Sharon's Cottage is a privately owned, cozy, bright & cheery property, that is located about a half mile from the charming seaside village of downtown Langley. The home has a floor to ceiling wall of north facing windows in the dining/living room area, which allows for good lighting, even on those northwest cloudy days. Double French doors lead to a spacious deck to relax on and enjoy the abundant wildlife all around.

The open floor plan allows for good flow from the well equipped kitchen with eating bar, dining room & living room. There is a great freestanding propane fireplace to unwind and read a good book by.

The cottage is decorated in cheery colors reminiscent of a French country cottage, complete with hand painted décor. The pine plank floors from New Hampshire add warmth and charm. There is a peekaboo view from the front porch or side yard area.

There is one bedroom on the main level with a king-size pillow top bed, ceiling fan and skylight. The second bedroom is an upstairs open area loft, which overlooks the living room. There is a king-size bed in the loft with double skylights that lead to views of the stars & towering cedars above.

The bathroom has double sinks and a separate shower/toilet area. There is a full size washer & dryer in the utility room. Other amenities include a 47” Smart TV, internet, wifi, dvd player, cable tv, dishwasher & built in microwave.

Come explore all that downtown Langley has to offer! Excellent restaurants, art galleries, boutiques and specialty shops. There is a public beach access at the Seawall Park, for beach combing, swimming or picnicking. For those hikers or mountain bike riders, the Saratoga Woods, is less than a mile away!

Whidbey Island has the tranquility and beauty of a remote refuge, and yet it is less than two hours from the Seattle metro area.

This place was fantastic! Super close (about 3/4 mile?) to downtown Langley and the house itself was perfect! Clean and cozy. Check in was easy and the host mailed a pair of shoes that I left on the back patio. Would definitely stay here when I go back. Whidbey Island is a great getaway!

Very cute cottage, well located, and well maintained. Property manager was extremely responsive when we had questions. The upstairs bedroom (in loft) is a bit funky due to the low sloped ceiling over the bed which makes it best for one person rather than two, but the main bedroom on first floor was comfortable. Perfect rental for a couple.

This is our favorite place to stay. We just enjoyed a sunny 4-night stay in April and booked our summer trip. The cottage is always impressively clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the proximity to downtown Langley is perfect. The new deck is a very nice improvement, and the attention to detail is second to none, right down to the spring flower pot on the outdoor table. April is an excellent host and communicator.

My wife and I decided to schedule a last-minute getaway to Whidbey Island, along with our pup Moose, and we were exceedingly happy with this property. The location is excellent: located in a quiet, private neighborhood, there are views of the water from the back deck and the home itself is nicely appointed. It's a short drive into downtown Langley for restaurants and things to do.The bed in the main bedroom is soft and comfortable; as it was just the two of us, we didn't avail ourselves of the upstairs loft bed/room. The kitchen had plenty of appropriate utensils and cookware.Communication with the owner was very prompt, with easy to follow directions.We'd absolutely rent this unit again!

One of the cleanest Vrbos I've stayed in and a thoughtful attention to detail (e.g., tissues in every room, makeup wash clothes, tape, microwavable mugs). Host was very easy to communicate with. I loved reading by the fireplace. Although a relatively easy walk to town, it is on a road with no sidewalk, so I'd be careful at night and with kids.

Comfortable and quiet near downtown Langley

This house is lovely - would definitely book again! My husband and I stayed here for a date weekend. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and location close to downtown Langley. This house is very comfortable and well appointed with everything we needed. We would even consider coming back with our kids sometime, since there is another bed.

Anniversary Weekend

April does a fantastic job with the property. It is just perfect for a weekend getaway. Tucked away in the cutest neighborhood in Langley and always super clean and inviting. And we are allowed to bee bring our furry friend...couldn't be better.

Love the cottage; it has everything one needs for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Was disappointed at all of the new construction around it. No more view to enjoy with the French doors to the deck open. While this is in a neighborhood, it now feels like you're in a subdivision.

The deck has just been replaced and extended, (to recapture part of the view), plus it now connects to the front porch. I don’t believe there is going to be any other construction going on in the neighborhood.

A piece of paradise

The cottage provides everything you need for a great stay. April the property manager was so attentive to my every need . The views are incredible. Lots of wildlife to keep you mesmerized. It’s quaint and relaxing. So close to Langley you can walk to town. Can’t wait to get back!
