Grand Cottage-Proche Benodet-Heated Pool

The grand cottage is a stone longere(long house) built in the 18th century, richly restored and renovated in 2018, redecorated in 2025. My American parents fell in love with the property when touring Brittany’s fantastic coast. The 20,000m2 gardens are amazing with rare trees and flowers that change with every season, especially lovely in the Spring and Summer. We bought the grand property from a true botanist who planted trees and flowering bushes from seedlings and greffes from China, Japan, Australia and South Africa and America. Ginko Biloba, seven different varieties of Magnolia, Canadian Maple and a dozen varieties of Camellia & Rhododendron. A year round gardener maintains the gardens. The house boasts four double bedrooms, two salons, & three bathrooms. Rich, luxury furnishings, hi-tech, equipped kitchen and dining. The 12 metre pool is heated to 30 degrees Celsius. A well-stocked library of English literature and cookbooks make for pleasant reading poolside in the sun.
