Let your worries slip away at this newly updated 6-bedroom, 5-bathroom South Padre Island vacation rental house that is just a short walk from the Gulf of Mexico! The ‘SPI Blue Dolphin House Features 2,700 square feet of updated living space along with a small private heated pool, hot tub, patio, and screened-in desks. Walk a half-block down to the beach to swim in the Gulf of Mexico and dine at waterfront restaurants or stay back and relax poolside with a cocktail in hand! No access to the garage. Important to note that the living space is on the 2nd floor (Kitchen, Dinning, Livingroom).

Good location, nice house

Plenty of beds and bathrooms. Great location! Kitchen design was tight on the cooking side but it was stocked with sooo many cooking items which was great!! Owner was very responsive also. 👍

Father's Day Getaway

The overall property was exquisite, tranquil, and inviting. It was remarkably spacious, immaculately clean, and meticulously organized. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay in South Padre, particularly appreciating the ability to visit the beach and then return to the property to unwind in the pool. The property earned a perfect score of 10 out of 10 and comes highly recommended to anyone.

Great location next to the beach. Good amount of room for our group. The home is well loved and could use some updating... Generally clean but some some smaller things...bathtub that doesn't drain well, closet doors that don't stay on their tracks, could have washed floor mats that had "hair" & dirt in them. . Had a power outage, which was no one's fault and apparently common, but larger/powerful flashlights for each room and/or candles would be nice while waiting. In general, worked out very well.

Accommodating Stay

The property was very nice, open and clean. I had no clue the kitchen was on the 2nd floor, that took a little getting used to. Considering having a handicap due to foot injury and a 74 year old, not too fit. Pool was very small which I was not able to pickup by the online pictures. I felt I wasn't able to quiet get the full view of it being that small. The people that clean and get the property ready for the next quest should make sure that all remotes are in the proper rooms. I've stayed in other rentals with pools and they had the pool people come during the time we were there, like in the middle of the week to run filter and clean. Not completely complaining but mentioning things that I feel needed to be addressed.

A generous host

This place was amazing! We felt taken care of and there was so much space for 8 adults and 4 kiddos. The private pool was perfect for evening hangouts. We were super grateful for the open communication and amazing amenities.

Awesome rental!

This is a wonderful, charming rental. The ratio of bathrooms to bedrooms is the best I've seen. Lots of amenities, and only a half block from the beach. We did have an issue with the first floor AC and dishwasher, but the owner was great at jumping right on it and communicating progress throughout our stay. The second floor has a screened in porch with very comfortable furniture. Truly a delightful stay!

Fantastic Vacation Property

Had a wonderful vacation at this property. The owner was responsive and helpful to all requests and discussions. The place is very well equipped for families. Sand toys, kids books, boogie boards, beach towels, wagons with wide wheels for hauling things to/from the beach. Beach is a short walk and easy. Beach access point has a fresh water rinse. The pool and hot tub at the house are great and nicely heated. Hard to imagine how it could have been better.

What a great vacation spot

We have an amazing week at this beautiful property. They had everything we needed including kitchen supplies, linens and even water toys. The pool was delightful. The owner and property manager were quick to address any issues. Would highly recommend for big family fun!

Great value

Janet made the process super easy. She was very accommodating and responsive. The house is also nicely located. The beach is a short walk away, there was a nice coffee shop and market a very short walk away. The house is also nicely stocked with dishes, utensils, beach chairs and toys. The rooms were comfortable and everything was pretty clean. The only criticism would be that the rooms and pool area photographed much larger than it was in person. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and for the price/fees when compared to other properties it was great value for sure.

Great Time

Beautiful decor and spacious rooms. The kitchen was fully stocked. Kids room had lots of toys and games. Love that the house is close to the beach and easy access to restaurants. Pool and hot tub was a huge plus for me. The owner was very helpful when we had a question about the cable. I would definitely rent here again.
