Newly remodeled stand alone home on cul de sac and 17th Green located in Sandpiper Village in beautiful Sandestin

Open, bright and sunny home in safe cul-de-sac located on the scenic Links golf course opening up to a double green. The home comes with a 4 seater golf cart, perfect for accessing all of Sandestin resort. Access all of the restaurants and shops at Grand Boulevard Sandestin (see website) and Baytowne Wharf (see website), the pools, beaches, and even Publix. This private retreat offers walking distance to pools, bass and bay fishing and golf. Amenities include numerous outdoor activities, private beach and pool access, tennis courts, marina, restaurants, nightlife and entertainment at Baytowne Wharf, and miles of bike and walking trails. Located just blocks from Silver Sands Factory Outlet Mall.
The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, dishes and a full size refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, and microwave. The home has a washer and dryer and large dining room table. The master bedroom includes a king size bed, and the second bedroom features a twin over full bunk bed with a twin pull out trundle plus a separate queen bed. The living room opens to a private screened in porch offering more outdoor seating space and a charcoal grill. There is a flat screen TV in the primary bedroom and a large Smart TV in the living room with WiFi provided.
In our beautiful Sandpiper villa, you will find beach, pool, golf, fishing, shopping, bicycling or tennis readily available. We have everything to make your vacation memorable and relaxing in this little piece of paradise!

Overall, stay was good. We enjoyed the golf cart. House was pretty, loved the screened in porch. My boys had a blast, first time for them to the beach. I wish there were more wash rags and rags for kitchen. We did find 3 dishes in cabinet that were still dirty.

I loved the stay. I would say it could have been a bit cleaner. There was a lot of sand on the couch and on the floor from previous stays. I did have to clean out the dryer due to a broken bead bracelet that was left behind. The house was nice - it would benefit from a remodel but we enjoyed the stay. The golf cart was our favorite!

Relaxing week at the beach!

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home very much! It was very comfortable, and we had plenty of space. We enjoyed coffee in the mornings on the screened in porch and cruising around in the golf cart. The area was quiet and peaceful! Our dogs enjoyed walks around the neighborhood as well! Highly recommend renting bikes for your stay.

I highly recommend this place. Excellent location. Beautiful grounds. The newer golf cart was a real bonus. Communication with my host, Heidi, was always prompt. Typically within a few hours. Very quiet neighborhood and rarely saw others. The house was tidy and suited us well. The house comes with access to two pools. We used one of the pools and it was newly remodeled. Very nice. We will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful vacation!!

We highly recommend this vacation rental. The owner was very responsive and welcoming! The house was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the location and amenities of Sandestin. The golf cart was so convent we barely used our vehicle. We didn’t want to leave unless we could access it by golf cart.

We really enjoyed this vacation home. It was just as described. The sunroom was nice for morning coffee and our dogs enjoyed the outdoor space. The biggest perk was the golf cart. We would not have enjoyed our stay nearly as much without it. The rental is in a quiet area, but is a quick ride to anything you could want or need.

Great Location, But Cleanliness & Maintenance Issues

We rented this home for a last minute beach trip. The location was perfect and the golf cart was so fun to have to be able to get to the beach! Unfortunately we had some issues with the property. The master shower appeared to have a leak from the ceiling and was therefore unusable during our stay, as water sprayed all over from the ceiling when the shower turned on. The second shower drain was extremely clogged, so after about 3 minutes, the water was up to our ankles. We also selected a house with the hope of having access to a washer and dryer, but when we opened the washer, there were old towels that had been sitting in there for a while, which was a little gross to find. The blankets that were provided smelled like dogs and had visible hair on them, and there were limited pillows (we ended using pillows from the secondary bedroom). It also would have been nice for there to be extra toilet paper and paper towels, since after about 4 days we were running short (the ones provided were already half used and there were not additional provided that we could find, and we didn't really want to buy a whole pack for the place). The WifFi password didn't work, so we were stuck using our phones as hotspots during the stay. There was also cleaning required (even though we paid a cleaning fee) which is not listed in the property details, which was a surprise after we paid. Overall - cute property but had issues, especially for the price.

