THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Horseshoe Bay is an amazing community located in the Texas Hill Country. We are 15 minutes away from Marble Falls, about an hour from Austin, 3 hours from Houston, and 3.5 hours from Dallas. Lake LBJ is certainly a highlight, but don’t forget the hill country vineyards, as well as Fredericksburg, are only a short drive away. The golf course is located within 2 miles. You will have no problems finding things to do in this wonderful centralized location!! There is so much to see in the beautiful hill country!

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
* No smoking inside of the home. Outdoor smoking permitted. Butts are to be disposed of in the butt can provided. Any violation will result in a $200 fee.
* No dogs allowed. Any pets brought onto the property will be subject to a $500 fee.
* Must be at least 25 years old to book.
* Max Occupancy is 15 people.
* Please avoid using glass tableware or glass bottles near the lake.
* Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am, please be mindful of the neighbors. No loud music.

Perfect spot for our Family Christmas!

This home is so big and roomy and laid out just right. We loved that there were so many places to gather, both indoors and outside. We’ll recommend this spot to family and friends!

Great House for a Family Get Away

The house was very clean and kid-friendly, and the location is great. The only hiccup that was easily fixed was there wasn't any body wash or shower products in the bathrooms and I should have brought some more oil/spices for cooking - just sharing so you can pack properly. We had a great time and loved the house!

Wonderful property

The house we stayed in was perfect. We really enjoyed how spacious and quiet it was. The neighborhood was very cute and perfect for walking. The view of the lake was also a great back drop for some family photos. We would 10/10 recommend!!!!

Great gathering place

We were in the area for a family reunion. A group of us stayed here because of the closeness to Quail Point Lodge. Katy’s home was perfect for our 4 families together before going to the larger reunion. Plenty of space for our little ones to walk about. We all especially liked the kids play area. I very nice surprise! The patio was gated to prevent our little ones from roaming unsupervised by the water front, All in all, if we visit Horseshoe Bay again and need space, this will be top on our list.

Great for Gathering

The home was spacious with enough room for our three families. We were underwhelmed with some of the hospitality touches such as not having enough tp or trash bags, and left with an empty water jug...luckily these are easy fixes. The porch, yard, and boat deck were great spaces, and the location provided quick access to LBJ.

Monica, so sorry you were disappointed with the trash bag and toilet paper count. We leave a starter count for those that forget to bring the appropriate necessities. In a home this large with 5 bathrooms, we supply 2 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom for a total of 10 per stay. We assume that this is a good start for those who might have forgot to bring some. In reference to the trash bags, we have 3 trash cans in the kitchen, all lined with a bag as well as an additional two bags left in each trash can underneath the original bag. We also have the large trash can in the garage, also with extra bags provided. I apologize for not having an extra water jug out, as this was a recent amenity addition. I appreciate your feedback and just realized that I did not include any information under the property description about our providing starter count supplies only. I will correct this moving forward. Thanks again. All feedback is good feedback!

Fantastic House for Large Family Gathering

Our family loved this house and property. Each couple had a private bedroom and bathroom, which was a hit! The three boys really liked the bunk room. We had plenty of room to spread out in the living area, and outside. We especially enjoyed the deck over the water for our morning coffee and evening drinks. We all had fun in the water with the pedal boat, paddle board, fishing, and the jet skis and pontoon boat we rented. We were able to watch the fireworks from the deck on the 4th, which was great. The kitchen provided everything we needed. We were also happy there was a smoker and grill available. Katy was extremely responsive to our questions before and during our visit. Our family highly recommends this property!

Great Property

What a great house for a family gathering! The property is beautiful and right on the canal. We were able to watch the 4th of July fireworks from the back porch. The canal was too mucky to swim in but we really enjoyed the paddle board, kayak and small watercraft to get to the lake which is very close by using the canal. The house had everything we needed. We had an issue with the AC leaking but Katy addressed it right away upon notification. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which was absolutely wonderful. It was a bit of a surprise that the kids bedroom didn't have doors or curtains which could not be used as intended for kids to sleep in as it is connected to the main areas. I would definitely recommend this location for a trip to the area. We truly enjoyed our stay with our family there.

