Luxury Lodge in the Wilderness

If you are wanting to get away from it all, this is the place for you. Whether it be a romantic weekend, horseback riding, family getaway or hunting/hiking adventure, you can find it here at 3 Oaks Cabins. Come enjoy nature while staying at "The Lodge". The Lodge is a two bedroom and one bath with 640 sq. feet of living space, large screened in porch with fire pit. Just the right spot to enjoy some smores in the woods.
Our property adjoins Pennyrile State Forest, consisting of 15,468 acres of public access. You can access horse trails from the cabin for excellent hiking, riding or hunting. We are located just 4.5 miles from Pennyrile Forest State Park Lodge and 12 miles from Lake Beshear. It is time to put away the cell phones and laptops and enjoy GOD’s artwork of nature.

The property was clean and all of the appliances and technology worked well. We really enjoyed the natural setting. When needed, the lodge was about 15 mins from any gas station or store.

Clean and spacious cabin in a beautiful wooded setting

Great property. Close to the State forest and trailhead on property. Spacious area where you can spread out. Very enjoyable. Our favorite aspect is the screened in deck. So peaceful to sit in the mornings and play games in the evening.

Another relaxing vacation

My husband and I enjoyed another relaxing vacation at the Luxury Lodge in the Wilderness. The lodge is perfectly stocked. We had everything we needed. We are looking forward to our visit next year.

Wedding Weekend

Owner/property manager was very attentive and responsive. The cabin was perfect, we were there for a wedding at Pennyrile Lodge, the bride and groom stayed at one of your other cabins and it was also super cute. I get we should have had the wedding at 3 oaks instead ♄ I love your concept!

We had a wedding to attend and looked for a place nearby and we are so happy we chose to stay at the luxury lodge in the wilderness. The cabin was impeccably clean and well stocked. We were lucky to see foxes and deer, just beautiful.

An escape in the woods

Our family loved Eric's cabin. The property was so peaceful and well kept. We loved the pavilion with the massive fireplace and walking throughout the wooded area. Our cabin was so nice, the pictures do not do it justice! We enjoyed cooking our dinners over the open fire, playing checkers with the kids on the porch and made a visit to the Pennyrile park beach just up the road. A wonderful place the whole family agreed to come back to.

Great girls getaway

Not much to do in the area but we did a little shopping. Spent Saturday afternoon utilizing the awesome screened porch, playing cards and enjoying some alcoholic beverages!

Another amazing vacation!

This property is absolutely perfect to get away from our busy and chaotic lives. Nestled in the woods we listened to nature instead of our cell phones going off every few minutes. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Eric has provided everything you could possibly need. Even though you are away from it all, you are still close to activities, shopping and dining. Can't wait to visit again!

Awesome Place

My wife and I stayed here over Christmas during a winter storm and it was amazing! We had the whole place to ourselves. It was perfectly quiet and beautiful. The hiking trails into the state forest were alot of fun! Thank you Eric for an awesome stay. Hope to come back during the spring or summer!

Our stay at The Lodge was perfect. The peace and quiet were priceless. So relaxing and a beautiful way to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The hiking was great. The location is convenient to the Pennyrile. The house is immaculate. We can't wait to visit again!!
