This cottage was great for our needs. It was close to Edgartown - truly within walking distance - and close to the grocery store, yet off the busy roads so it was quiet. It was clean and the owner was responsive. Would definitely recommend!
We are a family of 6 in town for a wedding. We chose the house based on its walkable location in Edgartown. The house is well-stocked, adorable and comfortable. We were very pleased.
Highly recommend this property. Amazing decor - perfect cottage ambiance. Nice kitchen with all the supplies you need. Bedrooms are all comfy with nice bathroom.
Short walk to town - shuttle bus nearby. We had a perfect stay.
Short walk to Edgartown, we spent many years in Katamaura and finding a parking place in Edgartown was horrendous. This year we decided to stay for this reason. Great house and outside seating area, TV area was a plus!!! We will be back!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is central located to the heart of downtown Edgartown (15 minute walk to the waterfront). We rented electric bikes from Cutler bike shop and were able to get to Oak Bluffs easily in 15 minutes and into West Tisbury in about 30 minutes via electric bike. We rented a car to get to Aquinnah and it was well worth the drive.
The home has a full kitchen and all basic Staples are included. There were beach towels and bath towels though we would have appreciated wash cloths.
We found shampoo, conditioner, and soap at the grocery store, as well as all the food we could want at fair prices.
We would happily stay in this home again and thank our hosts for the hospitality.
We loved this cottage from the moment we walked in the door for the first time. Check In was perfect and especially liked the lock box at front door in case of an unintended lock out. It always felt like you were coming home at the end of each day. The wonderful kitchen bar was our organizational center for our stay. Bedrooms were perfect with each of us having our bathroom. The beds were extremely comfortable The location was great! We rented ebikes from Edgartown bikes which is located around the corner. They were wonderful to work with and actually ended up picking up the bikes for us when we had to depart a day earlier than planned. Edgartown is the town to stay in for a MV visit! We could not have had a better experience with this rental! We loved the back deck for morning coffee and chat.
We would love to return to this house again and again! Thank you for having us!
We had a wonderful stay here in August 2022. Don't let the location next to a self storage unit deter you, this is walkable to Edgartown Center and was a perfect space for my family. The house was really comfortable and had everything we needed! Highly recommend.
Overall a great experience! Matt, our host, was quick and responsive with all communication! The house was spacious and centrally located with a fun outdoor space for dinners at home and hanging around the fire. The house is a short walk to the shops and restaurants in Edgartown- perfect for our annual girls getaway! Would recommend having a car if you plan on spending a lot of time at the beach. I would recommend this house to those considering! I would love to return next year for our girls trip!
This stay was perfect for a weekend getaway! It was my friendâs first time on Marthaâs Vineyard and this location was great for her to see everything. The walk to downtown was quickly and very easy. The outdoor space was perfect for relaxing in the sun! I would definitely recommend this stay.
We stayed at 18 Pinehurst for a girls trip for the Marathon. The property was great and had plenty of space for 6 women: the only drawback was the presence of ants in the kitchen living room area. Knowing that itâs early in the spring/summer season ants are incredibly common and the owners responded right away sending over the caretaker to help us resolve the issue. We were thrilled and didnât let this blip stop our weekend - we would gladly stay again and canât thank the owners enough for being responsive and quick when we did have a slight issue.
House is perfect for a family vacation. It's walking distance to a huge park, public library and downtown Edgartown. Clean and good use of space in the house and owners communicated well.
I did have a few bumps during the first few days of the rental but after communicating with the owners, they took matters into their hands and ironed out all that was needed. The house is wonderfully located and within walkable distance to the grocery store, hardware store, liquor store, fish store, but most importantly to beautiful downtown Edgartown!
I would definitely rent here again.
We booked this property last minute and simply could not be more satisfied. It appears to be recently remodeled and it is quite beautiful. Not to mention immaculately clean. We would recommend this home to anyone looking for a a nice getaway at an excellent value. We would go back in a heartbeat.
We fell in love with the house. It has been beautifully maintained. Also, it is in an absolutely ideal location. You can walk to Edgartown center, take bikes to the beach, or relax on the deck or inside in central air conditioning.
It is "inside the triangle" which if you have ever been to the Vineyard before then you know how much time and frustration that you save. The traffic is very busy in the summer and this location prevents you from being backed up in it. Also, you can walk to downtown, grocery store, package store, restaurant, etc. so a car is not imperative.