The Little Things Make The Difference

I have had great stays at homes in past. This stay the little things made the difference. The house was great and was everything and more that was described. The home has great comfortable conversation areas inside and out, and you can find plenty of shade to stay out of the heat as well. The host is very attentive to your needs and quick to respond to questions. Big bonus was a large ice machine in the garage as well as. the ice maker in the bar area. The garage can hold 2 cars and there is plenty of parking in the driveway as well. The young ones have an awesome play area in this very spacious house. There is also plenty of yard space outside in the back yard. The grill is really nice and big and you have all the utensils you need to feed a large family. Lastly, the cove is quaint and quiet but close to the resort and not far from the main marinas. You have plenty of space to park a boat and or jet skis with 6 cleats to tie down. My family really enjoyed and hope to be back soon!

Great value but dated home

The home was pretty much exactly the way it is described in the listing. It is close to Horseshoe Bay Resort and the neighborhood is very nice and quiet. The layout of the rooms is kind of like a maze and the interior is very dated, but I believe that’s taken into consideration with the price so no real complaints there. We had 3 adults, 2 teenagers and 5 young children and everyone had enough space. I was excited about the home being on the water since we rented a boat for one day and the boys wanted to fish off the deck. Just be aware that it is down a narrow channel, so it is tough to get a boat in and out. There were a ton of spiderwebs etc by the boat dock area and patio areas but I’m not sure what could be done about that. The upper deck by the boat area didn’t have any shade and temperatures were well above 100 so we didn’t get to use that area much. I did notice there was a commercial grade blower in the garage the day we were leaving. Would have been nice to know about that when we got there so we could use it to get rid of some of those webs and things. One exemplary thing is the home has a functioning commercial grade ice maker…this was an awesome surprise!! The home comes with plenty of cooking utensils and functioning appliances.

Nos hubiera gustado q nos dijeran q días pasaba la basura , no tuvimos suerte y se nos empezó a acumular mucha . Tmb sería bueno q en los baños hubiera cosas básicas como shampoo , jabón de cuerpo , había jabones de manos líquidos pero usados, se vería mejor poner nuevos aunque sean más chicos . Poner suficientes bolsas de basura, entre otros detalles q te hacen más agradable la estancia . La Utileria de la cocina ponerla más nueva , había vasos de todos tipos , etc Es como si hubiéramos llegado a casa de una tía q salió de viaje y q nos la prestó . No sentimos el confort de muchas casas a las q hemos llegado q de vdd se dedican a rentarlas y tienen muchos detalles q te hacen muy placentera la estadía . La casa muy buena , de muy buen tamaño , en general todo bien pero pueden haber cosas q te hagan sentir una mejor experiencia

Annual family reunion

This property was perfect for our family. The bedroom layout accomodated our multiple family member groups and their children and handicap needs. Having bedrooms and living and kitchen facilities available on one floor with additional bedrooms and baths upstairs worked out great.

Long weekend

This was a great property for our family with plenty of space not to be on top of one another. The kids playroom was a big help for our toddlers. The only downside at all was the stairs outside down to the yard and boat house. Kids had to be carried. But overall it was perfect for us and we will be back.

What a fabulous time!!

The pictures don’t do this place justice! This home is SO beautiful, the beds are extremely comfortable, this kids bunk room is so cute, the Master is amazing, we loved that all the bedrooms had their own bathroom and the kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need! Our group of 3 separate families with kids had more than enough space! Adults and children alike both loved spending time fishing and enjoying the evenings on the deck over the boat lift! We rented a pontoon boat as well and had plenty of room to park it at the boat house! Do yourself a favor and rent this property, you won’t be disappointed! Katy was the best to work with and was always available if I had a question! We will definitely be back again soon! Thank you so much Katy for sharing your beautiful home with us!
