything you need to relax and play on the desirable Neptune Avenue, just a short distance from three Encinitas public beaches – 50’ from Stone Steps, ½ mile from Moonlight and ¾ mile from Beacon’s.

The house boasts four bedrooms set up to accommodate two families and up to nine guests. There are two king bedrooms, each containing a desk in case brief bouts of work surface while vacationing. Bathrobes are also provided for the adults for morning or afternoon comfort. The two other rooms are set up for children – one with a full/single bunkbed plus single trundle and the other with two singles. You will find a main living room in the front of the house adjacent to the kitchen and dining room and a secondary “family” room for movie watching and playing on the classic Ms. PacMan arcade machine in the back. Both living rooms have large flat screen TVs.

The beautifully landscaped front yard has been meticulously set up for evenings outside. A built-in gas BBQ and a table for 8 makes dining easy and comfortable. An outdoor sofa and chairs surround the outdoor firepit for after dinner conversations and relaxation. Built in landscaping lights run on a timer so the yard is softly lit to enhance your experience. Bistro lights can be added when more light is needed for your outdoor meals and family time.

In the garage you will find a plethora of outdoor and beach toys: bikes with helmets and bike locks, surf boards, boogie boards, wetsuits, beach chairs, a small backpack cooler, umbrellas, beach toys, and even a beach wagon for hauling it all to the beach. An outdoor shower in the front yard makes it easy to clean off after a fun day at the beach.

Additional features of this home include air conditioning, whole house water filtration with additional reverse osmosis filtration for drinking water in the kitchen, a gas fireplace in the living room, large HE washer/dryer in garage with additional smaller unit in the house, 500GB WIFI, beach towels, Tripp Trapp highchair, pack-n-play, weekly yard maintenance, kids toys and books and off street parking.

As part of the remodel process, eco-conscious decisions were made at every opportunity. You will find the bedding consists of organic sheets and hypoallergenic pillows. Green cleaning supplies are utilized and provided for rental use. We also ask renters of the home to responsibility recycle. The home contains an ecobee thermostat so that the heating and cooling is only utilized when needed. Water smart landscaping and non-VOC paint was also used to make this home clean and green.

The laid-back neighborhood provides for great running, walking and biking up and down the social street of Neptune, the activity center of Leucadia. You will find walkers of all ages, runners enjoying the ocean breeze and cyclists chatting as they ride. This location is conveniently close walking distance to the Leucadia Sunday farmer’s market, great dining and shops in both Encinitas and Leucadia.