Tori, after receiving your negative review I attempted to reach out by email two different times to discuss your concerns. We take customer service and satisfactory very seriously. After emailing you, I was shocked to receive an email from VRBO that you had filed a complaint about me contacting you. I simply wanted to explain that if you had taken the time to contact us immediately when you realized there was a plumbing problem we would have remedied it very quickly. Our guests that came in right after you called us the day they arrived and the problem was fixed within hours. We can't correct problems we don't know exist. As you can tell from many years of reviews we are very attentive and responsive owners. We appreciated the next guests alerting us to the problem so they could fully enjoy their stay and it didn't cause further damage to our home. I assure you, had we known, these problems would have been taken care of ASAP. The Wifi password has never been reported as a problem before or after your stay, so I'm sorry you had trouble using it. The cleaning lady forgot to check the washer for towels as she does all of the laundry off property, I apologize for that and will remind her to check each time. The home was cleaned thoroughly before you arrived and you were only charged once a cleaning fee through VRBO, We are one of few properties that allows dogs in our home so I apologize if the extra blankets provided showed a dog had been there. We will address that issue as well as we always ask that dogs stay off the furniture. Going forward with renting other peoples property, being more communicative DURING your stay would serve best for owners and guests. I left my name and all contact information in multiple places so I could be reached with any problems and am always quick to reply. Again, I wish I could have addressed these concerns with you privately and offered compensation if you desired, had you replied to my email rather than reporting me to VRBO, There are always things that could be improved and feedback is so important in this business, we just appreciate the opportunity to make things right for our guests using the correct avenues. Hopefully going forward, you will be able to do that for homeowners who rent to you in the future. Heidi Cofer

Could be better

Needed a Deep Cleaning when I stayed!! Owners seem to neglect making simple necessary repairs. I was told they had recently acquired the unit, and some of my concerns were New to them. Their story isn't completely true... I happened to meet a nice family staying in the same condo complex, and they'd mentioned previously renting the exact same unit I'd rented a couple years earlier. They did not consider this unit again as according to them, "it needed some help". They then asked me, "is the Back Sliding Door Still messed up?" The owners acted Surprised when I mentioned the sliding door to them. LOL! In the Master Bedroom a wall socket cover was broken into several pieces, and had been scotch taped back together. The clear tape had discolored to now be dark yellowish so it seemed to have been there quite a while. This cover cost about $2.00 at Home Depot - Fix it. Beware of the rusted out patio furniture as I badly sliced open a finger simply trying to move a chair on the patio. I could elaborate, even showing pictures to substantiate my claim, but I'll refrain. This could be a decent property if it were given a little attention. P.S. I owned rental property in Miramar Beach until recently, and had received nearly 50 5-Star Reviews in 2.5 years so I know how to take care of guests.

Met our needs perfectly

This rental was exactly what we needed. The proximity to Linkside Conference Center was perfect for my husband who was there for work, while the central proximity to everything else was great for the rest of us tagging along to play. The golf cart was certainly a nice perk and getting to bring our dog Sadie made it feel much more like home. Would definitely stay here again.

Family Vacation

We loved this property and the location was key. We loved having the golf cart to cool off and drive to the private beach which was so much less crowded than the public beach. The blender didn’t work which was disappointing when it feels like 117 degrees F outside and everyone is HOT, but every thing else was fully functional. We had more space than expected and enjoyed a round of tennis for $36 usd. The house was very clean and we enjoyed the large flat screen in the living area. We also liked the screened in back porch. Great accommodations.

Perfect getaway

This property was exactly as described. It was a little difficult to navigate the community due to not having a map. We figured out things by exploring the book left really didn't help. The cleanliness was impecable not one sign of bugs! Plenty to do the only reason why we left the community was to go to a wedding.

Sandestin perfect getawa

First time 12 hr road trip with 4 and 3 yr old and we loved this home away from our home. It is located on golf course and kids loved their daily drives to get donuts, ice cream, village of Baytown wharf. This property is clean, updated and well stocked. We will visit it again as a family vacation just to relax in this resort. This property is in sandestin, not destin. Destin is almost 10 miles drive. It's a bit quite area than destin which we loved it. The beach Access is also 5 mins in golf cart. Golf cart is the highlight for sure.

Nice House and Location (with Golf Cart)

Family of 4 (kids 12 and 10). We had a great stay at this property. Pictures do not do it justice. Very nicely decorated and in a great location with great privacy. The golf cart is GREAT as you can run over to the wharf, tennis courts, pool, beach or even the Publix and shops around publix. Access to 2 pools and 2 public beaches. Beaches are easy to access via golf cart using the tunnel that runs under US98. We recommend using the beach that you can only bring your own chair and umbrella. Get their around 9:00 to get a front row spot. Tennis is $17 per per per hour for everyone over 10. Very nice tennis facilities. Extremely well manicured grounds with grass and flowers around golf course immaculate. Communication with owners is top notch and very professional. Very close to all the hustle and bustle but very quiet and private when at the home. (Tell the kids to look on the course for random turtles passing by the back porch and in the bushes for nice new golf balls 😂)
