Iggy and Al’s Tree House - highly recommend

Very nice property! Beautiful view and peaceful surroundings. The decor was so nice and inviting. The kitchen was so well equipped! We appreciated having all of the comforts of home! Would highly recommend this home for a vacation get away!

Beautiful respite

Couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The place actually looks better in-person, once you arrive, than online. Beautiful lake, nice house, close enough to town that you can get there when you’d like to, but far enough that you feel like you’re in nature.

A week up north

My family stayed for a week at Iggy and Al’s. The house is just what we needed. It’s cozy and cute with a lot of light. This is the second time we’ve rented it and I hope to come back. Just wish they provided towels.

Tomahawk Fall Ride/Birthday weekend

The house was everything they said it was we were able to check in earlier than the normal time. Plenty of room and very clean loved the decor. Convenient location for what are plans were very quiet location. We would definitely stay there again no doubt. It was a great birthday weekend that’s for sure wasn’t ready to leave. I would definitely go back next year or sooner.

The property was clean and cozy. We had the door code which made an easy entry. The beds were comfortable. My only problem is that there are no towels provided. That’s unusual as far as I’m concerned. But we enjoyed our stay

Relaxing stay

Very nice, quiet lake. Accurate depiction of home. No towels, toilet paper, paper towels or soap when we checked in. Note on counter said someone would be by with toilet paper but they never came. No place to put food but very well stacked kitchen and lots of games and literature of things to do in the area.

A Little Slice of Heaven

We could not have enjoyed this property any more. It was even better than we expected. The house is decorated perfectly and the kitchen was stocked with every item we needed and then some!!! Beds were so comfortable and the downstairs area was perfect for our other relatives that came for a few days. We had fun fishing on the pier and using the row boat. The house is right by Bearskin Trails so we spent lots of time exploring on our bikes. Love this home and love the area. Want to go back again and again!!! I would definitely stay at Iggy and Al’s again. Just beware… lots of stairs! If you have good knees, you will be fine!

Great!

We are two couples who booked the treehouse for a mid-October weekend getaway to the Minocqua area. The house is even better than the photos, the location is perfect and the view of Lake Alice really gives the northwoods vibe. If this is the only review you read: bring towels, none are provided. Our only beef was with the 9am checkout time; 11am or even 10am would be appreciated but we get it. We didn't eat any meals at the house but the kitchen is truly FULLY stocked for cooking. Friday fish was amazing at The Boathouse in Minocqua, Church Street Social is a very homey place for a drink and some reportedly wonderful home cooked comfort food. Pub & Prime in St. Germain had fantastic prime rib. Minocqua offers plenty of shopping. A walk on the Bearskin Trail was so pretty, lots to see. Would definitely return.

Perfect in every way!

I'm a mom of 3 boys that love disc golf and spending time together...one moves to Atlanta next month so we thought we should have a get away. The treehouse checked all boxes. We didn't have to haul my tiny Scamp and set up tents at a campground, had a beautiful carefree place to stay where each of us had our own sleeping areas. We didn't want to be right in town but close enough to have everything we needed without a long drive. We hit up Walmart after we checked in. We pretty much only needed food and drinks! The lake was beautiful and it had a fire pit, although we ran out of time to use it. The place isn't huge but definitely big enough for us all and would accommodate more too for sure if sleeping more than one per bedroom. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen is very well stocked with everything needed to cook with! We picked up pizza and cheese curds at Minaqua Pizza Co just up the road on arrival day, cooked a great breakfast on Saturday and had dinner out at Norwood Pines Supper Club on Saturday night. Pizza n curds were great and I want Norwoods again already! I wasn't ready to leave and want to go back to the area and the treehouse!

Nice small and private lake. House was perfect for our needs. There are quite a few steps to get to the lake. Fishing was surprisingly good. Loved our time!

Good but not great

Property management company could be better with communication. Was told it was our responsibility to put garbage cans out to the street - cans smelled of rotting meat when we arrived. Also, no towels supplied in the cabin. You need to bring hand towels, kitchen towels, bath towels with you which of not convenient. Other than that it was great, beautiful property, beautiful lake views and just as described. Well stocked kitchen, everything you could need there. Great quiet location.

As far as the towels, our arrival information does tell guests to bring their own bath and beach towels. However, the other items should have been provided and I have reached out to the owner to inform the cleaning contractor. I apologize. Also, garbage instructions were updated just after your departure, as there was an issue this the service coming down that road and a maintenance man was hired to take the garbage out for you. We are glad you enjoyed the location and hope you visit again soon!
