Kendall Park
A comfortable 3-bedroom, 2-bath home on the quiet side of Door County. Located in downtown Bailey's Harbor and one block in from the main street. This house is within walking distance to the Marina, The Ridges Environmental Center, Door County Brewery, Harbor Fish Market & Grille, Chives Restaurant, Bailey's 57, Anclam Beach, shops, and all that Bailey's has to offer. Yet the home offers privacy in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Located across from Kendall Park which is fun for the kids and convenient for the Sunday Farmers Market.

The house was built in 1950 as a 3-bedroom, 1-bath home. In 1973 it received a major remodel which included a great room with a stone fireplace, and a master bedroom with a bath. Except for a few makeovers here and there, it remained that way for 46 years.

It recently underwent a significant transformation. The house has been renovated using repurposed materials from industrial buildings and barns from around Wisconsin as well as Amish-made cabinets and furniture.

The family room and the kitchen is generally one large area which is perfect for families. It has a stone, floor-to-ceiling fireplace surrounded by a comfortable seating area. There is a huge bar height table in front of a backlit timber and cream city brick wall with a coffee bar and sink. Patio doors lead to a private, spacious deck with ample seating and a gas fire table and grill. The kitchen overlooking the family room is set up with everything you need to enjoy family meals at home if you choose. On the other side of the house, down the hall, is where you will find the three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen bed and a full bath with a walk-in shower and walk-in closet. The remaining 2 bedrooms each have a queen bed and a twin-XL bed along with a closet. Both bedrooms share the main bath at the end of the hall. It is a full bath with a shower over the tub. Additionally, the master bedroom walk in closet has been converted into a laundry area with washer and dryer for guests to use.

A wonderful place to stay

We had a lovely time staying at this very clean and nicely decorated home. Easy walk to restaurants and shops, the kitchen was well- stocked with dishes and such. We loved using the large island to do a puzzle while we were there.

We had a wonderful stay in Bailey’s Harbor! The home was perfect for the 5 of us and the location was great for walking to area destinations. We enjoyed the deck and fire pit, appreciated the grill, and had everything we needed for a week’s stay (including laundry). Would definitely recommend!

Girls Trip Weekend Away

This place was the perfect weekend away for the 6 of us! The long table was perfect for playing games and the living room had enough space for all of us.
