Beautiful surrounding area. Check in was very easy. Plenty of parking spaces. Only complaint is walls are very thin, could hear the people upstairs. Overall very clean, open concept spacious 2 bed/2bath. We enjoyed our stay!
We had a great time. The facilities were clean and well stocked with all the essentials. The view and the setting was amazing. Having the Fire Lake Reservoir so close was incredible. The maintenance staff were very gracious and kind. I would recommend the place highly.
I loved this stay. Best night of sleep Iâve had in a year, probably. Beautiful location. Easy in and out with helpful info and minimal instructions. Would recommend. Would stay again.
Stayed here with my girlfriend and a friend, all three of us were in town for the St George Marathon. Property was clean, directions were straightforward to get there, and the host was accommodating in allowing a late checkout so we could shower after the race.
This is beautiful, high ceiling, large picture windows and sunny suite located just steps away from Fire Lake Park in the Kayenta subdivision of Ivins, Utah.
Within minutes, you can visit Snow Canyon State Park which is breathtakingly beautiful.
In fact, the entire drive over to Snow Canyon from this suite is lovely - winding through gorgeous neighborhoods located beneath brilliant red mesas.
Both this location and Snow Canyon are very much worth taking an extra day visiting the Zion and Bryce area.
Instead of constant crowds; there is peace, quiet, beauty, great food and friendly people all around you.
We had a lovely stay in this home! We were in town for about a week and the location was great for exploring Nevada, Utah, and Arizona. Nice, quiet neighborhood with excellent stargazing! Definitely follow the instructions for getting to the property provided by the host; Google was not helpful, especially when arriving in the dark. Plan to get creative if you want to cook meals. There are no large appliances (no stove, no oven) but they do provide a 2 burner electric hotplate and a toaster oven. There's also a grill outside but it was quite dirty so we just used the side burner when cooking outside. Lastly, we were surprised to learn that this unit is beneath another unit. We didnt notice any noise from upstairs but were startled by people being able to see into the main bedroom from their outdoor space. Would probably stay again, just with different expectations!
Best parts about this home:
1) Views
2) Cleanliness
3) Comfortable bed & Couch.
We had dogs and were excited to walk them on the blacktop trail and by the lake. The blacktop trail in the picture was actually a road next to the outdoor porch and a big sign said no dogs allowed at the lake trail. There was a large dirt field to the south that worked great for potty breaks. This property is further out then we thought and did not have any spices or oil for someone who likes to cook. Great quiet space to get away, especially if you like to eat out.
Great rental - as others have said, it doesn't t have a full kitchen so plan accordingly. Note that the grill was out of gas, there was no laundry soap provided and the water filter on the fridge needs to be replaced - it would beep really loud every time you tried to fill a water bottle.
It's close to town and you can rent a bike at the Kayenta Village. Walking trails are near by and it's right next to Fire Lake Park at Ivins Reservoir. Just an overall wonderful place to stay.
Pluses are lovely neighborhood, views, and modern design aesthetic. Short on the comfy factor...laundry detergent, soap, and other supplies were almost out at check in. We used our own. TV is set too low in bedroom for comfortable hearing and my hearing is normal. I also am a tech person and realized that it could not be adjusted without adjusting physically on the TV. There are no extra pillows, throws or blankets and the concrete and loft space make it hard to regulate temp. We had to wear our coats. This is a bottom unit and the construction, loft style, concrete carried the noise like crazy. The bedroom door would not close, it was missing screws. So if you like views and lovely neighborhood, it is great. Just bring your comfort with you along with a good sound machine.
