Relax in the spacious living room with a cathedral ceiling and stone fireplace. We are located 3 miles south of Baileys Harbor on a private 3 acre lot surrounded by woods. Enjoy a leisurely walk down the road to explore the lakeshore or watch the sunrise. Sit on the porch and watch the mystic hummingbirds as they enjoy their nectar. An abundance of wildlife can be viewed. In the backyard is a picnic area with a grill and picnic table for outdoor meals. In the evening you can stargaze by the fire pit in the backyard. Itâs is only a short drive to Maxwelton Braes Golfcourse or the charming town of Baileys Harbor. Baileys Harbor offers many activities for nature enthusiasts, from the wildlife sanctuary to salmon fishing, kayaking, zip lining or just relaxing on one of two public beaches. The fall and winter months offer beautiful colors and breathtaking scenery. Cross country skiing and ice fishing are favorite excursions during the winter months. Ski trails are groomed in our state parks and ice fishing charters are available. Come and explore the quiet side of Northern Door County!
We had a great end of summer family vacation at this cozy cabin! It has a perfect Door County location that is close to the lake, nature trails, and neighboring towns. There are nice restaurants, cafes, and shopping close by too. The cabin is dog friendly and had everything we needed to feel at home! We enjoyed coffee on the porch and the living room fireplace on cool nights!Weâd love to book again!
We had a wonderful stay! The home was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintainedâexactly as described. The location was perfect for a relaxing getaway, and the hosts were responsive and kind. Weâd absolutely stay here again!
Beautiful log cabin in a quiet area. The house was perfect for us - clean, well-stocked, comfortable furniture and beds, roomy, lovely view and very quiet and peaceful. The owner is very helpful and easy to reach. We enjoyed walking to the lake and sitting on the porch. Close to so many restaurants and other points of interest. Just a perfect house for us. We would highly recommend and hope to return next summer.
Everything we wanted and more! This home is absolutely beautiful. Lisa has gone above and beyond to include any little thing you may need to make the stay perfect. Plenty of extra blankets, pillows, grilling tools, you name it. The location is tranquil and an easy drive to many amazing attractions. Lisa gave us an extensive list of places to see and places to eat that the locals enjoy most. We will come back again as a family to finish off the list, kick back and enjoy the amazing hospitality and comfort that this home offers.
We booked this cabin because it welcomed our 2 âdoodlesâ and would sleep all 6 of us for our 3 night stay. I have been coming to Door County for the last 15 years, but this was our first time staying on the âlake sideâ of the peninsula. There was lake access .8 mile down the road that gave us some great views of sunrise. We took in most of our favorite places: Plum Bottom Gallery, Edgewood Orchard Gallery, Wood Orchard store, Fish Creek and Popelka-Trenchard Glass. We couldnât miss Wild Tomato Pizza or White Gull Inn for breakfast. The weather was perfect for grilling out, enjoying sâmores and just relaxing. The cabin had everything we needed and I would definitely recommend this cabin to friends.
We loved our stay; itâs in a private area but close enough to everything youâd want to do in Door County. Would recommend to anyone who wants a cabin stay away from everyone but close enough to do all the restaurants and shops.
This home was a perfect fit for our family of 7, along with Grandma, to spend the Thanksgiving holiday. The description online was very accurate. The home was clean and welcoming. The kitchen was fully stocked. Lisa, the host, lives nearby and is very responsive to any questions or issues. Beds were comfortable and plenty of towels. Fireplace was so nice. Great stay.
We took a short weekend away with friends. The house was the perfect evening resting spot after touring all day. We enjoyed a peacefull fire at night and a nice morning walk to see the beautiful lake, only a .6 mi walk away.
We had a wonderful few days at a delightful log cabin in Baileys Harbor. The cabin was exactly as described, comfortable and decorated for fall!! Lisa, our host was extremely helpful and easily reached. Thank you Lisa, for sharing your home.

Great cabin, felt very cozy and well appointed! Everything was thoughtfully decorated for Fall with all the basics covered. We loved the trails down the street and enjoyed walking with our dogs to the lake in the morning.
The log cabin was exactly as expected from the description on VRBO. The cleanliness was amazing. The scenery was beautiful. We would definitely recommend this house to everyone.
We had a great time and enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was plenty of space for our family. The location was perfect. Thank you, Lisa, for the hospitality.
My husband and I just wanted to get away to a cooler place and found this VRBO. IT WAS beautiful, and wish we could have stayed longer. The house was emaculate and the area and yard (flowers) were beauthiful!! -- Would highly recommend it. Plenty of room for a family as well!!
THANKS for the opportunity!

My brother and I recently purchased this beautiful home from our mother. This is the house we grew up in and we couldnât bear to see it be sold. My brother and I are both year round residents here in Baileys Harbor. My bother Todd, owns Lakeshore Adventures in Baileys Harbor and also builds custom homes. I have worked as a registered nurse for the past 23 years.
This beautiful home was built by my parents in 1976. My brother and I recently purchased this home from our mother because we wanted to keep the house in our family. We have so many wonderful memories growing up here. My brother Todd and I still both reside here in the Baileys Harbor area and we couldnât imagine living anywhere else. We share a great love of outdoor activities which are in abundance here. In the summer we enjoy fishing, kayaking, hiking on nature trails, swimming at the beaches, boating and horseback riding to name a few. The falls brings extraordinary colors as the leaves change to yellow, orange and red. The air is crisp and we enjoy sitting by a campfire in the evenings with friends. In the winter months the beauty of the landscape is breathtaking. Life slows down in the winter and we have more time for quiet reflection and to regenerate ourselves. We enjoy activities such as cross country skiing, ice fishing, snowshoeing and curling up by the fire with a good book.
This house is constructed of solid logs which makes it very unique and charming. It is a great place to relax and unwind and spend time with family and friends.
