very satisfied with repeated stays

We have stayed here several times. The location can't be beat for our interests, the apartment is on the first floor with easy stairs, it is mostly well-equipped (the cooktop is a little challenging to regulate), and reasonably quiet.

Great location, great neighborhood

Convenient to everything we wanted to see. We also decided our spot was in the best neighborhood! Good shopping, open market, gelato, restaurants. We had an amazing dinner at Giordi, melt in your mouth lasagna. We really enjoyed our stay.

Location

This location was great for walking to many of the sites you’d want to see in Rome. The only downside was the price for the quality of the place and the air conditioning did not work well in the living room, only the bedroom got comfortable for sleeping.

Location Location Location

This is my second stay at this apartment that feels like a home. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen while not fancy is fine for preparing simple meals, there is a washing machine for laundry so all the bases are covered-as to location it is a very short walk to most of the major sites but feels small enough to let you get your bearings and feel familiar with the neighborhood- l would stay again.

Location was outstanding & felt very safe

Location of this property was outstanding & felt very safe. Pantheon is a fabulous spot and very close by are heaps of great eating spots and everything you need. The property is very old but we were able to settle in. There are things that need fixing like the air-conditioning in both the bedroom and lounge was very noisy and power sockets need fixing back into the wall. The bed was very comfortable. Updated sheets and towels would make a huge difference as these were ok but at that stage where replacement would be great.

Perfect accommodation in Rome's most charming area

This apartment was perfect for our needs. It is clean, well equipped with all the basics provided, quiet and conveniently situated for central Rome. It is on the first floor with no elevator. The caretaker was there to give us all the information we needed. As ever, the disposal of rubbish is an issue which the city seems to be tackling head-on. This does mean having to take rubbish to a central collection point. An added bonus - choral music from the church of the Venerable English College across the street!

Bonne expérience. Très très bien placé. Cuisine comme décrite. Wifi ok. Lits confortables. Le seul bémol a été le manque de pression de l’eau. WC /lavabo … douche … Rien de dramatique pour 2 personnes !

A wonderful apartment in a fabulous location

I believe that this was the fourth time that I have stayed in the apartment. It is very comfortable and in a very lively yet safe location in the city. One can walk to almost any of the ancient Roman monuments, though I like the convenience of the 24 hour bus pass. The proprietors are very responsive to seemingly trivial problems. The light bulb over the sink went out and my husband needed it to shave. It was switched out in a matter of hours. The books and tourist materials provided in many languages are very useful. It was another very pleasant stay in Rome!

Very good location

Spacious apartment for two people and ideally situated in a lively neighborhood in the center of Rome. If you go in the winter or the beginning of Spring, be aware the heaters are very noisy and the one in the bathroom does not function at all. We had problems communicating with the owner at first, we received the address of the apartment only 48 hours before our arrival. We tried to reach her through Homelidays but the phone number they had on file was not the right one. We also had to ask for the reimbursement of our deposit after a week, the owner had neglected to post it on our credit card. The kitchen is small but adequate, it has a nice view of the street life down below (first floor apartment). An updated list of TV channels would have been appreciated. The numbers do not correspond anymore. The coffee machine did not work. We had a nice stay once we were there, but this rental needs improvement.

An ideal location

My wife and I have stayed in this apartment twice for multi-week visits to Rome. The location is ideal for me to walk to the Vatican Library and for both of us to walk to all our favorite places in the historic center of Rome. The apartment is located up a single easy flight of stairs, and is clean and bright and nicely furnished. Since is it just a minute from Piazza Farnese and two-three minutes from Campo de Fiori, one has easy access to food shopping (excellent bakery, butcher, salumeria, latteria, plus the fruit and vegetables at the Campo stalls). By branching out a short distance from the touristy Campo you can find in several directions excellent restaurants (we wish we had tried Taverna Lucifero earlier so we could have eaten there several times, and we also loved the food at Grappolo d'Oro). The street is generally quiet, except for the late Friday night noise of bar-patrons walking home.The kitchen is adequate for breakfast and lunch, but (compared to apartments we have had in Milan and Venice) somewhat limited for making dinner on the nights you don't want to eat out. The washing machine works fine and air drying on a rack works well. The downsides we have noted are the cramped shower and the low Roman water pressure, but these are outweighed by the other features and the location. Lucilla (the owner) herself is very welcoming and helpful, and we hope to return in the future.

Location très agréable

Nous avons apprecié cet appartement.Assez grand,très bien décoré et disposant d une belle bibliothèque .Tres calme malgré la proximité de la rue.Quel plaisir que d entendre souvent sonner les cloches des églises environnantes.Situation vraiment idéale ,on peut aller partout à pied sans être fatigué à la fin de la journée.Seul bémol puisqu il en faut un quand même pour être crédible : la douche est étroite et le débit d eau est très faible . Il faut un peu de temps pour se doucher,ça tombe bien puisqu on est pas pressés.....Enfin,la propriétaire est charmante et pas embêtante du tout.Je recommande vraiment cette adresse.

"Charmant appartement au centre de Rome(à 30 mètre du palais Farnese).Le double vitrage serait souhaitable, car un peu bruyant. Attention le jour du départ, si vous laissez les valises dans l''entrée, ne rien laisser dans le frigo : la femme de ménage s''est embarquée une poche remplie de bons fromages italiens et de pâtes fraîches...De quoi se régaler pendant deux semaines aux frais des touristes!"

When the apartment is servised, the order is to take away all left overs, in order to serve properly next guest. Unfortunatelly we agreed to host the luggage of the next leaving and we had no previous notice that in the fridge there were "valuable items"! And the cleaning service took everything aways, as usual. We are very sorry for our guest, especially because it was surely a good piece of the holiday to take back home! But we will continue in hosting luggage for sometime when you are leaving: just, please, let us know if there is anything else, a part from your luggage, that you are taking home! For this guest a Kilo of PARMIGIANO cheese, a bottle of red wine, and fresh baked bread, will be offer on their next stop in Rome (not necessary in my apartment in Rome).

Great location

We stayed a week and the apartment had what we needed. Cannot beat the location. Close to everything! I thought having covers on the duvet would be a good idea as these could be washed we aside than entire duvet. In other VRBO properties we have stayed at, the owner had some detergent for the washer. The person who met us was very knowledgeable. There was an issue with the toilet that was supposed to be looked at but hadn’t by the time we left. It didn’t ruin out stay but getting things fixed quickly can make a difference to the guests. Thank you for having a nice place to stay!

I love travel. both for holiday or work , usually renting a local place . I developed a clear vision of what you need once you are in a new place, for any of the thousands possible reasons taking you to Rome, starting from an efficient air conditioning in both rooms, a kitchen, a laundry facility and home and an area where you will love to stay and use a set for your best pictures. Location is perfect if you are a tourist : you can walk to any place in the centre of Rome in minutes, not hours. If you in Rome for study or business the location is again very suitable for all your necessity, making your daily life very easy.

My apartment in Rome has been within my family in the last 50 years. it has been always well loved . If old times are still there, we have also a double glazing windows, full set of updated appliances, a complete new bathroom, air conditioner (warm/cool) all over, Smart TV....etc...etc...
