Welcome to our fully remodeled home on the beautiful westside of Santa Cruz.
Be walking distance to Natural Bridges State Beach. The westside is home to the best new cafes, bakeries, breweries, markets and West Cliff Drive where you can stroll all the way down to the Wharf.

Open concept living with modern and bright kitchen, fully equipped with island and convenient bar window to backyard.
Dining room and living room designed for entertaining.
Master suite and master bath tucked away for privacy with 3 other bedrooms and hall bath conveniently accessed from main hallway.
Bedrooms with new mattresses and luxurious cotton linens/duvets to satisfy the pickiest of sleepers and cleanliness needed during Covid times.
Indoor stacked washer and dryer as well as 2nd set washer dryer in garage.

The house's front yard and backyard spaces landscaped for maximum comfort. New BBQ kitchen island, outdoor furniture, fire pit, heater, dining table and turf backyard for year round enjoyment.

Another month in paradise!

We loved this house so much during our 2022 stay that we came back for a month in 2023. The house featured many great new features including an outdoor patio kitchen and a huge outdoor sofa in the back yard. The weather was not quite as nice as we had last year, but the house was warm and cozy, and a great location for cliff walks and excursions in and around Santa Cruz. The hosts are super-responsive and helpful and readily available for any questions. Check-in was a breeze as well. I hope we can visit again in 2024, thanks!

High quality, attention to detail, works for diverse uses

What stands out about this home is the quality and attention to detail. The home is beautifully decorated and fully outfitted like a personal home instead of a rental property. Elaine has thought of everything both in the house setup and in the instructions and information. If you have any questions or needs, she is readily available both before your arrival and during your visit. This was the perfect home for our stay in Santa Cruz. Our visit was a mix of vacation, work from home and family time. Our group of 4 adults and 1 child (2 grandparents, 2 parents and a 13 month old) stayed here for the month of August. Our daughter and family of four who are temporarily based in Santa Cruz live nearby. The home was the base for the group. The home’s layout and amenities supported our wide range of uses. During the week our son and DIL were able to work from home using a bedroom and the garage as their offices (who knew ping pong tables make great desks!). The kitchen is large and fully equipped which worked great for nightly family dinners, baking with my granddaughters and birthday celebrations. There is also an amazing outdoor kitchen/grill which we used many nights. There are three living space / hang-out areas and many dining options (we ate dinner outside most nights). And there are many entertainment options – ping pong, pool table, fire pit (we had lots of smores), TV/cable, bikes, beach supplies and more. It was an easy home to have a small, very mobile child Elaine was able to provide a high chair which was a big help. The only potential challenge was bath time without a tub. This was easily solved with the blow-up tub we brought. It that worked very well and was a big hit with our granddaughter. The home’s location is great. We liked that it was near the beach, coffee shops, and groceries but a bit away from all the touristy busy areas. Perfect for daily walks along Cliff Drive, a short walk to the Natural Bridges State Beach, coffee shops and more. The wharf and Boardwalk were just a short bike ride or drive. We would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend you try it.

Perfect host and home!

Our stay at Elaine’s beautiful home on the westside of Santa Cruz was truly wonderful. The location cannot be beat. We walked the half block to West Cliff drive every day to stroll, bird watch, and take in the beautiful sunsets. The house was immaculate, and the kitchen was spacious with every appliance imaginable available. The large island allowed our family to cook together without being crowded. ALL the beds in the house were comfortable, which can be an issue sometimes in rentals. There was lovely outdoor space with a big comfortable couch to read in and a grill and firepit to use in the evenings. The garage had a ping pong table and a pool table and there were bikes that our kids took out to cruise around. There was a huge TV with Xfinity cable (we did watch some Olympics). We took drives down to Carmel by the Sea and up to Half Moon Bay and the string of beaches along the coast. We truly had a magical 4 weeks staying in Santa Cruz, and this house was the primary reason.

The best stay!

This is a beautiful piece of property in a very safe and convenient location. The home is well kept and very hospitable. The open floor plan lends itself to family gatherings. It is appointed beautifully and very comfortable. The games are an added plus for fun entertainment. The beds are so comfortable and the linens very cozy! We all had a wonderful wonderful time. Our host was helpful, friendly and available for any questions. We would definitely want to come back!

Amazing stay off west cliff drive

We rented this house for two months and really enjoyed our stay. Elaine and Hiep are great hosts and made us feel welcome. The property is in a great location, a block from Cliff Drive and a few minutes away from the beach. The beach chairs, umbrella and outdoor wash for your sandy feet were great for our daily trip to the beach. The house has a lot of entertainment options including ping pong, pool table and foosball. The kitchen was fully stocked and the beds/linen were luxurious. The front yard and backyard seating/dining areas with heaters allowed us to socialize outdoors. The house is very well decorated from the inside. Highly recommend this place.

We are an active family of 4 with two growing teenage girls. Our time here in Santa Cruz is always for decompression- we really feel how much slower life is here and wanted to share this magical place with our friends. Our favorite things to do include playing volleyball over at the Twin Lakes State beach and biking to Wilder Ranch. Don't miss an early AM stroll before the crowds come and don't miss catching sunset - it's best in the West!
