We loved the space! The patio out back is great for morning coffee. The beds are comfortable. Everything is super clean. Very much recommend. Would def stay here again.

Overall the house was good condition did see a few roaches while there did not like. Did have a bit of issue with wifi not wanting to work properly after a while would stop. The neighborhood was quiet but little messy looking at outside surroundings poor area. When 1st went an looked at area when got the information b4 moving in wanted my money back but host wanted to still charge me even if i wanted to cancel i do believe that more pics of the house should have been added an looking back i see they have added more pics but as u can tell we ended up staying and liking it overall. Hope this help the next person. If u dont like staying around a neighborhood that look messy man but again the overall stay was good

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay was very disappointing. When we arrived, we found a roach and hair in the shower, which immediately made the place feel unclean. The air conditioning didn’t work properly and stayed stuck at 78F, making the room uncomfortably warm. We ended up having to sleep with the balcony door open just to cool off, which wasn’t ideal given that the neighborhood felt unpleasant and a bit unsafe.On top of that, the remotes for the TVs didn’t work, and we were initially given the wrong door code and WiFi password, which was frustrating after a long day of travel although the host did send us the new codes after calling. Overall, this property did not meet basic expectations for cleanliness, comfort, or maintenance. I would not recommend staying here until significant improvements are made.

St. John’s

It took a little while to be able to check in, and the host to respond, but that was fine. The pictures of the house are accurate, but there were so many cockroaches in the kitchen especially around the stove area and there were flies everywhere when we got there. The house also smelled a little bit like cigarettes. The upstairs bedrooms and bathroom were clean, but the light and fan in bedroom 2 doesn’t have a switch or remote to turn them off. The light just has black duck tape over it but light still peaks through and with the fan on it makes the light look like it’s flickering. We didn’t spend much time at the house since we were sight seeing in Austin, but the times we were there was a bit uncomfortable with all of the bugs and stuff.

We have not had any complaints of roaches and we do have monthly pest control services. We also have a strict no-smoking policy. The ceiling fan was replaced and is in working order.

Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, the house smelled incredibly strongly of cigarette smoke throughout the property and the area surrounding area felt unsafe, which made us uncomfortable staying there. We ultimately decided to leave and book a hotel elsewhere. We reached out to the host about the issue and followed up regarding a potential refund, but we did not receive a response. I would recommend that future guests be aware of this before booking

We loved the condo, it was even better than expected. The updates are nice, it was clean and we loved the fenced yard for our dogs. Would definitely stay again!!

Close to Social Life

The area is hit and miss. It is close to a lot of fun restaurants, two good coffee places, and easy access to I10. Upon arrival, it was late and we noticed that the neighboring units had some construction. There was a big cleanliness issue as I do not believe that a cleaning crew made it to the unit before our arrival, but the beds were made. There were a lot of roaches in the kitchen so we kept our food in the refrigerator. One of my friends didn't even stay with us. It was also very, very dusty. Upon leaving, I noticed that the A/C filter had not been changed in a very long time. There was also an issue with temperature as during the day, the upstairs was very hot and the downstairs was cool/appeared to be working. Bring your own board games, but the host was nice enough to leave two-three games. The code to the front lock was easy to remember. There was also a locker room lock on the back patio wood door that we did not have access to as the unit comes with a sliding door. The host was nice to address my concerns with cleanliness after the trip. There was a delay of over 24 hours and miscommunication where they did not receive my photos via this website or text message. Upon hearing my concern, I did receive a refund of my cleaning fee.

We have hired a new cleaning company and have had no issues since. The roach problem has also been taken care of by a professional pest control company

A Peaceful Place to Decompress

On my recent trip to Austin, I had the good fortune to stay in this wonderful condo in the St. Johns neighborhood. It was clean, inviting, and so restful. Everything I needed was available including towels, toilet paper, and shampoo/conditioner. The queen bed in the master bedroom was so comfortable and I camped out on one of the sofas downstairs when I needed down time. The neighborhood was a quiet working class area with a lot of character situated very close to I-35, which connects directly to downtown Austin. I wouldn't hesitate to stay with this renter within this unit or another they own.

awesome experience!

this was my first time in Austin and the property was conveniently located near everything we had planned. it was such a cute place to stay and exactly what was listed. if i ever come back to Austin, i’d definitely stay here again. homeowners were such pleasant people to contact and very accommodating.

Great weekend getaway! (We even extended our trip!)

The owner had a quick response time to all of my questions and requests. When we arrived the thermostat wasn’t on the proper setting so he was able to get the thermostat company on the phone to help us troubleshoot the issue. The issue was resolved in minutes! We loved this location and Austin so much that we even extended our stay! The photographs accurately portrays the property so there were no surprises. One thing to note is that there are no baking sheets- so be mindful when you shop for groceries. Overall a great stay and I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Austin!
