Private studio Casita (connected by 20ft patio in back of home), full bath, hot tub (yours during your stay). Separate entry (sidewalk around house, threw gate, please keep closed). Lots of parking (left side, by sidewalk and " Welcome sign"). I do have a dog Parker, but he is friendly (please let me know if this concerns you, I'll keep him away )🙂. Picnic table, great views (1mile long gravel loop road for morning hike) , bbq grill, 2- mountain bikes for riding on the many miles of gravel roads in CME, wildlife, peaceful. Queen bed, hutch, TV, DVD, kitchenette (full fridge, sink, micro, coffee maker, etc..), dining area and living area . Yard games, gazebo ( with gas heat). This is my home, so we will be in backyard from time to time. 30 minutes +/- to Pikes Peak, Cripple Creek (Casinos, underground Gold mine tours, Steam train), Fossil bed National Park, Wolf and Wildlife preserve, Cave of the winds, Garden of the God's park.

Our hosts were great! We had coffee in the mornings and they told us about places to visit and things to see. Super friendly and welcoming! This place was beautiful and relaxing, everything we were needing for our getaway! Very clean and cozy. So thankful for our time here and hope to come to this area again soon! Highly recommend!

Great Stay in Florissant

Enjoyed our 2 night stay with very accommodating hosts. Great setup with a detached apartment-ish room, 20 steps with a hot tub that gives view of the stars while also watching flicks on a wall mounted screen. Lots to like, nothing to complain and all at a very reasonable rate - very well done!

Relaxing Getaway

This was a great place for my husband and me to spend a couple of days, just relaxing. This location was quiet, peaceful and perfect for our needs. We spent some time up by Cripple Creek, and then just enjoyed some quiet time together at the apartment. Great not to be rushing around, enjoyed being away from the crowds and rushing traffic.

Short retreat

Very nice stay, enjoyed talking to Bryan's friend Kevin and his wife as they were house setting for Bryan. Just a quick couple day get away while in the area for work earlier in the week. Thanks for sharing your Casita.

So kind and a great stay!

Bryan and Nadine were so kind and helpful during our stay. We were there for the weekend, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Bryan and Nadine were helpful in giving great options for places to eat around their place. Be ready for a long dirt-road to get to the Casita, but wow! It is worth it!

Weekend get away

We had the most incredible time! Bryan is a fantastic host with tons of information about the area and attractions ,and is incredible accommodating the property was beautiful and well maintained ! Parker is the sweetest little greeter :) we will definitely come back whenever we can! 10/10!

Beautiful Casita in the mountains

Bryan & Nadine the owners, are absolutely the friendliest people ever. Their lovely Casita was stocked with everything you needed and just beautiful. I couldn’t wait to open the blinds and see the deer in the backyard every morning. We will definitely go back. Thank you so much Bryan & Nadine for a lovely vacation. Awesome property and hosts!!!

Nadine and Bryan are truly the best hosts ever. They are so warm friendly and accommodating! Communication prior to my stay was a pleasure. The casita is beautifully appointed, with an incredibly comfortable bed, a small couch, kitchen table and a great kitchenette area. The yard and hot tub is welcoming and comfortable and the views outstanding! Not to mention the sweet Yodi girl! My stay was three days and It was perfect. There is a ton of outdoor things to do snd lots of exploring, including 11 mile state park. I'm a Jeeper as is the host Bryan and he spent a day doing trails with me, it was so beautiful and a great time! I can't say enough positive about this property and the hosts!!! I can't wait to come back!!

I wasn't sure if VRBO was going to work for my wife and I, but having Penni as our first guest was great. She was very thoughtful, considerate and just over all Great. As a jeeper myself, it was fun to spend the day out exploring and showing the area to her.

Perfect weekend getaway!

This was the perfect weekend getaway! The setting is peaceful and beautiful. We especially enjoyed the hot tub after returning from our four wheeling trip. The casita has everything you need and is quaint. Bryan is a phenomenal host. Super knowledgeable and fun to hang out with. Looking forward to staying here again. Highly recommend!

Remote Getaway with Spectacular Surroundings

After much searching several listings, this location had what my wife and I were looking for to get away for our 20th anniversary. Bryan is super fast in his responses and both he and Nadine welcomed us as if we were longtime friends. The location is off the beaten path, but still within an hour drive to pretty much anywhere you’d want to go. It was always nice to end an evening in the hot tub as the temp started to drop. We would recommend this property to anyone that wants to be surrounded by beautiful mountains and several wandering deer. The hosts have a genuine gift of hospitality and enjoy having people stay with them. They always gave us our privacy in the evening hours.

Bryan and Nadine were great hosts! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The Casita was perfect. Great views from the back yard. It was especially nice to spend time visiting with them. Perfect!

Our stay at Bryan & Nadine’s casita was nothing short of PERFECT! They are the most wonderful hosts. The casita is beautiful, clean, adorable & equipped with everything you need to make your stay just fabulous! Our stay over Labor Day weekend started with coffee in the back yard with a herd of deer (this was the highlight of my trip!) and each night concluded with a soak in the hot tub under the stars among the Colorado Rockies! We would live there forever if we could! I HIGHLY recommend booking with Bryan & Nadine - our stay was absolutely perfect!

Very nice place to stay!

Very nice place to stay! We are usually out and about all day when we're on vacation so just need a nice place to shower, sleep, and relax for the evening. This place was perfect for that! While we stayed here we checked out Colorado Springs, Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods and a few waterfalls along the way before we left. The place is super clean and the owners were very nice and helpful!

Beautiful home/with a backyard oasis

Our rental experience from beginning to end was seamless!! The home was exactly as listed. Brian and his wife have thought of everything, to make your trip a great one! Pictures don’t even one close to showing off the awesome backyard environment they have created! Brian was an awesome host and we had a blast getting to know him. After visiting his property he now feels like a friend. We highly recommend renting from Brian ans his wife when traveling to Colorado!
