Your private lanai will allow you and your friends to look out at the spectacular views right in front of you from the privacy of Penthouse Number 17, on the top floor of the impressive Sugar Beach Resort on the enchanting island of Maui in Hawaii.

In addition to all of these beautiful scenic views, the condominium also includes features such as an oceanfront living room and lanai, a fully-equipped kitchen, central air conditioning, an in-unit safe, free WiFi internet, two TVs, cable TV, a washer and dryer, and free telephone calling to the U.S.A. mainland and Canada. 

For a truly memorable vacation experience, you can stay in the peace and comfort of Penthouse Number 17, which is a lovely, oceanfront, home away from home, in the paradise that is Hawaii.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great location, however dated condo. Shower has lint in it from the dryer, dishwasher door heavy and falls down. Views were beautiful great sunsets.

Great vacation

This is our second time staying at Sugar Beach. The apartment has everything we needed. The kids had a great time in the swimming pool. It's very convenient, close to the ABC store, McDonald's, Costco, Zen BBQ, Target, and more.

Beautiful

Of course any location on paradise is amazing, especially if you are on the beach. This condo is ON the beach. It’s north Kihei which means you are not in the busy area yet only a 10 drive to restaurants. We enjoyed our time on Maui.

Awesome place to stay-Awesome views-once you open the door Beautiful views greet you- kitchen is well stocked, you can make your way to the BBQ's and cook anything you want, separate bedroom decorated beautifully. Great views and quiet place to stay

The location was great! We were looking for a quiet getaway and that’s what we got! The views were spectacular and we loved our time here. It could use a little updating, but nothing that would keep us from going back. We liked having access to a washer and dryer in our room. They even supply laundry detergent for you to use. There’s a great sandwich shop right on property. Everyone was very friendly and helpful! Overall a great place to stay!

Beachfront top floor condo

This condominium is right on Sugar Beach, a long stretch of walkable golden sand. The sound of the surf permeates the space and soothes you to sleep. We had a wonderful and comfortable stay.

Five star review for Sugar Beach Unit PH17

If you only go to the island of Maui once, I must suggest that you choose Sugar Beach PH17! This beautiful Penthouse offers the most stunning ocean view that you could imagine! From the moment you open the door you see the beautiful blue Pacific Ocean on to a beautiful 5 acres of "sugar" sand beach, offering you your own beach for walking running, sun bathing, that is never crowded! The spacious condo leaves you wanting for nothing ! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need!! It looks through to the living area with bar stools and a dining area, plus living room with comfortable recliner, couch and beautiful coffee table and a large TV all looking out at the ocean! The bedroom is separate furnished tastefully, again with a flat screen TV! We will be back next year and staying a month this time! It is so hard to leave our beautiful Sugar Beach home! Enjoy! Great location, needs updating

We've stayed at several units in the complex over the past several years. The location and complex are unbeatable, and the location of this unit in particular is perfect for our needs. The condo could use updating, however. The carpet is tired and worn, the screens are torn and screen doors don't open and close easily. Vacasa also leaves limited supplies--such as 3 dishwasher detergent pods for an 8 day stay. Overall, it's a nice unit, but I've rented other units at Sugar Beach that exceed this one.

Great Location!

The condo is in a great location with the ocean as your backyard. The ocean view and the sounds from the waves from the lanai is so relaxing. The condo is well equipped and fully stocked with cookware, utensils, etc., which made cooking breakfast/dinner easy. The only complaint I have about this unit, is the cleanliness. It looked like it hadn't been dusted in a while, and some of the kitchen appliances weren't wiped down. There are two vents in the shower (I can only assume from the dryer), that were full of lint. Also, one of the nightstands did have water damage (I believe this was also stated in a review I read from July). The bathroom could use some updating, but all in all, this a good unit. Very quiet, with great parking and just steps away from the beach.

Good appliances, furniture is nice except for bedroom night stands which have been damaged. Beautiful very well maintained outside grounds. Good parking. Good location. Quiet and restful property. Cleanliness is very poor. - not up to standards.
