In town for a soccer tournament. Loved that it was away from downtown St George with amazing views but close enough to everything we needed. Great place!
I love the place it helps me relax during the Huntsman Senior games and allows for peace and quiet while attending the games. Having the art center and reservoir so close is also relaxing
This was a great place to stay. The accommodation was easy to find, clean and we loved the night stars. In the morning we went for a walk around the resovioir and the whole neighborhood was quiet. The view of the mountains was spectacular.
Wonderful place we would stay again.
Close to hiking trails and desert landscape. A nice little reservoir right behind the unit. Modern and updated. Remote enough to feel like a retreat, but not far from good food/restaurants.
This was a beautiful stay, very clean and up to date. The community is gated and secluded with only a few properties. Other plusses: serene and quiet, spacious, comfy beds (pillows were so so). Would recommend. The only issue is that we didn't receive the check-in instructions until the day after arrival, but when we called the host they answered right away and were helpfulâso hey, no big deal.
Home was very clean and welcoming. The views are beautiful and the location is perfect for Saint George activities. Zion is close enough to enjoy a quick day trip. Night sky was dark and the neighborhood very quiet. Families will enjoy the walking distance to the swimming hole. If the Gunlock reservoir falls are active don't miss the short drive to see them. I will be booking again.
I spent the month of April at this great Kayenta condo. Because it had the two bedrooms and bathrooms, I was able to invite friends to stay for a few days at times. The location is perfect, beautiful view of the red mountain, nice walking areas, close to the Fire Lake Park, close to activities in Ivins, St. George, and even Las Vegas.
The condo itself was comfortable and roomy enough. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes and kitchen stuff. Wifi was good, primary bedroom was comfortable. And it was great to have a garage for my car. Host Tyler was very responsive to any questions I had during my stay.mpl
My only
We rented this place twice as our midway stop on a road trip. On the first night, we were happy to find that the booking looked similar to its online presence. The provided toiletries were a bit lacking (no tissues, half-empty soaps, 1 backup roll), but that wasnât really a problem for our short stay.Yet, the real issues came when we returned only two days later. The booking hadnât been cleaned; even though we had been charged twice for cleaning fees. But, the worst part was the smell. The whole upper level reeked of marijana. We tried calling the property manager, but their office was closed and the mailbox was full. I also tried messaging Tyler on VRBO, but to no avail. Finally, my husband & I closed ourselves in the lower level room since it was okay. In the end, we left early the next morning because we couldnât actually use the rest of the unit. Thus, we will not be returning in the future.
This is a great rental. The second floor deck and windows offer a panoramic view of the red rock cliffs and snow capped mountains. Paved walking trails in the area and many hikes available near by. The Kayenta community is a gorgeous housing development. A couple of things to be aware of:
You are near the Crescent Moon Inn and the storage garages for the neighborhood
You are near the fitness center which menâs you hear the music during sessions.
There is not a dining table nor chairs in this rental. So while you could have 6 guests here there is no place to sit and eat together, inside or out. Just the 3 stools by the kitchen counter.
Non of these points affected our stay but they might for others
We had a really nice stay and enjoyed this space.
Showed up at 9pm. The instructions said the door was open w the keys inside. When we finally figured out where we were supposed to be we realized other guests had taken the place we booked, which, had 2 less beds, no view, and incomplete kitchen. Iâm pretty sure the mixup had something to do w/ a lack of signage on the doors. Apparently one was considered the upper and the other lowerâŠbut it wasnât specified anywhere on either property. We called Tyler and he ended up putting two of our guests at a different location down the street. Which had a strange smell and see through blinds in bedroom area. Tyler thought it was weird that the other guests made that mistake. I thought it was weird that it wasnât marked better. He gave us a partial refund. If you actually rent this property just make sure your checking into the appropriate unit.
Cons:
Breaker was switched off when we came in so the fridge and the AC were not working. Once we figured that out no other facility issues.
Walls are very thin with neighboring unit, which wouldnât be a big deal as long as the neighbors behave themselves.
I did not see any fans in the unit, although I did see a space heater.
Pros:
Everything else!
Location and views cannot be beat- large picture windows and patio facing the red cliffs of Ivins are priceless!!!
Home aesthetic indoor and outdoor- very tastefully done and fitting with the environment.
Beds were comfy and as advertised. King unit upstairs had shower essentials, hair dryer, everything we needed. Loved the separate counter and toilet/shower area. Huge closet.
Kitchen had all the essentials, including coffee maker. Grill outdoors was a great value!
The PATIO was to die for!!! We spent much of our time out there. Would love to see a table, hammock, or hot tub out there to really maximize the incredible space.
The biggest benefit of all was being across the road from the free Fire Lake reservoir! I brought a paddle board and spent several hours on the water. Great amenities for free access.
Additionally the Kayenta Art Village and restaurant up the street is one of a kind- gorgeous.
Canât wait to stay again!
Nice property next to the lake. Parking in the garage was a nice benefit, as was the complimentary soap and kitchen supplies. Might want to bring extra blankets if you get cold easily, we couldn't find any extras in the rooms, haha. Overall a great place to stay!
Awesome views, loved how contemporary the house was while still feeling away from it all. Girls walked to the reservoir to swim both days. We will be back!
