This place was clean and had all we needed for our stay. It was conveniently located near Mt. Rainier and was easy to run into town to rent traction devices for our vehicle. Sits right on a creek and has a fire pit.
We visited over valentines, an absolute perfect getaway from the city. Not only was this property cozy it was well stocked. We were able to cook our steaks on the gas stove (couldnât figure out the grill) Complimentary pancake mix, coffee, teas, condiments, pots/pans/cups and even shampoo/conditioner/ body soap for use such an awesome bonus! Weâll definitely be back!
The 2 person hot tub was an amazing bonus too! The stars are so clear so remember to look up!
Other bonuses
*clean
*easy to find address
*private
*non noisy neighborhood
*comfortable bed
*board games/playing cards
*Hulu/Netflix/Amazon prime/YouTube we had fun watching a scary movie and getting spooked
Well stocked at least for our april 2023 stay(pans, dishes
condiments, coffee, tea, oil, sugar, ketchip, mustard, etc) small, 1BR, 1 bath with tub/shower manufactured home with nice deck overlooking trees and creek. Futon and recliner in living room. Small, clean, hot tub and fireplace also with view of trees and creek. Deer abound, saw at least 5 several times over two days. Good wifi and TV reception. Cell phones worked for delayed texting but calls were not possible. 5G cell service is available within 1 mile toward highway
The location is great, neighborhood was quiet, bed was fine, basic stocked items in kitchen new appliances which were nice. Place needs TLC for sure!!
Curtain over kitchen window is a tacked up throw blanket, cover over futon in living room is dated and cheap. Towels were good. Broken blinds, cob webs on ceilings lights and thick dust on ceiling fans. Back door doesnât work well not sure itâs even truly hinged on.
The hosts were very communicative and left a wonderful guide to the area. However, the place is not as up kept as the pictures make you believe. Some of the flooring in the bathroom felt soft and I was nervous it would fall through at any moment. There was a strangers hair in the shower and the sliding doors to the bed room and bathroom seem to need repair as well. The main issue was the front door being difficult to shut. I hate to leave this comment because they host was so nice but I want to paint a more accurate picture for others. The hot tub is a great addition however we did not use it since we were only there for the night.
1. Safety and to tag onto what another review mentioned. the front door has more than an issue. it has a rotten core and the deadbolt is the only thing keeping it closed. u can pull on the door knob and the door comes loose from the frame.
2. The pics are misleading and make it look like a light well maintained home. but the couch was not there, it was replaced by a very worn futon, blinds were damaged. a curtain/sheet hung over the sliding door, toilet seat was broken. Flooring in bathroom was very soft to stand on. In reality this is a very worn single wide mobile. not a cabin
3. Hygiene.. the place was disgusting. Urine in the toilet, human hair on the futon and toilet. black mold in fridge food debris in the sink. The owner offered to send the cleaner back but it was too late for us, this was my wife's birthday and between the safety issue and cleanliness we needed to go find something else. Working with the owner they stated if I could release the property for re rental they would refund me their portion of the accommodation.... that was nice except after an hour on the phone withVRBO. I found out he was the only one who could release it.... so not really helpful but would rather loose the money than stay in sub standard accommodations. that were neither safe or clean. To be fair I got the cleaning deposit back $57
I won't be using VRBO again if this is what they consider a quality rental
It was a quaint & cozy house. Quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the hottub and watching the deer. A perfect birthday get away.
Only suggestion is to have a BBQ cleaning brush or better sponges to clean the grill. The grill was dirty when we got there, and there was only a tiny little sponge to it with. But other than that, it was nice.
I needed a quick weekend "getaway" from my "everyday" life. This place was perfect. Small, quaint, cute, homey, warm, with lots of outdoor space and privacy. I loved everything about it, including the little hottub ~ perfect. Thanks for a wonderful escape <3
This was a great location for our trip to Mt Rainier National Park. We went to both Paradise and Sunrise sides and felt like this was a great location to stay for both places. It was very peaceful and quiet which is exactly what we wanted.
My partner and I had everything we were looking for at Deepa's place. We were there for a 2-night stay. The kitchen was well-equipped to make breakfast and dinner each day. The proximity to the park was perfect. And when the weather kept us from hiking one of the days, we had plenty to keep us entertained between the hot tub, and the short drive into Elbe where you can grab a drink or meal inside a retired train.
Neat little neighborhood in Ashford near lots of wildlife and wilderness.
Even had a fawn in the yard in the morning.
The vrbo itself is clean and well equipped.
This property is a trailer home single. It is rather narrow. We had some issues with the microwave not working initially. We chose to leave instead of waiting for it to be repaired . Decent property at a good price very near ranier
Communication was timely, no issues with checking in. Property was clean and well-equipped. Didn't get to use the hot tub, grill, or kitchen but nice to have the option. Convenient location for our hike the next morning at Mt. Rainier National Park. Highly recommend to others passing through and we will be sure to return!
Quiet, serene backyard where we enjoyed the hot tub. Comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen and nice shower. Close to Mount Rainier and would like to come back again.
When we arrived we were unable to access the lock box. There is no service of any type so we had to drive for 5 minutes in order to get a signal in order to call the property manager. She had changed the lock box code, she emailed the change - but we had no service that would have allowed us to check email. Iâm not sure why she didnât try calling? When we were finally able to get into the house it was uncomfortably hot. There was an air conditioner but it must not have been turned on earlier in the day which would have cooled the house down. Would not chose this house again.
Great location , easy to book.
Small but good for short stay.
However, our experience with a manager was horrific. We had car trouble and ended leaving 20 min late . She was angry and very argumentative wouldnât leave us to pack peacefully. Unbelievably unpleasant experience. You donât want to deal with rude people during few days of vacation.
Absolutely unnecessary. Even when discussing with the owner she ended up justifying her behavior saying she is always nice.
I donât think thatâs a good thing for business!!!
We stayed at another place for 2 nights and manager let us depart later and try were very pleasant which made our experience much more comfortable.
The owner told me to go to property 198, when the cabin is marked as 197. It was also over 100 degrees and the cabin did not have AC. It was pretty uncomfortable at times. We made it work though. Thank you for letting us use your space.
Deepa's place was cute, cozy, comfortable and quiet. The location was PERFECT for our visit to Mount Rainier National Park and it was priced very well!
It was the perfect size for my friend and me to stop in for the night! I didnât know how cold it got at night since we arenât from this area, but space heaters were provided!! Very cute, 10/10 would come back
