This is the closest you can sleep to the beach legally! :-) Takes exactly 32 seconds to walk from the elevators to the beach. Tastefully decorated two bed, two bath, 2nd floor, beachfront unit in the Atlantis condominium at 10300 Coastal Highway. Newly renovated, all new furniture and beds (2021) including comfortable couch and love seat, large dining room table with 8 chairs, 65" TV, 47 Mbps Wifi, washer/dryer and a huge pool. The entire front of the condo is large wall-to-wall windows that open and look directly out over the ocean. From your condo you will hear seagulls and waves; you will not hear traffic. The sunroom has a 14-foot oak bar by the windows looking out over the ocean - the perfect place for your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. North OC is a fairly quiet area where you can still walk to almost anything you'd want to do. We have particularly enjoyed it in the "off" season, when there are still plenty of things to experience. Kids are very welcome!
The host was amazingly responsive and welcoming from the moment of registration. The property was just as pictured, and all of the benefits mentioned were accurate as listed. The property was clean and well-stocked with necessities. The view and proximity of the beach were amazing! Would stay again. The only 'minus' was that the air conditioning unit was located in the front bedroom closet and was very noisy, making it difficult for sleep in the front bedroom. Not a deal-breaker for me, however.
Our stay was great so great other family members rave on how beautiful our vacation home was compared to where they were staying. The ocean view breath taking. I was able to watch the sunrise while drinking my coffee. Host communication response very quick. I would definitely book again.
Condo was very clean and the view was amazing. My kids loved and the beach access was phenomenal. There was some type of dander/odor that bothered my son's and my allergies/asthma, but it was minimal (almost smelled like cigarettes, but it was very faint). Plenty of incidentals from past guests, but there was only one bath towel for the entire condo and no toilet paper. We also could not get DirectTV to work (module behind TV would not power on).
Condo is attractively decorated, very clean and comfortable. Perfect location and beautiful ocean view. Steve, the host, is friendly and attentive and communication was excellent.
We didnât want to leave with the beach steps away!
Excellent place to rest our heads. This was a last-minute overnight because we didnât want to leave Steveâs other listing, and he was even able to accommodate us getting in early. The condo is very clean and tastefully decorated and has some updates! The view - the higher you get the better the views, but this floor still provides beauty from all angles. You have a pool & beach view here. The beach is steps away and it is just perfect! The best access weâve experienced! My Dad could visit with ease which made the trip! There are chairs, toys and extras for the beach. Also extra blankets & toiletries in case you leave yours at home. The large dining table is perfect for having dinner and playing a game! The furniture is large and comfortable. The kitchen is stocked so you can âjust add foodâ and have everything you need to prepare it. The second bathroom has a very small, stall shower. The water pressure was great and thank goodness for the handheld wand. Clean but tiny. The second BR houses the HVAC so can be loud, and does get chilly. We used it for our belongings and did some shopping and such, but still noticed. Laundry and dish soaps provided - thank you Steve! Leave yours home and donât risk the mess. Parking is 60 for your entire stay, or park in free municipal parking across the street and down a 1/2 block. Condo has a large parking lot and a covered area for unloading into the carts for check-in. Clean, lovely, felt safe, would 100% stay again!
The condo was just as it was pictured. Clean and had everything we needed. The beach and pool are literally a few steps from the elevator. We drove to the boardwalk a few times. Highly recommend the drive to Assateague Island. The condo is still on the busy strip of Ocean City with plenty of shopping and restaurants but far enough from the boardwalk to avoid the major crowds.
Iâm 45, and Iâve been going to Ocean City since I was six years old. While there is tons to do here, the city itself is a little outdated and I have found it difficult to find accommodations where the hotel or condos justify the cost. This was an exception. We were pleasantly surprised⊠the condo was clean and updated. Beautiful view of the beachâŠsteps away. As Iâve gotten older, I have come to prefer North Ocean City. I feel the beaches are cleaner and the crowd is a little more laid-back. This wasnât too far north, but it wasnât in the center of the action either. The condo really had everything we could possibly need. There was probably some stuff we didnât even need to pack. The property owners were communicative and helpful. Overall, great place to stay.
We were only in town for two days for a lacrosse tournament and the weather was less than cooperative, so it was nice to have a spacious and comfortable place to stay with great beach views. The location was ideal as it is close to so many restaurant, shopping and entertainment options. The hosts were fantastic. We have stayed in many VRBOs and have never had one pre-staged with supplies for our stay including bathroom, kitchen and laundry supplies. There was no need to run out to by anything (aka toilet paper, dish soap) as it was already there. Finally, circumstances from the weather changed our schedule and the hosts were extremely accommodating and flexible (though I am sure that was impacted by the timing of the next booking).
Even lovelier than the photos, this location was in a quiet area of OCMD vs the craziness of some areas during senior week. Host was very helpful with suggestions and great with communication. Would absolutely stay here again!
We came to OCMD for a basketball tournament and have been doing this for years. We have stayed at hotels each time with two teens. This condo was perfect for us. I wish I would have found this years ago! It was very clean and spacious, and the location was close to the Convention Center. Steve was a great host, kept us informed and even offered an extra night at no charge. The condo has everything you need to feel at home, much better than any hotel!
The property was lovely and just as shown in the photos. Beautiful view and we loved playing cribbage at the bar overlooking the ocean. The only negative about the stay was out of the property owners control - the building was putting stone up in the elevator bank at the entrance. The construction sounds were going all day for both days we were there and we werenât able to open the windows and enjoy the ocean.
The condo was exactly as advertised. Clean and orderly. Convenient to the golf courses where we were playing. Good restaurants not far away. We paid the parking fee for 2 cars, it was reasonable and secure made it easy to get get to the condo and to our destinations. The owner was very congenial always was quick to answer my inquiries. We hope to use this rental again when we return to ocean city.
The condo is very nicely appointed & very comfortable. Itâs convenient to get to & reasonably priced. Our weather was terrible all weekend but the place was very nice to stay in.
Great location right on the water. Nice furniture and decor. The floors had not been swept in a long time and there were black long hairs all over the master bath; on the wall, in the shower, on the floor, on a bar of soap in the shower and in the hand towel hanging in the master bath.
Stayed for the weekend, was nice and quiet, well put together. On top of that the views are nice and itâs practically on the beach. I have no complaints will 100% book again
We're an empty-nester couple from the Baltimore area; Karyn is a psychologist working with developmentally disabled adults and I'm a government scientist. We purchased this condo during the pandemic as a quiet place we could actually get to since travel was discouraged. Over the winter of 2020 we both spent some days working there remotely and furnishing and decorating the place. We just loved the area and were surprised how much "life" there was even in the middle of winter. People definitely enjoy the beach year-round, the biking is awesome and many of the restaurants are open throughout the year.
In past years we have stayed at a number of rental properties in OC and Fenwick and we certainly always enjoyed it! That said, there are a few considerations with respect to location and design that can greatly improve your experience. 1. Location - North OC is not downtown. It is much quieter and far more spacious but still completely walk-able. And of course downtown OC is an easy drive or bike or bus ride away when you want to visit the boardwalk. 2. Structure - Traffic noise can wear you down a bit on vacation, especially when you're staying along Coastal Highway. Atlantis is set way back from the highway; actually just a few feet behind the sand dunes. Plus it is made almost completely of concrete - thick concrete! Even the walls between the units are concrete, which means you hear the ocean, not the cars or the neighbors. It is a huge plus, in our experience.
Location, location, location! Beachfront, in as enjoyable an area as you're likely to find along the Delaware and Maryland beaches. Very walk-able - we almost never drive when we're here. We love it and are pretty sure you will too!
