Self check-in was super easy! The yard was so gorgeous. Loved watching the bugs, bees and birds flutter around. This serene cottage was exactly what we needed for this weekend getaway. I was very impressed with the cleanliness (I am a professional cleaner so I have a trained eye and tend to be particular. I admit it.) Ruth was welcoming and loved on our puppies when we arrived. We felt safe and cozy the entire trip! This house radiates love and peaceful energy. Thank you so much!!
Our stay was perfect. Kizer and Daisy enjoyed the yard to run free in. That made it much easier for us. The location is ideal for Rockport area. Easy to get to your destinations with ease. Highly Recommend this place as a quiet relaxing stay.
A cute little cottage in a good part of town. Nice fenced yard for our 2 malipoo's, which they loved. Very quiet also. Our 2nd time staying. We recommend it...
Property was very clean and had everything we needed with the added bonus of a lovely yard for our dogs. The property manager was exceptionally responsive and welcoming.
The beach was disappointing due to horrible mosquitoes and jellyfish. I was stung by a nettle jellyfish that had long tentacles that wrapped around my right leg. Extremely painful. We had to leave a day early because my daughter had an unexpected medical appointment this morning she couldnât miss. Will be filing a claim for reimbursement for July 2nd.
I had a wonderful, relaxing time in this beautiful place. I came with my 2 dogs, which loved the fenced in, grassy area, while I relaxed in the porch chairs. Everything was exactly as described, very comfortable bed, well stocked and beautifully decorated. I will definitely be coming back.
Enjoyed having fur babies with us for their first beach trip. Thankful for the consideration of the host for allowing our little family to enjoy Memorial Day weekend as a whole. Such a great, clean, cozy cottage right in the heart of everything we had planned to do!
This property was exactly as advertised and rated. Ruth is an excellent host and responds quickly. Great location near the arts district. Many eating options near by as well. If you have a pet, the property is fenced in which is nice. The cottage is quite, clean, and front porch is nice to sit and relax. Would definitely stay at this place again.
This cottage was tiny and wonderful for my needs. The decor was like I stepped into my favorite antique shop and had a sleep over. Every nook and cranny had little treasures to look at. The water was hot. The linens smelled amazing. The yard and porch were cute. It was nice to visit the cottage.
This little cottage felt so comfortable and perfect, I canât wait to come back! I loved bird watching on the front porch and looking at/reading everything inside the cottage. I canât say enough good things about the host! Ruth was so incredibly helpful and hospitable, another reason I canât wait to return!
Went down for my husbandâs birthday so we could go fishing with guide. Took two nights to really get arrested and or a miniature golden doodle is very happy with the gated yard. It was a very peaceful stay.
Absolutely wonderful. The cottage is small but was just what we anticipated and was perfect for our needs. It was literally the cleanest place we have ever stayed. Will stay again!
Loved our stay at the vintage cottage. A few minutes from the beach. The cottage was super clean and well kept. You can see the attention to details everywhere. I felt like I was in a vintage doll house. So cozy, relaxing. We had a wonderful time.
This little cottage is lovely, cozy and comfortable. The decor is charming and the front porch is very relaxing. The little house was very clean and well supplied. The owner was an extremely good communicator. We had one little glitch with the check-in process, but she was very quick to respond and resolved the issue exceedingly well. Highly recommend this place. I definitely plan to go back
Ruth is an amazing host and the cottage is cozy and perfect for two people. Our dogs loved the cottage, too. Beautiful yard and porch for spending time outside!
An accomplished Locksmith by day, I am the hostess with the mostest. If you need anything, just ask. Need seclusion? I'll be happy to give it to you. This is your vacation and I want it to be the best one ever.
Who wouldn't want to stay in a vintage cottage where you can pretend to be part of the past while having the amenities of the present? The cottage is in the center of town, close to the beach and downtown shopping. Close to many different restaurants and even HEB and Wal-Mart aren't far away. The property is surrounded by commercial businesses so the night time is quiet and enjoyable. The day time isn't too busy either. Forget a book to read? The public library is across the street. There are also several books in the cottage to enjoy during your stay.
This beautiful cottage is in the middle of town but you'd never know it by the beautiful trees and garden. The wind blows through just enough to get the windchimes singing to hide the noise from the roadways. This vintage cottage really is a haven to get away from the daily grind.
