3BR private oasis with in-ground heated pool - close to winery, beaches & bay!

Please disregard the above review…as you can see we are premiere hosts and have worked hard to achieve this rating. The guest even asked to extend their stay so it’s all a bit confusing…. Hi Susan, Your review has us completely baffled - especially since you called to extend your stay! A couple of things... - Yes, we are located across from the Historic Cold Spring cemetery. Our house is not 50 feet from the cemetery - we have almost 2 acres and the house actually sits back an easy 100 yards from the road. - We don't understand the comment about the artwork in the house. We have a variety of art ranging from fine paintings of people and beaches to photos of antique cars and boats. - The only part of the house that is not "finished" is in the closet. A small window used to be there . There is a curtain permanently in place. Again, it's in the back of the closet and has never been an issue. - As for any animal smells, I truly wish you had mentioned this the several times we spoke on the phone when you arrived. We certainly would have had the cleaners come out right away. We have our home professionally cleaned before each guest arrives and have never had a complaint. Quite the opposite as they are excellent cleaners. - We do not have blinds over the sink in the kitchen. The windows overlook the deck and pool. And the back yard backs up to trees. We enjoy seeing the trees and open yard. - As for the AC, I really don't understand. We have central air - you can control it any way you want. If you had issues or concerns, I really wish you had called. - As for the lighting, we have 3 umbrellas outside that have lights in them. We have lights that go around the bar top on the deck, and there is a big light that lights up the whole deck. Again, if you had called, I could have pointed out the switch on the bar top that operates the lighting. The sunporch has 4 recessed lights operated by the remote. You can make the lights bright or dim, even different colors. When you called, you asked what the remotes were for. We pointed out that each remote was labeled on the back. Again, if you weren't sure how to use it, a simple phone call would have resolved your issue. - And yes, the master suite has just the one door on the bedroom. We designed the bathroom to have an open flow. In the future when you stay at a VRBO, if you have any issues or concerns, it is best practice to call the homeowner immediately - not after your stary - to resolve. A simple call would have taken care of your concerns.
