Le Bush Point Hideaway est une charmante maison de deux chambres située sur un terrain de bluff pittoresque et privé d'un acre surplombant Admiralty Inlet (les voies de navigation) et les montagnes olympiques. Tous les navires à destination et en provenance de Seattle passent par chez nous! Les vues de Westside sont les plus belles des îles Whidbey.

Le Hideaway est meublé avec un mélange éclectique d'antiquités et de meubles plus récents. Les caractéristiques de la maison incluent: une vue magnifique sur l'eau depuis toutes les pièces principales / deux grandes chambres avec lits queen size / cuisine entièrement équipée / plafonds voûtés en pin noueux / deux télévisions par câble avec lecteur DVD / accès Internet sans fil / chaîne stéréo avec un branchement IPOD / grande vue panoramique terrasse avec beaucoup d'intimité / Spa avec vue apaisante / foyer au gaz chaleureux et confortable. Beachcombing et explorer sur une plage de sable est à seulement 10 minutes à pied. Ou vous pouvez y conduire en environ 2 minutes. De magnifiques couchers de soleil, de superbes sentiers de randonnée et le parc d'État de South Whidbey à seulement 1,6 km. Plus un bain à remous réconfortant, une cheminée confortable, un barbecue et deux coins repas extérieurs avec vue sur l'eau. Tout est là pour vous! Nous connaissons tous les grands points d'intérêt, restaurants, festivals, événements et activités. Nous serons ravis de vous aider à rendre votre visite très spéciale!

Le Hideaway est situé entre Langley et Coupeville, près de la ville de Freeland. À un peu plus d'une heure de Seattle. South Whidbey State Park avec de beaux sentiers de randonnée est à seulement un mile sur la route!

Nous avons plus de 25 ans d'expérience dans la location et le partage de The Hideaway, et de nombreux clients qui s'y réfèrent comme leur «résidence secondaire».

Spring Break Getaway

I was looking for a relaxing place to stay on or near the ocean to rejuvenate. There were several matches to my search, but this quaint cabin became the top of my husband and my list. It’s not on the ocean, but there is a spectacular view of it. The house has a western view of Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains. There is a hot tub where you can still see the ocean and mountains. It was heavenly sitting out in the tub watching the sunset. Also, sitting on the porch and watching/listening to all of the birds enjoying the bird feeder was also a relaxing treat. I just wanted to listen to the birds anytime it was light out. The cabin has a great location to see the sights on the island. On our first full day there, we drove an hour and 20 minutes to LaConner for the annual Tulip Festival. It is only during April, and we were lucky the weather and tulips both cooperated. During our visit, we also went to Deception Pass State Park, the tiny town of Coupeville, the Price Sculpture Forest, Fort Casey, Joseph Whidbey State Park, Greenbank Cidery, Meerkerk Rhododendron Garden, Double Bluff Beach, and ate several times from Pickles Deli inside Ken’s Corner. We own a Tesla, so charging the car was a worry for us. Luckily, we were able to plug it in to the outside of the house, and we didn’t need to stop at a charger for 4 days! The owners have helpful signs, maps, and travel tips in the house. They were also quick to both call and text us details on the house. They’re great!!

Review of Mark's property

This property was lovely and as advertised. The improvements I would recommend are that the kitchen utensils should be upgraded, particularly the pots and pans, and the dining room chairs need cushions or should be replaced with chairs that are more comfortable. Mark was responsive and nice. The beds were very comfortable. Overall, we had a very nice stay.

Lovely place, lovely hosts!

My mother and I visited Whidbey over Christmas and this was a perfect place for us to stay while visiting family and friends in the sound. We wanted to stay somewhere that felt like home, and Mark and Colleen’s place fit the bill perfectly.Nothing about the house is new—but it’s clean, cozy, well appointed, and you can feel the warmth and personality of its hosts. The view is amazing, beds are very comfortable, and I can imagine the expansive outdoor areas are a delight in warmer weather. It feels out of the way when you are there, but it’s nice and close to great restaurants and grocery stores, and less than 15 minutes from the ferry. A winter storm blew through that threatened to put power out on the island and Mark was proactive in reaching out and letting us know what to expect and how to keep the house lit and heated in an emergency. Every step of the way, they were cordial, great communicators and you can tell how much they care about their place and making guests comfortable. Very refreshing to feel the human touch of kind people who have a nice place they work hard to share with others. We’re excited to visit again in the future.

Vous êtes reçu par Mark and Colleen

My wife, Colleen, and I met on Whidbey Island many years ago. We have lived in different parts of the country over the years, but always called Whidbey, home.

We live a few miles from The Hideaway, but will never 'bother' you while your are enjoying your stay. If you need something, anything, we are just a phone call away!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The South West side of Whidbey Island is very charming, beautiful, rural, and not that far from Seattle. There is a strong community presence and quite a strong artistic pulse, which we thoroughly enjoy. We chose our location 'up' from the water, because being right on the water can be windy and cold, even in the summer! We also enjoy the privacy, and that's hard to find living on the waterfront. Too many other houses!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We have a very loyal and large base of people who have used our place over the past 20 years. They tell us it's like a second home to them. We have tried to make all our guests feel that way. Because it is on an acre of land it also offers an abundance of privacy, vegatation and wildlife (Deer, eagles, pheasant, rabbits, etc) along with a great water and mountain view. Our birdfeeders bring in all kinds of interesting birds.
