Gator Lodge is a waterfront property which sets high among towering oak trees overlooking Caddo Lake. We welcomed our first guests in 2010. Three bay boathouse with over the water deck for fishing and relaxation. Deck has table and chairs with ceiling fan. Canoe furnished for guest use. Excellent fishing off of dock.

Perfect spring break get away! Property grounds were wonderful, especially the dock. Perfect fishing spot. Towels and sheets smelled wonderful, beds and pillows soft, shower head was great… all together a wonderful place. Will be back!

We had such an amazing stay at Gator Lodge! Everything was spotless and so well kept you can tell the Sloan’s truly care about their guests’ experience. They were incredibly kind, responsive, and made everything feel easy from start to finish.The views were absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset. It was so peaceful and quiet exactly what we needed to relax and unwind. If you’re looking for a serene getaway surrounded by natural beauty, this is the perfect spot. The pier and boat dock were perfect for sitting and parking our boat for night. We will definitely be back!

This place was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Owners live next door and communicated via text. Beautiful view of Caddo Lake and the sunset from living area windows and from the deck. Bed was comfortable. Would love to stay here again.

Place was perfect for a fishing trip. The dock was amazing and the boat ramp was close. The house was super clean and cozy. Absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Caddo lake.

Peaceful haven

We had such a relaxing stay. It is tranquil with a private fishing pier. The owners were so helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The perfect place if you are looking to get away from it all!

Beautiful property, quiet, no distractions. Short 22 min drive to dining, state park, and boat tours. If you want to do nothing and enjoy nature, this the place!

Relaxing Vacation

My husband, myself, and our 2 teenagers stayed at this property and really loved it. It was very relaxing, clean, and well-suited to our needs. Furthermore, while off the beaten path, we enjoyed visiting both Jefferson and Shreveport during our stay.

Great place to stay for a fishing trip. Having the boat slip to dock your boat overnight is great. Boat launch right down the road.

Wonderful weekend!

We absolutely loved Gator Lodge! Sam and Elizabeth were so kind to us and the cabin was just as advertised. We enjoyed the privacy, the view and that the cabin was impeccably clean and neat. We'll be back and highly recommend it!

Weekend Trip

We loved it, beautiful sunsets view from the pier. Took our boat out to cruise the lake. Boat slip was nice to keep from having to load the boat up from each trip. Would stay again.
