Stunning architectural Loft with ocean views

Seaboard Lofts is a modern architectural local landmark built in 1979. The duplex sits on the hill giving each identical unit the feeling of living in a high rise while enjoying 180 degree views of the ocean featuring the view of white water waves.

The lower unit that we refer to as the Loft (RNTL-014531-2021) occupies an entire floor. The Loft has 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, including a spacious master suite with walk-in closet, uniquely designed curved walls and ocean views in both bedrooms. Maximum occupancy is 5 adults. The Loft has access to a private garage where the laundry is located. There are 2 parking spaces on the property accessible from the back alley designated for the Loft.

The Loft and shares the dynamic views while having the convenience to be located in the walking district of Cardiff-by-the-Sea which features fine dining and Seaside Market. As a corner lot location, the units are located on a fairly busy street whose sporadic noise is partially addressed by the design and modern windows found throughout the units.

The units feature new remote controlled blackout, solar combo blinds and air conditioning to add to your comfort. Each 1128 square foot unit has approximately, 30 feet of glass sliding doors that opens to a 300 square foot balcony where you can enjoy the breeze while watching the waves of the ocean from the combined 1400 square feet of living, dining and kitchen areas. The unit includes a fully equipped kitchen, 65 inch HDTV, electric fireplace, high speed internet for your enjoyment.

Both units share a fenced front yard which provides an ocean view sitting area with fire pit, BBQ, outdoor shower and Jacuzzi hot tub.

RNTL-014531-2021. Our city requires our guests to sign a rental agreement and our insurance requires our guests to acknowledge the hot tub rules. Upon booking, you will receive emails that lead you to our rental agreements and the security deposit form.

The place has a wonderful view and location is great. However, there were black fleas in the beds and sofa.The rental agent didn't pay us much attention when we mentioned some bites. We finally had to move out early from our three week stay because of the number of bites.We were reimbursed for the time we moved out but never had an apology for the issue. She did say that she had a pesticide person out and they did indeed say there were fleas in the unit.

Super clean with an amazing view. Kitchen could be better equipped with items for meal prep, but with the walkability to Cardiff Market, shops and restaurants wasn't an issue. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at the Seaboard Lofts! The house was beautiful, clean and stocked with everything you need. The location was great. Easy to walk to local restaurants, Seaside Market and the beach. I would highly recommend staying here and look forward to visiting again!

Perfect location!

Condo was sparkling clean with very comfortable beds and linens. Kitchen was well stocked with surprising amenities to enjoy our time there. Location was within walking distance to beach and restaurants. Cardiff market was wonderful as well! So close to family we were visiting we will definitely be back!

Friends reunion

I stayed at the loft with two friends that were visiting from out of town. The space was clean and tasteful. It had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and each room had air conditioning. We were at walking distance from the beach, market, and restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I recommend this place and would stay there again!

Comfort and style

Seaboard Lofts did not disappoint! The space is open and airy, with quality furnishings and fixtures - there is attention to detail throughout the loft. Our hosts were gracious and attentive - easy to get in touch with completely accommodating. We had everything that we needed, bikes, beach toys, towels - plus the beds were comfy. The sea side village felt quaint with an island vibe. We will definitely return!

Cardiff Loft.

Wonderful stay. Christiana promptly answered all questions, helped us do a load of laundry with new washer and dryer. Views fantastic and walks to beach for sunset cocktails very easy walk. Pull out couch can sleep two if needed. Lower unit will hear occasionally your neighbors walking upstairs but Christina assured us not an issue past 10pm. For most part it was not a problem. Road along condo can get noisy but shut the sliding glass door, lower blackout blinds and you don’t hear the road noise. Noise Non existent in master bedroom. Frankly we stopped noticing the traffic after second day. Will be staying here again.

Great Stay!

My husband, 18 y/o daughter and I were visiting friends in Cardiff and Solana Beach for the weekend and stayed at the Loft. It was very convenient to everywhere we needed to go, and walking distance to our favorite Seaside Market. The unit was large for a 2 bed 2 bath, was very modern and felt like a new home on the interior. Parking was also convenient in the alley in front of the garage. We are always concerned when we visit California that there won’t be adequate air conditioning (we are coming from Florida). The AC was great and you could set either unit which are split systems. We didn’t find the street noise to be loud or bothersome. I’m a real estate agent and am very particular about homes and I would return without question on our next visit. Thank you Cristina for being such a wonderful host!

Amazing property with million dollar views!

We loved our stay at Cristina's condo in Cardiff. It's exactly as described--modern, comfortable, and the view is just spectacular. The location is great, walking distance to downtown Cardiff and the beach, and a very short drive to downtown Encinitas for even more dining and shopping options. A couple of things to note--there are quite a few stairs to climb, so maybe a consideration if you have an elderly/disabled person in your party. Also, the road it's next to is quite busy and gets loud during high traffic times. When the doors and windows were closed it did not bother us, but if you are very sensitive to noise, it may be too loud for you. We did sit on the deck watching the sunset every night which was about at rush hour, and honestly the cars did not deter us from enjoying that. Lastly, if you are planning to cook big meals, be aware that the kitchen is somewhat under-equipped for that. We did a lot of eating out and DoorDashing, so that was not a concern for us! Overall, a truly wonderful stay and we will definitely be back!

I lived in Cardiff for 15 years and drove by this property countless times. I now live in Escondido and wanted a beachy weekend get-away. WONDERFUL RETREAT

We stayed in the Loft Unit for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. Cristina and her family have completely refurbished this 2b/2b unit and it is beautiful. The ocean view and lovely deck are a great place to hang out. It is wonderfully outfitted and we would go back again and again. Very convenient parking. The hot tub is very clean. What you see in the pictures is true. Enjoy!!

Now with 2 independent teenagers I am looking forward to working in the hospitality industry. Hospitality is a very common trait in Romanian households. I learned it watching my mother, who always treated her guest like royalty. It’s my turn to show this Romanian hospitality to you.
