Large 2 bedroom cottage. Non-smoking sleeps 4-6 comfortably and includes screened porch fully equipped kitchen with dish washer, microwave and gas stove. 1 queen and 1 twin bed in each bedroom. Centrally located on route 1 and a mile from the beach.

Great cottage

Cottage was as advertised. Very much a typical Maine cottage but updated decor and appliances. Shower is small but workable unless you are a very large person. Hot water on demand was excellent. Great place for us and our pets. The only negative is that parking right next to the unit is not available, so difficult to unload and load. A little bit of a hill to walk up to the car. All in all great place to stay and enjoy the beautiful coast of Maine.

Nice area.

Not quite what we were expecting. The cell service and WiFi were non-existent most of the time. Hard to get a streaming television to work. Beds were comfortable but shower was very small.

Great location but old cottage

We decided to stay in this cottage because our dogs had to take this trip with us due to our family friend that usually watches them, being unavailable. The cottages were dog friendly, which was nice, however we walked in on the day of check in to a very strong smell of urine in our cottage. We went out and bought air fresheners and used the deodorizing spray under the kitchen sink but it did not last. This is our 8th summer coming to Wells and the location cannot be beat. Being on the 'other side' of Hannafords was a game changer for us as we did not have to sit in much traffic to get to the restaurants we go to, the beach, or the grocery store. The cottage itself is old and shows its age. We were a bit turned off to see how little it had been cleaned with the build up of dirt on the floors, spiders/webs in the shower, spots on the faucets indicating poor cleaning between rentals, and only 4 bath towels and 1 wash cloth provided for 3 nights for 5 guests. Thankfully the beds were comfortable. The Wi-fi was awful and we used data on our cell phones for the time we were there. It took forever for the streaming devices to work to watch a show. Overall, great location, but the accommodations left a lot to be desired, even for a pet-friendly resort.

Perfect stay

The cottage was perfect for our family. We loved the screened porch for playing board games. The location is perfect to all the beaches and fine dining. We walked to the best donuts we have ever had. Highly recommend this place. The pool was clean and the kids loved swimming.

The coziest little cottage!

New Harbor View Cottages is the quintessential New England travel destination! The cottages are set off the road to limit noise, but an easy 1 mile drive or walk to the ocean. Plus only 4 miles to the center of Ogunquit! The cottages themselves make you feel like you’re away at summer camp but with all the essentials at your fingertips. Stacey and Chip are great hosts! We had a slight emergency, and they were quick to act to get it resolved and very nice to work with. We would recommend this stay to everyone! Small cabins for an intimate getaway and larger cabins for a group vacation. Book the trip, you won’t regret it!

Great Stay!

My wife, two adult daughters and I do a little get away each year after school lets out as both our daughters are educators just looking for a few days of R & R after a long school year. The cottage was perfect. Great location, responsive hosts and clean. The refreshing pool after spending time on the beach made for some very nice and relaxing afternoons. Just what we were looking for. We'll be back!!

Excellent Property!

We loved our cottage (#12) at The New Harbor View Cottages. The place was beautiful, well kept, and super relaxing. Would it be even better if it was on the ocean? Well, sure, but the location in Wells gave us easy access to all the places we wanted to go, including the beach! And you can't beat the price for such a beautiful property!

Great location, perfect size for our family.

We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage. Directly across the street from the famous Congdon’s Doughnuts - what more could you ask for? Also a short walk to a few other nearby restaurants, a few minutes from the beach and short drives to Ogunquit and Kennebunkport.

GET AWAY WEEKEND WITH THE GIRLS

This weekend was time to spend with my daughters and granddaughter. My granddaughter attends UNE and we planned on visiting with her. The cottage we rented was the perfect setup for us. Two bedrooms with two beds in each room. Great little kitchen area with everything we needed and a comfortable living room. I loved the little gas burning stove for heat! Made it so cozy!

Great place.

This is the 4th time I have stayed at New Harborview, but first time with the new owners. They made some great updates, the place was comfy, spotless and just perfect. This will now be our go to for our yearly vacations in Maine. No need to look any further.

Sweet cottage in a perfect location

My family enjoyed staying in this sweet cottage! It was the perfect location and walking distance to a dog friendly beach. The proximity to Congdon’s is a huge perk as well. Another great vacation

This is our third year staying in these cabins and we’ve had a wonderful time each year. The cabin was just what we needed for our vacation. We loved the updates Stacey and her husband made this year! The living room felt a lot brighter with the new paint. We can’t wait to be back next year!

Harbor View

The location was perfect and the price was right. Some more deep cleaning would improve the accommodations. I cleaned the air conditioner filters when I arrived because they were filthy. There also were some cobwebs throughout the cottage.

The perfect place!

The cottage was immaculate, freshly painted, tastefully decorated, and had very comfortable furniture. The mattresses are new, super comfy, bed linens are high quality. And talk about luxury--air conditioned and a brand new dishwasher, unheard of and we loved it! The kitchen is equipped with all you need for meals and happy hour. We had a dinner party for 5, full Italian feast was easy to prepare and serve. The huge screened-in porch is a big plus, although it was chilly during our stay we plan to make good use of it next visit. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating, we'll be back!

Wonderful comfortable great location

The cottages are so lovely and comfortable! They are constantly improving and finding little ways for our stay to be more enjoyable! This is our third stay and we look forward to the next. The owners are friendly and kind and attentive! It is a perfect spot, close to everything—distant marsh and ocean views. Walk to the beach (about 1 mile) restaurants and donuts just across and down the street :) This cabin has an expansive screen porch with a view; a lovely place to read, relax, eat a meal, or even do yoga! I can’t more highly recommend a stay at New Harbor View. Always feel so at home in all the ways you want a vacation to feel!

Wonderful! And easy...

The cottage we rented was wonderful. Plenty of room for the two of us. Kitchen was nice. Outdoor area was nice as well, although it was a little cold out to really enjoy it. Entire process was easy. We contacted the property owner and she immediately fixed our issue. Thanks for a terrific weekend!

Maine Coast Coziness

With the exception of the creaky bathroom door, a sticky porch door, and a tight shower, the cozy cottage was a very nice place to relax on a rainy day, and use as a base for our 3 night stay in the area. Owners were sufficient hosts, the grounds were well kept. Easy check in/check out…and VERY comfortable beds. We’ll be back!
