TIDEMASTER of North Myrtle Beach... deluxe oceanfront condos from Thomas Beach Vacations. These popular condos are always an excellent choice for couples and families. Relax in the large beachside swimming pool or lounge on the poolside sundeck. The tykes will enjoy their own cozy kids' pool, too! (only 18" deep) Pools open the Friday prior to Easter, through October 31st.

LOCATED IN OCEAN DRIVE, Tidemaster puts you just five short blocks from Main Street where you'll find a variety of shops, popular cafes, and an exciting nightlife. Catch one or more FREE family-friendly outdoor concerts at the Main Street beachfront "Horseshoe". The City provides this fun concert series each week, all summer long.

Terrible

Not only was the check-in process excruciating, taking over an hour to wait in a long line, with many frustrated people. When my daughter and I finally arrived at the property, we walked in, and it smelled horrible. There were stains on the floor, the couch, the counters, and the bathroom. We chose to leave the property immediately and will never book with them again.

Could Wait to Return Home

The condo was not clean at check-in. Also, the listing indicated a queen size bed. However, it was a very uncomfortable full size bed. There were nights my husband and I had to take turns sleeping on the sofa.

Not the vacation I was hoping for with the Tidemaster

We were disappointed with this condo due to the small size of it & the very small bed I shared with my husband. Also, someone came into our unit while we were not there twice. They had no reason to come into our space without us present. Also, the balcony is right over the pool which gives you no privacy whatsoever. One elevator was not working the whole week and parking is across the street, which was a hassle. I would not recommend this place to anyone & will not be returning.

Great location- Not very clean

The condo is small but super cute! We have a family of 5, including 3 kids under the age of 10. It offered us a great location and perfect beach access for our family. There were a few cons though: 1-it was listed with bunk beds but the ceiling in the top bunk was so low my 5 year old could not even fit on the top 2-the pull out couch needs a better mattress and the frame seemed to be bent. The top of the bed was leaning back, so it would not offer a comfortable place for an adult to sleep. All 3 of my kids slept on the pull out couch together since the bunk beds did not work for them 3- the bed in the bedroom is smaller than a queen which was listed when I booked the condo, I received a text letting me know this about 2 weeks before arrival but at that point it was too late to make any changes to my reservation 4- my biggest complaint would be the cleanliness of the condo. Finding hair in the freezer makes me question how it is being cleaned? Also, I noticed hairs throughout the bathroom floor and shower which is just gross. Along the baseboards you can tell it hasn’t been swept in quite sometime. I am definitely not a clean freak by any means, things like this just make me not comfortable in the environment which is how I felt. Overall I would rate it a 3.5 out of 5 as the location was perfect and the decor was very cute!

The process was smooth and the description of the property was very accurate. We had a great week. The only hiccup was in getting clean linens upon checkin but that was remedied soon after we arrived.

Fit the need

Communication, with Thomas, prior to the stay was solely made through email. Why were we required to visit the office if the check-in materials (door code) could have been sent via email too? Wasn’t a big deal but traveling all day, this exercise made the day longer. The condo was clean and decorated well for what it was… a 20-30 year old building. Noticed several electrical outlets needed replaced due to normal use. The linens were of poor quality but we were provided with plenty so no calls for extra. The pool and beach access were excellent. The balcony space was exceptional for drinking coffee in the morning and leaning back to relax. Door codes to the elevator and stairs were an added security feature not available at all complexes. The security guard was very nice and helpful. Our over all experience was enjoyable.

Beach Vacation

The Property itself was everything we wanted and could not have asked for a better place to stay. Size of the condo, amenities and location were perfect for us. Quite area, not to busy but within 5 miles of everything you would want to do. Our only issue was with the property management themselves. We were supposed to check in at 3pm. however we were told along with many others that our room wouldn't be ready til possibly 5pm. We walked around and waited for the text that never came. At 445pm we went back and was told again it wasn't ready and then someone just gave us a package with a key and elevator code and advised not to try to go in until after 5pm. no details of where the property was, where the overflow parking was at, etc. Very conveniently they sent us on our way as they closed. we get to our condo and found after unloading everything due to the way the drop off is designed at this location, that the key code nor elevator code did not work. we attempted to call the office for help and could not reach anyone due to closing. called the emergency after hours line and had to stand outside of our room for an hour and half while on hold to get to someone. they finally gave us a correct key code to get in. however, no one would ever contact us back regarding the incorrect elevator code. no one ever responded to our messages left for a call back and we even reached out to the owner of the property management who refused to help us or return our call. I will gladly return to this property and stay but never will i use Thomas Beach rental properties again. we were thankful to have had nice people who stayed there that helped us and provided us with a usable elevator code.
