1 bed 1 bath cottage. Built in 1928. Withstood Hurricane Harvey in 2017. Front porch to enjoy your morning. Full size bed in cozy bedroom. Walk-in shower. Kitchenette with small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Lots of historic pictures and furnishings.

Bird feeders & water feature visible from the porch.
Located close to Rockport Beach and free fishing piers.
Free boat launch at Rockport Beach.
Port Aransas is 18 miles away, timing depends on the ferry.

A cute little cottage in a good part of town. Nice fenced yard for our 2 malipoo's, which they loved. Very quiet also. Our 2nd time staying. We recommend it...

Adorable piece of history

Ruth is an amazing host and the cottage is cozy and perfect for two people. Our dogs loved the cottage, too. Beautiful yard and porch for spending time outside!

Charming Cottage Beautiful Yard

No one could expect more for a getaway to Rockport, Texas. This property is such a peaceful sanctuary with every amenity you could ask for. Perfect for a couple and pups with a fully fenced yard. A beautiful yard with birds galore.

LOVED our stay

Loved our stay at the vintage cottage. A few minutes from the beach. The cottage was super clean and well kept. You can see the attention to details everywhere. I felt like I was in a vintage doll house. So cozy, relaxing. We had a wonderful time.

Great little place

Enjoyed the history of the cottage and the decor. Gardens and yard at the property were beautiful. Our dog loved exploring the yard and hanging out on the porch. Plenty of hooks throughout the interior helped maximize the space available. Highly recommend!

Quaint Cottage

This property was exactly as advertised and rated. Ruth is an excellent host and responds quickly. Great location near the arts district. Many eating options near by as well. If you have a pet, the property is fenced in which is nice. The cottage is quite, clean, and front porch is nice to sit and relax. Would definitely stay at this place again.

Cottage Stay

We thought the property was very nice. Extremely well decorated. Only problem was that I move a lot when I sleep and the bed shake every time waking my wife. Other than that we had a good time.

Comforting haven

This place was not only beautiful but so comfortable and nice! My daughter and I love antiquing and we loved looking at all the art and treasures around the cottage, right down to the light fixtures! And I don’t think I’ve ever seen such crisp clean fluffy white towels!! The porch was a lovely place to relax after a day of playing at the beach. We hope to return!

Cozy and convenient

We stayed 2 weekday nights during a long tour and very much enjoyed our time there relaxing from a lot of travel. The cottage is conveniently located a couple minutes walk from the waterfront and some restaurants, and other eating places and stores are only a few minutes drive away. Our host Ruth was friendly and easily accessible for any small requests. The cottage is quiet and there is a porch with seats facing the small garden.

Charming!

This lovely cottage is tucked in the back of a big quiet yard, on a quiet street. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch in the cool evening breeze. The owners thought of literally everything. The cottage was stocked, clean and full of fun decorations and books. We will definitely be back!

Self check-in was super easy! The yard was so gorgeous. Loved watching the bugs, bees and birds flutter around. This serene cottage was exactly what we needed for this weekend getaway. I was very impressed with the cleanliness (I am a professional cleaner so I have a trained eye and tend to be particular. I admit it.) Ruth was welcoming and loved on our puppies when we arrived. We felt safe and cozy the entire trip! This house radiates love and peaceful energy. Thank you so much!!

Our stay was perfect. Kizer and Daisy enjoyed the yard to run free in. That made it much easier for us. The location is ideal for Rockport area. Easy to get to your destinations with ease. Highly Recommend this place as a quiet relaxing stay.

Quaint

The beach was disappointing due to horrible mosquitoes and jellyfish. I was stung by a nettle jellyfish that had long tentacles that wrapped around my right leg. Extremely painful. We had to leave a day early because my daughter had an unexpected medical appointment this morning she couldn’t miss. Will be filing a claim for reimbursement for July 2nd.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Who wouldn't want to stay in a vintage cottage where you can pretend to be part of the past while having the amenities of the present? The cottage is in the center of town, close to the beach and downtown shopping. Close to many different restaurants and even HEB and Wal-Mart aren't far away. The property is surrounded by commercial businesses so the night time is quiet and enjoyable. The day time isn't too busy either. Forget a book to read? The public library is across the street. There are also several books in the cottage to enjoy during your stay.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

This beautiful cottage is in the middle of town but you'd never know it by the beautiful trees and garden. The wind blows through just enough to get the windchimes singing to hide the noise from the roadways. This vintage cottage really is a haven to get away from the daily grind.
