This ocean-front, ocean-view condo is freshly renovated! The resort itself has beautifully trimmed grounds, a family-friendly pool and hot tub, shuffle board, tennis courts and more! It is spacious, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms.

50th wedding Anniversary

1st impression very nice update. Enough space for all 8 of us. Everybody said their beds were comfy.Master Bedroom sheets were too small. They would not stay on the mattress. That room needs a night light for safety. Maybe all bedrooms too!The kids and those adults who went barefoot on the first day. Their feet were black from the floors! The rusted out toilet brush in the hall bathroom. Needs to be replaced. I was the only one who used the coffee pot. One morning I found it cracked. I texted the owners. No answer from them at all. We still had 2 mornings there. I thought that was very rude not to respond at all!The Maui Sunset property is very beautiful with a ton of things to do there! The sunsets beautiful! The beach right there perfect! We love Kihei!

Older but comfortable

Close to shopping and restaurants in the Kihei area, easy to find. Enjoyed seeing some honu on the beach, lovely views from our patio and primary suite.

Great family stay

Two families with young children. We loved the open feel and huge kitchen in the condo. The pool and amenities were great and we loved being on the park, plenty of space for the kids to run around.

The unit was in a perfect spot for the amazing sunsets, plenty of room for 6 adults and a toddler. Centrally located to most stores, the pool and beach area all well looked after. Would definitely come back

Excellent for family

The unit was beautiful, well supplied and clean. The location and ease of access is wonderful. Very easy access to a nice little beach where we saw three sea turtles. However you will want some sort of water shoes as there is a lot of coral under the water. The amenities are excellent at the property, pool, tennis courts, etc. We will certainly plan to stay again at the Maui Sunset!

Excellent stay

The unit and property were as advertised. The unit was on the fourth floor which gave beautiful views of the property , ocean and sunsets . The property itself was very well maintained! They cleaned the pool each morning and its upkeep is obviously a priority. Would stay there again for sure .

Fantastic Condo in a great complex and location!

We will definitely be coming back! The unit is beautiful, modern, clean and secure. We cam on a family vacAtion (5 adults) and had plenty of room to relax. The unit is well updated, clean and modern. The pool is well kept. The beach access is fantastic. A great place to stay!

Amazing view, location and activities

We stayed in this unit for a week with a family of 4 teenagers and 2 adults and the condo was very comfortable, clean, and well equipped. There could be more basic kitchen essentials like spices, oil and plastic wrap, Tupperwares however. It is costly to buy all of those for only a week stay. There were beach chairs, snorkling, body board and pool equipment available. No cooler. The grounds surrounding the condo are beautifully maintained. Excellent restaurants and grocery stores very near by. Overall are very pleasant place to stay.

Great condo, Fabulous Location!

This Condo had it all! We loved it so much and would 100% stay there again! We watched whales right from the balcony every single night and morning! There was tons of space, it was clean and everything worked as advertised! Highly recommend!

Great Location

Great location and place for family trip! Place could've been a bit cleaner and sheets didn't seem fresh. Also the toilet seat was broken on one of the restrooms, which was a concern for my elderly parents. Otherwise, it was nice having a wash and dryer in unit. The view is amazing and such a short walk to the beach. Definitely recommend if you prefer not to stay at a resort.

Actual Rental was Great, but Poor Communication

The unit was great. The only thing that stunk was a universal software issue that caused our flight to be canceled. We couldn't get to Maui for 2 more days than intended and we had to pay a great deal more to even go at all. We reached out to see if they would work with us a little on the reservation, with no response.

Great location. Nice property.

Overall we had a great stay. Condo is as advertised. The property grounds are really lovely and the oceanfront views were spectacular. We knew going in that the room with the bunk beds would be a little tight for our group but didn’t realize how tight. We had two adults and three kids in there which left little room for the luggage. Location is great with a small strip of sandy beach in front of the property and lots of great restaurants nearby. Would definitely rent this condo again.

Loved the proximity to the beach and everything in town. Great location. The condo is great for a big family. Kids loved the bunk room. Pool was great. Only thing is the residents of the condos definitely make it less welcoming. Not pleasant people. And the condo was clean enough but definitely needed to be deep cleaned.

This booking was obviously compared to others on sight recently remodeled and lovely. A few quirks but we felt at home. The complex seems to serve an older clientele which made us feel very safe with our teenagers running around the property. My senior mother in law was very thankful for the elevators and that there was so many restrooms. It was minutes away from lots of great food options and grocery stores which we were all thankful for.

Best Spot in Kihei for Two Small Families

This place was exactly what was needed for two small families of four. The kids loved the bunk room and this place is right where we needed to be. It is right near the Kam beaches and being 30 minutes from Lahaina and Paia, made it ideal. From the pool to the ocean views to the staff at Maui Sunset, this trip was perfect. Whale sightings from the lanai were a common occurrence multiple times a day. It’s always great when there is never a need to contact the owner as there was never a reason. Thanks so much for a memorable stay. We will definitely be back!

Family Vacation

This is one of the more updated 3 bedrooms available on VRBO, so we were happy to find a place to fit our family of 6 comfortably. It has a great view of the ocean. We saw a turtle right on the beach. It isn’t the best place to swim at low tide because it is so shallow with rocks, but my recommendation is enjoy the sounds of the ocean, the views, and the Sandy beach, but go swimming at another beach. So many great beaches not far for surfing, snorkeling, etc. We found the security staff helpful and very friendly as well as the front desk. The pool and hot tub was nice and tennis courts and shuffle board were great!
