We (husband and two 18-year-olds) had a fantastic day in Paris, visiting family and all the sites. There are so many pros: location (convenient for Metro, shops, restaurants, gardens, etc.), cleanliness, plenty of room for everyone, comfortable beds, plenty of storage, and bathrooms. We did have a problem with the air conditioner, as the place did not remain cool. It was hot while we were there in early June. Additionally, the one bedroom and bathroom connected to the downstairs gym were very musty, moldy, and smelly. We also had very little sunlight as no windows would open within the apartment, and you are surrounded by walls/buildings. These few cons did not impact our travel as we were barely in the apartment during our weeklong stay.
This was perfect for our group of 7. We really needed a ground floor flat for our aging parents on this trip. Plenty of restaurants, cafes, grocery nearby. The metro is just feet away. The area had a great atmosphere and was always hopping. Back to the place, three comfortable bedrooms, two showers and two toilets were perfect for our group size. I highly recommend.
Stayed in this lovely apartment for a week with my wife and 2 sons.
This apartment is perfectly located for exploring Paris. A metro stop just around the corner, loads of shops and cafes near by and very quiet in the evenings.
The host, Johanna, was great. She replied to all queries quickly and was more than helpful during the whole process.
Strongly recommend this lovely property and wonderful host to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Paris.
We reserved the apartment six months ago having selected it in significant part for its air conditioning. As soon as we arrived, on Wednesday, we contacted Studio Prestige about the air conditioning being broken. Somehow they had failed to notice and deal with this problem ahead of our arrival. The ownerâs brother-in-law, who came to look at the air conditioning confirmed that the ac was not working. Note that that day we arrived it reached a high of 35 degrees in Paris, it reached highs of 28 or above on three of our remaining full days in the apartment and was forecast to be 40 on the day of our planned checkout, and in the month of June to that point there had been eight days above 28 degrees. This should have been an issue they were monitoring especially in an apartment with no windows. We stayed, despite discomfort, based on their representations that the air conditioning would be fixed the following day. Studio Prestige and the owner did not even send a technician the next day, Thursday, but we stayed based on their continuing assurances that the matter would be dealt with on Friday. We lost much of our day Friday to the technician finally arriving and working on the air conditioning. Late in the day Friday he concluded that it would not be fixed during our stay. We repeatedly contacted Studio Prestige asking for a replacement place to stay, which they refused to provide. And they have been refused to refund our payment for Friday.
The most perfect location with a fresh market across the street, a great place to enjoy coffee, baguettes and of course croissants!!! I stayed in this flat with my wife, 5, 8, 10, year old boys. And also my mother in law!!! It was comfortable for all of us.. France took a piece of our hearts and we will always be back
