DOGWOOD COTTAGE is a great COUPLES GETAWAY near many popular Asheville attractions. Rates and reviews are excellent!
This sweet cottage is newly renovated with 1 bedroom, 1 bath and an open concept eat-in kitchen & living room. The bedroom has a comfy queen-sized bed, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare a large meal or a small snack, the bathroom has a washer/dryer and outside is private parking right beside the unit.
Asheville Retreat Cottages...super nice cottages located smack in the middle of everything you want to do in Asheville!!!! This little community is perfect for individuals seeking a quiet, relaxing time away from their normal busy lives.
This property is conveniently located just minutes from Biltmore Park and only 15 minutes from downtown Asheville in the Avery Creek/Arden community. Biltmore Park has lots of restaurants, shops, entertainment, a great movie theater, spa and more. The Blue Ridge Parkway is only 3 miles away and a great place for hikes and sightseeing. The NC Arboretum is only 3 miles away and is great for hiking, biking and exploring the beautiful gardens. Zen Tubing is just 2 miles down the road at the French Broad River. This is absolutely a must do activity for all ages. The new Outlet Mall is only 5 miles away and has shopping for everyone! The Biltmore House is just 15 minutes away and another must do in Asheville. Plan at least 5 hours though because you will want to explore everything on the estate...just beautiful!
Whether you are coming to Asheville to hike, bike, fish, tub, sightsee, shop, explore or relax, this location is close to everything!
This little cottage is in a very small community with only 5 units. It is 1/2 of a duplex but the parking is separate and inside you would never know there is an adjoining unit. Per guest reviews, they love this place. You will find all the conveniences needed for a few nights or a few months.

Excellent and clean place to stay. Close enough to everything

Super clean and close to most everything to do in Asheville. Bed was cozy and was nice to have everything in the kitchen if needed. Next time we visit we will be staying here again for sure. Thanks!

We will definitely stay here again. The place was very clean, quiet, and exactly what we were looking for. The correspondence with the owners prior to the trip was great - very helpful. I would highly recommend.

Nice stay

It was clean, and had everything we needed and extras. The location was a close drive to major roads and restaurants and groceries. The only thing negative was the very saggy couch, not comfortable for sitting or napping. Luckily we didn't spend much time relaxing there.

Very nice!

This place is excellent for a get away. Recently updated and very convenient to a lot different areas. Note: Uber doesn't pick up this place on GPS so text or call your driver.

Delightful

Despite the rain my son and I still managed to go to Chimney Rock. We had a blast. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping close by. Ryan's buffet is very close and delicious. There is a restaurant directly across the street from Ryan's which has excellent food! Excellent, quite cottage. Two thumbs up!!

Everything was what we expected. Very nice cabin.

We were very impressed with the cabin. Everything we needed was there. The cabin was very clean and had everything you need in kitchen and linen. Had to call owner about an internet issue. He was very nice and helpful. Issue was taken care of quickly. We would love to stay there again in the future.

Excellent!!

Very convenient to all we wanted to see and do! Clean and stocked with just enough of everything! The bed wasn't quite big enough for us though. My husband is 6'6" and I'm not sure it was even a Queen.... but very nice place!!

Wonderful couple's get away

The house was perfect. It was very clean and neat. There was a kind welcome gift awaiting us as we arrived. I was impressed overall with the accommodations (dishwasher, toaster, oven, stove, parking, living room, etc.). I can't express how clean it was....no spec of dirt or dust anywhere. Bathroom was immaculate. It felt clean and it looked clean. The house is about 10-15 minutes from everything you'd want to see in Asheville. It's close to grocery stores and eating joints too. It's secluded which is nice too. I will definetly stay at Dogwood Cottage again in the future.

Bright, spacious, well equipped kitchen. The washer and dryer we’re especially nice since we stayed for a month. Michael was a terrific host! Nice, quiet setting, convenient location. Great place!

Great Base for AVL Adventures

We loved our time here! It's a great spot for daytrips into the area - easy access to Downtown Asheville, Biltmore, Blue Ridge Parkway, Hikes, and more. The place is cozy and private, and the kitchen is great if you want to cook a few meals at home. For slower days, you're not far from restaurants and groceries in Hendersonville/Arden if you'd like to stay close and rest up for your next big adventure. Would recommend for a couple or close family/friends.

Perfect place for a couple’s getaway

Great location. 30 minutes from awesome hiking trails. Be sure to check out Looking Glass Trail and Triple Falls Trail. Also got a surprise with the white squirrels. Great place to come back to after a hike and relax. We really enjoyed our stay.

We could not be more pleased with the everything. It was everything that was advertised and we will be coming back in the near future. We couldn't be happier with the entire weekend. Such a perfect get away for a couple.

Clean & Convenient

The cottage is very clean and cute. The owner has thought of many details that are helpful - labeled light switches, instructions for the TV, a hair dryer and a well stocked kitchen. The cottage is small, but comfortable for a couple. We found the location convenient for the hiking and biking we wanted to do, as well as enjoying downtown & West Asheville.

Christmas 2020

Wonderful place outside of Asheville. Owners were super about last minute booking. We had everything we needed and were super cozy in the cabin while it was snowing! Woke to winter wonderland. Love the distance to the mountains! Definitely would recommend! Wonderful stay!
