It's a pretty cool house. The basement level is almost like a separate apartment. Beds are very comfortable. No bathroom on the main level, so you have to go upstairs or downstairs to use one. Some instructions in their binder are out of date. Very close to the downtown shopping district, which was great.
This was a wonderful house! Eight extended relatives stayed together to attend a family wedding. There was plenty of room for all. Everything was clean and comfortable, lots of cute decorative accents, adequate seating, a well-stocked kitchen. Loved being walking distance from downtown McMinville. Had to communicate a few times with the host, got quick replies. Would definitely stay here again!(Only downsideâbed pillows were too tall/hard for most of us)
Visited with family for OSU graduation. House was very comfortable. Spent time around the fire pit which we really enjoyed. Would stay again. Great town!
Group of friends wanted to visit McMinville. Location was great, house was great and restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay there again.
Les points faibles : Communication et exactitude de lâannonce
Inconvenient
I had a confusing start with the house title not matching the bill, which caused me a headache and led me to cancel my credit card.Check-in went smoothly, and the location was good. The house is old, two stories high, and has a nice basement. You can see big cracks on the ceilings in every room. The floors sag, you can hear footsteps when walking, and the walls are thin, but we understood that they did their best with the remodeling. The hotel owns the house and has a system in place. They provided a nice welcome packet with all the information we needed, plus a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolate. The house can accommodate a maximum of 10 people, but we found the supplies limited, which made us uncomfortable. We booked for three nights. On the first day, there were only three rolls of toilet paper, one paper towel, and a trash bag in the can. We ran out of supplies on the second day and requested more, as the welcome packet said we could. The staff gave us four rolls of toilet paper, one roll of paper towels, and one garbage bag, said we would need to buy more ourselves. These supplies are inexpensive, and we didnât expect to have to do this. We donât normally complain, but this situation is too much.
My husband and I stayed in McMinnville, arriving on a very cold evening. I wondered if the home could be warm enough because it is wonderfully spacious. We were toasty and comfortable all night. Well appointed, PERFECT for a family get away or a friends' weekend. It is a home from the early 20th century, but has been tastefully and wisely updated. Still has its charm, but functions like a modern home. The owner even left a bottle of wine to welcom us. One vert small drawback: a scent-emitting plug-in in the kitchen. However, we solved that by unplugging it and putting it on the back porch. I'd certainly recommend this place for a larger crowd than just two people, but it was great for us as well. Great location!
Very nice bungalow. I think that you need to to make it more clear in the listing about all the stairs. ( we are all seventy plus)Very noisyâŠ.. priced accordingly Enjoyed ourselves
Brief stay for a Girls Slumber Party to visit Wine Country. More than enough room for 4 Adults. Check-in was easy, check it was easy and reasonable. They left Very Nice treats as a Welcome gift! The Group felt bad that I ended up with the Basement, until they came down to the Basement. Then they were jealous!Fully equipped Kitchen, wish we had more time to enjoy the backyard! Only downside was as soon as the stovetop was turned on, the Smoke Detector went off and would not stop, even with All the windows open. Definitely plan on staying again!
We were only able to stay one night but the house was amazing. My kids would have preferred tvâs in their rooms but I was fine without it. Nice backyard area and ping pong table. We enjoyed it very much.
We truly enjoyed this property with a friends group. Being able to spilt 4 people in the 3 upstairs bedrooms to share a bathroom and a couple took the basement bedroom and bathroom worked great!
Everything is clean and it was so easy to check in/out as well as park the car.
We enjoyed the dining table and the kitchen space was exactly what we needed with everything organized.
Plenty of towels and wonderful welcome wine and chocolates!
Only draw back for some was the squeaky floors and stairs for those up late or in the middle of the night or early morning sleep ins.
Great little house in close walking distance to the main street (3rd) full of restaurants and tasting rooms. Check in was easy and smooth and the manager was excellent. Thank you,
What a great property! We agreed to move our reservation to Douglas on Third. Our host accommodated us with 3 rooms and the property was excellent. Great location to walk around McMinnville. Would definitely recommend highly!
Spacious, charming, well appointed and conveniently located in heart of McMinnville. The kitchen is updated and well stocked if one wishes to cook and eat in. There is a great little enclosed back yard, too. Very comfortable all around. Would definitely rent this property again if back to the area.
We were visiting McMinnville for my sonâs graduation. This house slept the exact number of people we needed to sleep and we could bring a dog. It had lots of parking, which was great because we drove lots of cars down from Portland knowing we needed to move out the graduate.
It wouldâve been nice to have had a few more plates and cooking pots. However, I had read prior reviews and we brought our own stuff.
The beds were super comfortable and the sheets really soft. It really was the perfect spot for us.
Great house for hanging out in downtown McMinnville!
We loved the proximity of the house to downtown and that there was plenty of room inside and in the backyard to hang out as well. There werenât many other residences around the property so that was nice. Would recommend if you want to spend a weekend doing wine tastings so you donât have to drive or walk far.
We were here wine tasting and the house was central and we loved being able to walk to downtown McMinnville. Walked down every night for dinner to great restaurants. We were also central for all our wine tastings. Beds and bedding were great and the remodel was very nice. Agree with the reviewer in June that the kitchen still needs baking dishes, servicing platters and real dishes. Would have been nice to have a bathroom on the main floor. However, it worked out well and we had a great time.
This house had tons of character and was in a great location for exploring downtown McMinnville. There was plenty of space for our group of 10. The beds were SO comfortable! The highlight was the backyard space with ping pong and corn hole and a great fire place. Would definitely stay again.
